- Samsung washing machine uses solenoids valves to control the water flow.
Coldwater valve was stuck due to scaling, which can be removed easily.
Swapping of valves can be done as the main cold water is the one mostly used.

Thanks for posting this! I have a washer/dryer and the coil on the valve that water-cools the condenser was cooked, meaning it never really actually dried anything. I just swapped it for the coil on the hot water valve which I wasn't using anyway.

Thank you I have my washer back, was filling water even when the machine was off, inside the plastic valve found a lot of tartar (green oxide) cleaned the connectors too they had tartar also, you saved me a lot of money :) My machine is a Maytag MCT Bravo commercial technology XL model #MVWB835DW for reference to those with the same machine I have.

It might but not sure about the inlet & outlet. You have to measure them.
What of the solenoid is bad for one of them? Any cheaper way to source or replace?
Check with spares parts dealer or rift shops if you can find old parts.
what voltage do you use to test the solenoids?

3rd Valve For Top Wash Meaning And What Is the Purpose Of 3rd Valve?
It is for the top basket when u lift the machine top cover there is a basket for rinse after the cover.

Hey, If I ever want to get a solenoid valve, but only the coil, will all 62V coil work the same? Because I want to fix an older Samsung washing machine and the complete piece is discontinued.
Just match the voltage & see if the design is same. It will work.

@@Rkg-km5ic if there is no continuity via multimeter, swap it with the other coils. Repair will be an another project.

First & second is for tub cold water and third for top front tub/basket

Oh u mean the independent orange solenoid. Yes its for hot water. It can be serviced just like this one.
wouldn't the oil just go into the clothes? all my valves were working correctly but they had water inside the spring/metal rod area
You can use grease if you want. Spring/metal section is water tight due to the rubber part. But eventually the water creeps in as we have to protect the metal parts from jams & rust. Just a corrective maintenance.

@@RanJitSingh-im7su if the coils are working, check the power points at the machine end while operating. Check all the valves again. Hopefully this will fix.

Every machine is different, this particular models has 3 coils on respective valves. Hot water & 2 for cold water
