I can see it from the perspective of a child described by his father over the years, Specter is a metaphor to describe a comfortable time in your life but your not ready yet, like settling for a good job you didn't plan to have and then quitting, it's hard to leave something comfortable, the circus owner becoming a beast, telling a child he became a werewolf is a nice way of saying he was a drunk, the Siamese twins, Edward probably described them as "joined by the hip" a child could imagine them as literally joined at the hip.
You have done a brilliant job in comparing and contrasting this book and movie. I do know that I have watched the movie at least five times and the book only once. I find both wonderfully uplifting and life affirming. Thanks for all the effort you put into your channel.

I like the Life of Pi comparison, where an important character is given a choice between believing the plausible and the incredible.
Yeah definitely!
