The thing which looked liked trumpet is also one of the cultural instrument, and the thing which was carried on the neck is also the cultural instrument named as 'Dhimey'. Loved to see Nepali content :)
Hey bro the one you’ve been assuming trumpet is called ‘shankha’ which is shell of ritual and religious importance in Hinduism. It is the shell of a large predatory sea snail. They are using some ethnical nepalese musical instruments in this music such as Jhyamta, Nagara ,Jhyali and more which might sound different but believed to be powerful soul raising sounds mainly used in various cultural and religious events.
I don't see or hear any shankha. All I see is the long wind instrument which is most probably a Newari instrument 'Muali'. I'm not sure though but it's definitely not shankha.
That mask you were talking about is called "Lakhe mask". It is a big part of Nepalese culture, wearing that mask is supposed give you the spirits of "lakhe" which is also shown in the video.
There is another metal band from nepal called”dying out flame” you can listen to them if you are into vedic and religious songs with death metal fusion.

This whole time I was listening to metal in English, Norse, Gaulish, Finnish only.
