The Bible, especially Revelation, uses a writing style that's common in Semitic language. It often introduces ideas in one chapter and expands on them in the next. This happens with the two witnesses in Revelation 11 and expands in 12. In Rev chapter 12:16, we see this interesting bit: "The serpent tried to sweep away the woman with a flood from its mouth. But the earth helped her by swallowing the flood." Then it talks about the dragon going after "the rest of her offspring." So, who are these offspring? Is it Jews only or, is it the Church also? The next verse gives us a clue: Rev 12:17 Then the dragon (Islam) became furious with the woman (in bible Israel is Woman) and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God (Jews) and those who hold to the testimony of Jesus (Church). The language of Revelation 12, the persecution of Israel, and really even bigger than Israel-the people of God who follow Jesus (and they’re also linked to this 1260-day stuff and the “time, times, and half a time”) So, in short, it seems the "The Witnesses" here means all believers in Jesus, and ethnic Jews.

Jesus is actually saying that you mustn't use your good actions for vanglory or pride, not that u cant share or do them w others. John in Revelations 10:11 says "Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, & nations, & tongues, & kings." Is John not in the running for 1 of the 2 witnesses? I believe E & E are, but John is told he will prophesy...
Please I know it is easily done but it is Revelation singular - to say Revelations plural even by accident will mislead. See Revelation 1:1-3 it is a singular revelation given by God the Father to His Son to give to His servants.

The book is called Revelation and is a prophetic parable. Although the parable appears to say the two witnesses are two men, we are told the witnesses are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks. Study the words 'olive tree', 'candlestick' and 'witness' in holy Scripture and you will know who the witnesses of Jesus are.

Do a word study of 'witness', 'olive tree's and 'candlestick' to see what the Lord has revealed.

In my experience, people do not get everything about their understanding of a passage correct, however, they usually contribute at least a single point of value. I find that by compiling the points of value, and separating it out from the bad, I get a far better overview of the subject matter. I'm interested in what perspective your viewpoint brings to the table (Matthew 18:20) I will likely look up every occurance of those words again at some point, when I get the chance. I'm studying many other Biblical passages at present.
During Yehoshua's ministry years, the beloved disciple John was there in person (not Eliyah) and was a living witness to the crucifixion and the resurrection of our lord and Savior Yehoshua. All of the other disciples Deaths were recorded in the Holy scriptures all except John's. His last known whereabouts was of him writing the book of "Revelation" in the Island of Patmos, no bones have been found even till this day.

To identify the 2 witnesses in Rebellion 11, you have to apply the Law of Homiletics, that's interpreting Scripture with Scripture. By interpreting Revelations 11:3-6, with Exodus 7:17, and 1k17:1; the 2 Witnesses are Moses and Elijah. Interesting... Both Moses and Elijah performed amazing miracles...theyre qualified for this purpose. However, when Moses died, he remained whereas Elijah was taken away into Heaven. Now it makes sense as to why Satan wanted Moses' body. God knew he would try to create a false witness so God was proactive and blocked him and decided to bring Moses back with Elijah during the time of the Anti-Christ. This is quite epic when you think about it. "To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen" (Jude 1:25).
Not sure if you realize this or not but you have the famine of the word AND the 2 witnesses' "world heard" message overlapping each other. The 2 witnesses are going to be known all over the earth, which is why everyone who doesn't repent, rejoices at their deaths. Kinda hard to mesh a famine of the word with the most impactful message the world has ever heard in the same timeframe.
Zechariah 14 is not about the great tribulation. It's about the time after the 1000 year reign in heaven when Jesus brings New Jerusalem onto the earth.

It's true that the identity of the two prophets witnesses not revealed for a reason.
1. That no one idols them,like most people do with celebs,ministers from a believe do.
2. They not the most liked people. For the plagues and not raining,water on blood, punishment they produced with prophecy,people actually hates them. And a true prophet is not very famous,because they can explore sin done by people,and that's also why they hate them. These prophets are not very welcome and been hated by people so much,they will celebrate their death and not allowed them a funeral. That's how much bad these two will be according people.
3. With laws and corrupt judgements of judges in a world of evil,such a two witnesses isn't the most adorable at all. Specially when they tell vip and government officials that they are corrupt. The Bible, especially Revelation, uses a writing style that's common in Semitic language. It often introduces ideas in one chapter and expands on them in the next. This happens with the two witnesses in Revelation 11 and expands in 12.
In Rev chapter 12:16, we see this interesting bit:
"The serpent tried to sweep away the woman with a flood from its mouth. But the earth helped her by swallowing the flood."
Then it talks about the dragon going after "the rest of her offspring." So, who are these offspring?
Is it Jews only or, is it the Church also?
The next verse gives us a clue:
Rev 12:17 Then the dragon (Islam) became furious with the woman (in bible Israel is Woman) and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God (Jews) and those who hold to the testimony of Jesus (Church).
The language of Revelation 12, the persecution of Israel, and really even bigger than Israel-the people of God who follow Jesus (and they’re also linked to this 1260-day stuff and the “time, times, and half a time”)
So, in short, it seems the "The Witnesses" here means all believers in Jesus, and ethnic Jews.

Jesus is actually saying that you mustn't use your good actions for vanglory or pride, not that u cant share or do them w others. Also, this has nothing to do w the two witnesses being prohibited of staying together, actually their relationship is like Aaron and Moses (one is the principal and the other is an assistant).

The book is called Revelation and is a prophetic parable.
Although the parable appears to say the two witnesses are two men, we are told the witnesses are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks.
Study the words 'olive tree', 'candlestick' and 'witness' in holy Scripture and you will know who the witnesses of Jesus are.

To identify the 2 witnesses in Rebellion 11, you have to apply the Law of Homiletics, that's interpreting Scripture with Scripture. By interpreting Revelations 11:3-6, with Exodus 7:17, and 1k17:1; the 2 Witnesses are Moses and Elijah. ( This can't be true , because Hebrews 9:27 says "It's appointed unto man to die once then the judgement " ). Now by interpreting Revelations11:4 with Zechariah 4:2,3; THE TWO WITNESSES ARE ENOCH & ELIJAH. ( The 2 men fully satisfied the condition )

And prophecy says he'll rule again before the Lord comes back. Also look up project 2025. If that passes, the 1 world religion and the mark will be enforced. Interesting... Both Moses and Elijah performed amazing miracles...theyre qualified for this purpose. However, when Moses died, he remained whereas Elijah was taken away into Heaven. Now it makes sense as to why Satan wanted Moses' body. God knew he would try to create a false witness so God was proactive and blocked him and decided to bring Moses back with Elijah during the time of the Anti-Christ. This is quite epic when you think about it. "To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen" (Jude 1:25).

Not sure if you realize this or not but you have the famine of the word AND the 2 witnesses' "world heard" message overlapping each other. The 2 witnesses are going to be known all over the earth, which is why everyone who doesn't repent, rejoices at their deaths. Kinda hard to mesh a famine of the word with the most impactful message the world has ever heard in the same timeframe.
the famine will be after they die then the wrath of God raining down.

Zechariah 14 is not about the great tribulation. It's about the time after the 1000 year reign in heaven when Jesus brings New Jerusalem onto the earth.
