@@HappyHungryHibby I don’t think I’ve ever used bulgur actually! I do love buckwheat though and I haven’t bought it in awhile. Thanks for the reminder 👍🏼
Hahaha I honestly use that whisk all the time!! I think it came with a little gifted hot chocolate kit I got for Christmas from someone (you know the ones with the mix and marshmallows packed into a mug that you can gift?) I don’t know what I’ve done with the mug but that whisk has stood the test of time lol I think you’ll love the tea too! I put a bit of turmeric in and I know you like your golden milks ❤️
Wow!!! This is totally brilliant! Not seen anything like this, in terms of food combination and flavour profiles, sounds so interesting. Nice little tips too! Just love charring pineapple, to caramelise those sweet juices and tenderise the meat. You've left me wanting more... I can't believe I've got to wait another week! Superb work. This makes for an incredible easy midweek meal. James
Thank you so much 😊 I’m glad you love this one. It’s been on the blog for so long and we always come back to it so it was time for a video! You will have to let me know if you try it with those azorean pineapples you can probably find in Madeira!
@@TastyThriftyTimely I just love it! Be sure to create a playlist for quick & easy meals. I can’t wait to make this for my wife. I’ll let you know her feedback 😜
Ya let me know if you think you can tell a difference. I think it’s pretty subtle and I don’t always do it but I figure why not try and get a little more toasty, nutty flavour in there.
Hmm good question! I haven’t used an instant pot in years but you could probably start by sautéing the onion and toasting the quinoa. Then add in the other veggies and water or broth. Cook as you would for the quinoa and then just drizzle the sauce over top and stir the pineapple in at the end. Would that make sense?
You can certainly add any additional protein source to this. Chicken will be great 👍🏼 I buy chilli garlic sauce as my go to condiment for adding a bit of spice to my meals but you could use any kind of hot sauce you have. You could also simply slice a bit of any hot peppers you have on hand and add a little in with a clove of garlic. I’ve never made a chilli garlic paste from scratch but I’m sure there are recipes online! Let me know what you end up trying!
Do you want to see more quinoa recipes? Let me know if you want more ideas for how to use it!
More quinoa please!!!
Absolutely but be sure to suggest replacements. You could also use buck wheat or Bulgar instead ?;^D

Thankyou
Haha you’re welcome! Thank you for watching. Miss you!!! 😘
Oh my gosh that teeny tiny whisk is so cute! This looks delicious, and I can't wait to hear about the pineapple skin tea.

Thank you. You're the best! You make my life is easy when it comes doing meal.
That’s so great to hear. I’m glad you’re finding the recipes helpful!
Thanks for the tip about toasting the quinoa! I'm making a Thai quinoa salad next week. I'll give it a try! The dressing is very close to this recipe!

is it recommended to add meats like chicken into this recipe? was thinking of adding it. Also how do you make the chilli garlic sauce?
