Thank you Dr. Haynes for this letter, truly written under the unction of the Holy Spirit. Since 2016, I have struggled with trying to explain to, non-believers, the difference between white political Evangelicals and Black Evangelicals. You have made it plain, hallelujah!!! Blessings, health, grace and peace to you, your family and your congregation Dr. Haynes, as we continue to walk through these turbulent times, with our eyes cast upon the heavens.
I'm just a simple man but; There is only one version of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus, And we must not call out the speck in an others eye before examining ourselves, If we all serve the one true God and have excepted the free gift of sins forgiven and received that Forgiveness through the shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ and now have the hope of eternal life with God the Father we need to unite as one and stop this bickering we are a family. a screwed up family but a family non the less and when we argue and bicker back and forth amounts ourselves your playing right into the hand of the evil one. Let's ask God to forgive us all of our stepping out of the light of his goodness and grace and into the darkness of he said she said. Finally Loving one another in grace and truth.
