This was so beautiful. I am in the process of a divorce and I prayed for peace through this and God has shown his self to me through it all. Love is not about what I can get but what I can give... There is no perfect person just a perfect Father who gives his children what they need.... Amen. ❤️

This was a great message. I have been married to my lovely wife for 25 years and I am still learning how to love myself so I can love her better. I have to love myself and have Gods live in me first.
3 mentalities that needs to be debunked::
1. Disney mentality: fall in love with falling in love
2. Compatibility mentality: there is no such thing as ‘the one’, but there is a ‘the right one’.
3. Insanity mentality: once I find the right one, everything will be alright.
Changing the narrative from FINDING THE RIGHT ONE = BECOMING THE RIGHT ONE 🙌🏼

I want to believe that I can have relationships, but my experience is that 99% of them leave. Friends, family, spouse, etc…. Needing this faith.
If people want to leave let them walk
It might be hard to read but even from this sermon, it's got to do with you focusing on your relationship with God and he will bring family and friends that stay
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God I touch an agree with you that God will change your heart and that people will come across your way that you can have good enriched relationships

This is definitely on time!!!! The world really keeps telling me I need to hurry up and be married and every time I say I am waiting on God and working with God for me than I get looked at delusional. I am waiting on that divine one from God's divine timing.

This is the start of an excellent series Pastor Madu! As a single mid 20's college student, the temptations of the world and lust are very prevalent. I really appreciate this reminder that we have to seek first the kingdom of God, and work on loving/repairing ourselves in this season of our lives. Excited for week 2!

This whole series will be about loving yourself and you can only begin to love yourself if you find yourself in God and marinate in what God calls you and in His love. Then you begin to realize what you are worth. Then you start to realize how through His love you should love others. There is nothing new that Pastor Madu will say but in that message there is a lot of work but are we willing to get over our BS and put in the work especially on ourselves??

If love is not envy…why it states God is a jealous God ?

Hey Natania! Jealousy and Envy are different to me. I think everyone who loves someone gets jealous. Just the apprehension around your partner being with someone else should make you feel some type of way. Being envious however is wicked. Looking up the definition, envy is “discontented longing for someone else’s advantages”. While jealousy is “unpleasant suspicion, or apprehension of rivalship”.
God doesn’t want to be any other god that you worshipping nor does he want anything that god may have - because he is The Most High. However, he does want to be the only God in your life so he feels unpleasant when you have another god. He doesn’t like it. It hurts him.

He's a self-help guru or a motivational speaker but certainly not a preacher of the gospel of Christ Jesus
This guy I’m seeing has turned me on to the Word! And I have accepted Jesus and know he came and died for my sins! But the individual I’m seeing is not being a reflection of the Bible some of the words that come out his mouth are horrible And then turns it around on me and say I need to be stronger and I’m like you’re the head you’re the leader I’m following you and I’m lost. I know you not supposed to put no man b4 God! Maybe he was just supposed to expose me to God and maybe another man is my Boaz and not him.
Wow this message or teaching probably could have helped if I wouldn't have been initially deceived by the devil and manipulated into believing fosness from not only the spouse but from my peer influence has my parents everything that says that remarriage is correct my United States government and maybe even my English teachers who taught me the word together and allowed society to manipulate the word into not meaning its original definition sort of like a lot of the penal code that protects the police from doing things that are illegal that not police can't do
Marriage and relationships is destroyed in America because of unfairness in government you know the spiritual wickedness in high places
