Ivain, I watched you and my Kenyan bro in NY, NY when you invited and introduced him to the USA. I'm glad you have finally closed the loop and set foot in Kenya. Truth is, most people (Americans) expect you to lie about anywhere that is not America having anything nice or comparable to what they have here. Having said that, the Kenyans in Kenya trying to present Kenya to America have a steep upward climb to achieve that goal. However, a Camerounian New Yorker that knows the New York life and buzz words like you can kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Present Kenya in its raw form to Camerounians/West Africans, and a combination of the above with an East Coast flavour for added spice. Kudos to you brother, you are a blessing to Kenya in this episode. God bless!

Discreetly, Ivain takes his audience to Westland, Kenya to explore the night life. Firstly- 40 40 Lounge decor looked contempory as enclave of groups socialized and drank. THIS IS INSIDE A MALL; EXCELLENT CONCEPT. Secondly- Brew Bistro where folks were " getting down and dirty" with a plethora of interracial couples. Thirdly- Resturant Havana is for the grown and sexy." Folks were having a phenomonal time. Fourthly- Alchemist had a myriad of foreigners. Hiphop and R&B were the genre of music played. Lots of young folks were there. Sidechicks are😂 vast in Kenya. Overall- Ivain had a spectatular time at these venues!

Westlands is not the expat central .....where did you get that from 🤷🏿♀️🤷🏿♀️🙄🙄 Westlands is upper middle class area open to anyone.....
Being “expat central” means that is the area with the most expats in Nairobi. It doesn’t mean it’s not open to anyone else. Maybe pay attention to what I say instead of attacking me.
Also, if I’m wrong, please write down the neighborhood where most expats live or choose to rent when they visit Nairobi.
That way, other viewers can learn. I’m open to being corrected (nobody is perfect) but blindly attacking me with no correction is useless. I’ll be waiting the correct information then.

Unfortunately, the women with European men are mostly associated with not very interesting "virtue". You will notice that most Kenyan professionals or highly educated or with very good high school education avoid dating Europeans. There's stigma due to sex tourism.

@@IvainTures The fear of being exploited by the Europeans. Doesn't mean that there are no interracial couples among the intellectual classes, but in such cases it's usually people who met at university abroad.
There is a reason why a lot of man go to Thailand, but it doesn’t mean that all Thai woman date European man only those in need same for Philippines … and some actually do meet and fall in love regarding there financial back round … I don’t think we can put everyone in the same box
1) Filming in clubs recently became an issue when a Kenyan filed a lawsuit against a club using their image online for promotional purposes without their consent. The payout was hefty and most clubs put a caveat on filming. Hence the reason why you may not be allowed. Also, some club bouncers use this as a chance to exploit filmmakers. However, you can always film yourself without fear.
(2) Last, always feel free to join a random table even with strangers. Just introduce yourself, and maybe buy a round and they will get chatty. Hope you enjoy self
Nice video. For me, when I travel. I don't travel to another country to party with expats. A few in the club is fine but not like the Havana place Horrible. It's like visiting Khaosan road in Bangkok.
