I caught the Logic Plague stuff immediately, but I never even realized the parallels to the Gravemind interrupts in Halo 3. So freaking hyped to see how the Endless storyline unfolds. Another 11/10 video as always!
Even if I knew most of the connections already, your observation about how Lucas Brownings hallucinations match those of John in halo 3 still managed blow my mind a little. Very good work, always looking Forward to your lore content.
@@scouttrooper2871 Horvath is a bit different because I don’t think he is actually on the same ring islands as the game, not until he meets up with the boat crew at the end of the book
I know there is much debate on if the Endless and the Precursors are the same. I'd argue the Endless are a species created by the Precursors as companions, like how Forerunners were supposed their Lieutenants. I still believe that Humanity was chosen because we knew how to grow from trials and we sought to integrate ourselves with the greater galaxy rather than seclude ourselves.
Possibly! Personal opinion of mine is that Kelly gay is one of the best halo authors at being able to pick different obscure lore pieces scattered throughout the halo universe and patch them together
@@haloguy I'd agree that gives her potential, but her first two books were - personally speaking - painful to read. I certainly wouldn't say she's the worst, though; Karin Traviss has that dishonor.
Did she actually die in the game? Like she manipulates spacetime to an extent it seems? She didnt just do that at that last scene??? Like is it canon she is officially dead?
Between 5:43 - 6:14 (actually most of the video is from the same source) can someone tell / remind me where this footage is from again please, I know I've seen it before, I just can't remember !?!? Any Help / Info will be Greatly Appreciated !! EDIT: Fixed Spelling !!

Thanks for always stopping by and showing support 🙏 but the parallels between these two are almost undeniable at this point
love your modern halo lore, dude. i really appreciate a channel that breaks down the new stuff! keep it up
That’s the goal here! There’s more up ahead

That was one of the bigger “discoveries” I thought people would be excited to hear 😅 glad it didn’t disappoint
Another great Halo Guy video. You made many parallels I hadn’t considered
Makes me happy to see people learning new lore 😁
Fuck he's got a point. This is really well made. Every damn time. Props to you.
Thank you honorable potato 🙏
I'm excited to see theories about Lucas Browning's, Horvath's and Stone's locations during the book. BTW I will have the book in 2 weeks
I have an entire video dedicated to mapping out their locations
@@haloguy About Kovan and most of the boat crew, yes
@@scouttrooper2871 Horvath is a bit different because I don’t think he is actually on the same ring islands as the game, not until he meets up with the boat crew at the end of the book
@@haloguy Maybe he wasn't on the big island where the excavation site, the mortal reverie and the conservatory were.
She may be trying to take all the human history knowledge browning had which will help harbinger to know their current enemy better
That’s a solid point I had not considered quite yet
There are too many clues that the endless are the precursors
If not precursors, then very closely related…
biblical game
What do you mean? If it’s in terms of its religious parallels, I would agree
Interesting

Oh man, I hope the Harbinger didn't "infected" The Weapon
That would be bad for sure lol
I think this more speaks to Kelly Gay's skill (or deficiency thereof) in writing, rather than a connection between the Xalanyn and the Gravemind.

These are cuteness from halo 2’s anniversary edition
@@haloguy Ahh Yeah, of course it is.....Nice One, Thanks for jogging my memory, Much Appreciated !!
I wish 343 would take Infinite campaign more seriously and drop DLC
It feels at times multiplayer gets all the attention. It would be nice to know if anything is being done behind the scenes for new campaigns/DLCs
@@haloguy seriously that's how it is for every game . We live in a multiplayer era. Every developer forgot about us Story gamers
