Thanks Sandy!! Among the hundreds videos I ve seen on padel, you're almost alone talking about foot work. I can do everything right alone throwing to myself the ball and make great bandeja, víboras .... But I can't in matches, because of foot work! Training alone is static, in a match opponents are rarely so kind and make us move but we have to do it well
Nice video - do you recommend a lot of small (independent) steps like in this video, or does it also work to just split step (without having a wide stance) when your opponent contacts the ball?
As long as your split starts the movement - and you don’t put your heels down again it’s usually good. But this is very much dependent on each player what needs working on.
Great vid, great advice, I'll certainly try and not get so wide and keep on the toes and stay out of no man's land and shorten the swing, and, and, and...... You follow my drift?
we often travel for trainings and clinics, so possibly! if you are part of a club, they can contact us to organise something too. email info@thepadelschool.com

I wish I were 25 years and 25 kgs lighter ..... 😭
Haha!!
Should one always aim at keeping short swings on volleys?
This was specific for this player, but often a short take back is the focus 👍
