What shoes does your husband play basketball in or what would you recommend (ideally with the wider toe box)?

Can you tell how thick the sole is on the outside of the shoe? I don't mean the actual thickness of the sole itself, but the height of the edging on the outside.
I purchased the courtsides in all white and... am I the only one thinking that it looks a bit like really cheap Chinese Nike af1? It's the glossiness that fucks me up I guess...
And they really don't seem durable to me, does someone in this community have them for at least a year and can tell me if they are wrinkly on the place where the foot bends?

What is the faux leather made of? Is this the lycell or anothr material?
I'm actually not sure what the faux leather is made from but I know that it's vegan and also different from the lyocell and micro suede materials. Hope this helps at least a little bit!
Courtside looks like vans in a way. I wonder if they're good for skating...
As someone who surfskate barefoot, i do need a pair for the skate park or for more street surfskating, shoes that can bare the need to put your foot flat on the road as decelerate.

To be perfectly honest, I'm not 100% sure of what would work best for skating. Do you need a less flexible sole? Also wondering if the friction of sole to cement as you decelerate would wear out the soles faster...

Is the size chart really true to size?
It says I'm a W8 but i usually wear W9 in regular womens shoes.

Hello! Did you find an answer? I've just purchased my size, but some of my toes feel crummy in one of my feet and IDK whether to get a refund and go with other brand or get a bigger size...
Laura please let us know when Feelgrounds does make a more durable athletic shoe. I want something for pickleball with a wide shoe box and zero drop but also need something with some support.
If you want athletic, go for vivos. Feelgrounds sole just disappear.
