Two Christmases ago my husband and sons build me a room in the basement and I could never be happier. I dedicated space is a great idea. Oh yeah, I watched your video on "Why you no longer sell products" and I am beginning to have that feeling. I love making stuff but the selling leaves me lackluster and tired.
Now that I have been formulating for a few years, I have accumulated a LOT of stuff! I have a stainless steel restaurant table with half of a steel shelving unit on top. Jugs of stuff go on the shelf under the table and equipment goes above. I have another steel shelving unit with lots of categorized bins for smaller items. I think the most useful thing I've ever done is categorize ingredients! Not only are they easier to find, but I'm no longer chucking them in a pile after using them, lol! I am able to put it back exactly where it goes when I'm done and I'm not having to clean up after myself so much! Thank you so much for videos like this. No matter how much I know I always learn something new!
I flatten all my zip-top bagged ingredients and store them vertically on end rather than laying them flat. Big bags like SLSA or clays or cornstarch go in a filing box. Small packets like micas and additives go in a shoebox or an index card box. You can use index cards between the small bags to keep them from slipping. Butters, waxes, anything pelleted go in stackable meal-prep containers with labels. Label the container and the lid, if you are the sort of person who doesn't remember to put the lid back on a container before opening the next one! I wish I had a better system for bottled ingredients, they are by far the biggest wastes of space.
Oh my goodness I LOVE THIS!!! I need to get some little separators for my mica drawers so I can do this with the wee bags 😍 Thank you so much for sharing!
Thanx for the DIY tips regarding storage. My collection is growing unexpectedly since COVID happened and I've got cardboard boxes everywhere from Amazon but now thanx to you I got ideas on what to do~ 😄😄
Hi! Could you possibly make a video on how to make pH colour changing lip stick that’s clear or green? I’ve seen them a lot online and I really want to try! Thanks ❤
Ahh the dream of having a dedicated space! But for now am using clear bins with lids and an old TV unit for big tubs & bottles of ingredients. Love the CD unit idea as I have one that I can put to good use. Love your ideas and formulas, thanks Marie! ❤ PS: I’m in Cowtown too 🤠
What's your favourite lab/studio hack that just makes life better? 🤔

Dear can you teach cream blush and lipstick with natural ingredients
