Please don't try this, they will end up asking you to pay in order to restore which they don't tell you to be aware of paying for the software inorder to restore to a new phone. The worst thing is that they waste your time collecting all your informations and whats app details and leave u in a mess.
There is a way, what I did was I installed the latest version of dr. fone when i get the back up for my whatsapp from my android device i uninstall it. Then i download full version of dr. fone in piratebay, I use only the "restore to my iphone" command because the backup files of your whatsapp is in your system and the newly installed dr. fone will automatically detect it. I think this dude is just trying to promote a paid version of this softwares. Hope it will help you 😊

Dr. Fone was a life saver! I was not able to transfer my whatsapp messages (history) from android to my new iphone. yes this is a fee of $29, but it was well worth it for me. The process was tedious but I'm just glad it was an option. I spent months using two phones because there was not a seamless/free way of doing this. THIS WORKS! I paid $26 total, it was worth it. Also, make sure you purchase the plan on the website and not through the desktop application because that was not responding for me. The second software you mentioned worked great from my S21+ to iphone 13 pro max. However, you have to the buy the subscription to restore the data from android to apple. I tried with Dr. Fone (Oct 2020 - Berlin, Germany). And it worked!!! Had some difficulties initially. Then I tried little differently and it worked. I backed up my chats on Google drive and directly transferred them to my iPhone (didn't backup on my laptop as shown in the video). Had to change the settings of my phones to enable the process. Dr. Fone guided me through that. But this software is not free. Had to pay like 35 Euros (incl. VAT) for an annual subscription. Was worth it!
