Exactly how I see it, GOT looks like its trying for more of a artistic look which is evident in the vibrant colour and the painting like look of the grass and trees while RDR2 is going for more of a realistic look with different shades in grass, depth in snow and way more than can be listed. I got these mostly from the video as I haven't played GOT.
Got wasn't trying to be realistic. Like Witcher. Witcher also has a very good environment to its year. It is an amazing game but not realistic looking. Rdr2 aimed for the most realistic world and done it soooooo perfect!
I never really experience problems with my console on any game, apart from like AC Unity, or Cyberpunk. But those were released way too early. My Xbox one s handled RDR2 with no problems, if the game is polished, it should run fine on console, thats what your paying for isn’t it? With PC you can get better hardware but it costs more and have too make yourself, and console is ol’ reliable, can run any game that they sell for it, type thing.

As someone who played Cyberpunk on PC, my experience was fantastic. One or two minor bugs but nothing game breaking. Great story, fun gameplay and great voice acting. At a certain point we have to realize that consoles are no longer providing consumers with a strong enough platform to support their MASSIVELY ambitious games like Cyberpunk. That's on the platform, not the developer.

Rdr 2 made with passion and perfectionist in every small details, even the npc, conversation, physics, interaction, animal etc, the colour grading are so on point
For a game which is already 3 years old ... RDR2 is still the standard against which all games of this genre are measured. And it looks like it will remain this way till the next RockStar title ...

When I first saw the gameplay footage of ghost of Tsushima I knew right then and there I needed it in my life. Couple months later got a ps5 and ghost of tsushima and it has become my favorite game ever did not disappoint me in the slightest.
RDR2 is a masterpiece that is way ahead of its time. I'm pretty sure it can still beat games releasing for the next 5 years. But GoT is a beautiful game too it's just RDR2 is a masterpiece.

Two very different approaches in art style imo, and they both do their job incredibly well. As someone else in the comments said: RDR2 looks like a photograph, while GoT looks like a painting. These are both easily among my favourite games from this gen.
Sadly Rdr 2 won’t be topped by other open worlds for a while(except gta 6 and other R* games). But games like Tlou 2 have more realistic graphics, but they are linear.

Never owned a horse. But I have eaten one (not a whole one), so the only thing I can confirm is that Horse meat is edible. And yet neither game has an option to eat your horse. This broke my immersion.

I'm trying to get into tw3, but it's combat sucks to hell I can't stand it, and the NPCs are kinda dumb, Ai is dumb, they only say 1 sentence when u speak to them... The horse mechanics are ass... Rdr2 also had clucky controls and stiff shooting.. But it was far far better and more fun than the Witcher combat.. Attack, dodge dodge, attack, spell dodge roll... It bored me to hell

I’ve played both, and both are amazing games. Although RDR2 has better horse physics in my opinion, both have amazing stories that had lots of hard work put into.
Well I’d say that’s more of a fact that the RDR2 horses are better, because the game is a western, and horses and Cowboys were a pretty big deal. GoT horses are just cool looking.

Having extensive experience with both, I'd say both are unmatched by any other games, but both are uncomparable. Rdr is beautiful in realistic ways, everything is detaile as in real life GoT is beautiful, end of story. So much more pleasing to look in the eyes.

you can't compare RDR2 to Ghost, RDR2 came out much earlier and continues to amaze, and being better than any open world outperforming those that have been released now
They're very close, which makes RDR2 that much more impressive considering it's a few years older. I'd say only the water is a very obvious difference in favor of RDR2. I love the vibrance of Tsushima, even though it's not necessarily realistic, and I think I enjoyed GoT just a little bit more overall. One day I'll finish all the side stuff in RDR2 (legendary prey, dinosaur bones, dream catchers,...). That's actually what I enjoyed the most, but I got side-tracked by other games... Edit: just started a second playthrough of RDR2 and it's still glorious and in no way worse that GoT. It's my perfect slow-paced games.
One thing that sort of annoyed me about RDR2 is that when I’m tryna just explore with my horse and look around places a bear comes outta no where and my horse just fucks off. Kinda ruins the vibe lol

RDR2 is a masterpiece that is way ahead of its time. I'm pretty sure it can still beat games releasing for the next 5 years. But GoT is a beautiful game too it's just RDR2 is a masterpiece.
I've heard Tlou2 looks exceptional as well, haven't played it for myself yet.
@@shalindelta7 I haven't played it myself either but I played TLoU 1. And based on what I saw on trailer of TLoU 2 before and my experience on TLoU 1, I can say too that it is exceptional. It's just RDR2 is such a masterpiece, beautiful graphics, full of little details and amazing NPC that makes the world so amazingly alive.

Two very different approaches in art style imo, and they both do their job incredibly well. As someone else in the comments said: RDR2 looks like a photograph, while GoT looks like a painting. These are both easily among my favourite games from this gen.

Sadly Rdr 2 won’t be topped by other open worlds for a while(except gta 6 and other R* games). But games like Tlou 2 have more realistic graphics, but they are linear.

As a horse owner, I can safely say Red dead 2 and TLOU2 are the only games that have made horses look, move, and react in a realistic way

Never owned a horse. But I have eaten one (not a whole one), so the only thing I can confirm is that Horse meat is edible. And yet neither game has an option to eat your horse. This broke my immersion.

Both games have place in my heart, Witcher 3, RDR2 and Ghost of Tsushima.
I'm trying to get into tw3, but it's combat sucks to hell I can't stand it, and the NPCs are kinda dumb, Ai is dumb, they only say 1 sentence when u speak to them... The horse mechanics are ass... Rdr2 also had clucky controls and stiff shooting.. But it was far far better and more fun than the Witcher combat.. Attack, dodge dodge, attack, spell dodge roll... It bored me to hell
Why witcher 3 ? it's so trash and boring...probably the most overrated game ever made

I’ve played both, and both are amazing games. Although RDR2 has better horse physics in my opinion, both have amazing stories that had lots of hard work put into.

Well I’d say that’s more of a fact that the RDR2 horses are better, because the game is a western, and horses and Cowboys were a pretty big deal. GoT horses are just cool looking.

Having extensive experience with both, I'd say both are unmatched by any other games, but both are uncomparable.
Rdr is beautiful in realistic ways, everything is detaile as in real life

They're very close, which makes RDR2 that much more impressive considering it's a few years older. I'd say only the water is a very obvious difference in favor of RDR2. I love the vibrance of Tsushima, even though it's not necessarily realistic, and I think I enjoyed GoT just a little bit more overall. One day I'll finish all the side stuff in RDR2 (legendary prey, dinosaur bones, dream catchers,...). That's actually what I enjoyed the most, but I got side-tracked by other games...
Edit: just started a second playthrough of RDR2 and it's still glorious and in no way worse that GoT. It's my perfect slow-paced games.
