That is a true statement, but do you understand that 99% of those who make this statement are not Christians, are unsaved, and are totally blind, lost, and deceived?

Wrong. All our righteousness is as filthy rags. When you accept Jesus as Lord over your Life and into your heart you are imputed with his righteousness. When you get saved, Jesus’s righteousness is given to you. You become Holy over time by sanctification. He cuts the sin out of your Life a little at a time, over time. You become holy in your lifestyle. You guys need to start learning more about things. You don’t know anything unless you Study your Bible and Pray. It’s about a personal relationship with Jesus through Bible Study and prayers. Everyday in the morning, make time to talk with Jesus( Prayer)and study his Word. If you do, he will come into your Life in a Big way. You’ll see. Bless you and take the time to pray and study.

Elia has come already, it was John the Baptist and John the Baptist died....So, when the theory is that it must be man who did not die already, Elia cannot be one of the two witnesses:)

I wish I could convince my daughter-in-law that God exists, but she believes in gods and goddesses. Heavenly Father, only you know the burdens I face please bless me. As a single mom it can be hard to have everything on your shoulders. Especially because both of my sons are special needs. The Old Testament and the New Testament
Absolutely correct!. It is the Bible that is the two witnesses.
Old and New Testament is a Manmade concept. Man named them this, not YHWH. They are all part of Holy Scripture in God's eyes.
THE 2 Witnesses are ENOCH and ELIJAH.
They are the ONLY 2 people who didn't DIE IN BODY here on earth. YHWH took them up to Heaven in Body , but they, like all children of Adam, must Die in body at some point.
YHWH reserved these two Prophets for the End Times.
It cannot be Moses because Moses already Died once. He cannot die a second time, as he would be returning in a Resurrected Body that cannot be Corrupted or Destr'oyed.

Interestingly, if we look at the menorah, (the golden candlestick) that represents God it is made up of 27 knops and flowers on each side. and when we add in the center branch that is made up of 12 knops and flowers we have 39 on one side and 27 on the other equaling 66 that are the Bible, Gods two witnesses.
Both Enoch and Elijah died. Both were men and it is appointed for all mankind to die.

The Bibles statement that Enoch did not see death is the same for all those who belong to Jesus who will not see death.

Both Enoch and Elijah are dead and in the grave and will not be raised up until judgement day with everyone else who has died. There is no one in heaven except for God and Jesus who are both God. Everyone who has ever died are in the grave awaiting judgement day.

Actually, I believe the Lord has been telling me that they are 2 angels, and that one is Michael the archangel. He has lived many human lives, including that of Adam, Moses, Elijah, John the Baptist, MLK, etc. I believe the other angel was also Eve, Deborah, Mary (mother of Jesus), Joan of Arc, etc. Just my 2 cents.

These are two olive trees and the two lampstands which stand in the presence of the Lord of the earth.

The Two Witnesses of Revelation 11:4
Let's start with Revelation 10: 11...
In this verse, the Lord tells John that he will give him another Prophecy.
Revelation 10:11
11- And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
Verse 11 is the last verse of Revelation 10... Revelation 11 begins with the prophecy.
Revelation 11:3-5
3- And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4- These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5- And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
Verse 4 refers to the two witnesses as "Olive Trees" and "Candlesticks."

The two witnesses are the church, meaning they are already here. The angel says that the two witnesses ARE the two candlesticks AND the two olive trees that stand before God. There are no other mentions of candlesticks in Revelation except for those that represent the churches, two of which are not rebuked, while the rest are. But they also are mentioned along with the olive trees in Zechariah. Here we find out that they are the two "anointed ones" that stand before the Lord.
Who are the anointed ones? Those who are anointed are priests and kings, in the scriptures. And what does Revelation say about the saints, the elect, throughout the Book? Right from chapter 1, we know that Jesus has "made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father" and in Revelation 20 we see "the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshipped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years."
The Two Witnesses are also decreed to finish their testimony, and then be conquered and killed. In Revelation 12, the Dragon makes war on the rest of her (the woman's) offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God, and hold to the testimony of Jesus.
The Two Witnesses are us. The church. We are being told through this Revelation that we are to expect this in our testimony of Christ, echoing the words of our Lord:

The fire from our mouths is the word of God by which we consume those who oppose the Lord and seek our persecution and death. The power to shut up the skies, and to cause plagues to happen, these are all things already long foretold by Jesus that will happen before the end - we are doing nothing less than revealing the promises of these things.
It's time for the witnesses to stop speculating over Enoch, Moses, Elijah or somebody else to fulfill this anointed position, and to own the roles asked of each and every one of us, as the bride of Christ.

THE 2 Witnesses are ENOCH and ELIJAH.

Moses and Elijah had similar ministries: both fasted 40 days, did miracles, had disciples, disciples did miracles, saw God on Mt. Sinai and Mt. Of transfiguration, Elijah was taken up in the same valley God buried Moses, and Both are mentioned in Malachi 4!! Jesus is the same. He followed both of his servants. ALL 3 ARE SIMILAR. @@DragonKingOz No. Jesus brought the little girl and Lazarus back from the dead. They were NOT in their Resurrected Bodies, but in the Same corrupted bodies they had before, because Jesus Christ is the First and only one (to date) who died and was Transfigured.
YHWH may have taken the dead body of Moses away so that Satan couldn't get hold of it , but he didn't bring Moses back to life and then take him up, in the same way he took up Enoch and Elijah.
This means that should Moses return, it will be in a Resurrected Body, which cannot be unalived.

A colleague at work went on about how the events of Revelation has already passed by and the rapture has already come and gone. What does Revelation 11:5 mean?

The Church’s are referred to as “Candlesticks”.
It is important to see that verse 20 begins with "Mystery"... The Bible is full of Prophecy and mystery, but the answer to everything written in Scripture is also found in the Scripture...
Nowhere will you find that the Bible refers to Enoch, Elijah or Moses as "Olive Trees" and "Candlesticks"...
I believe the Bible is clear, the Witnesses of Revelation 11:4 are not 2 people but, 2 groups of people. The Church and the Jews… Not all, but only those chosen by God.
Some say Enoch and Elijah never died well, neither will the bride of Christ. The Bible clearly states Moses died therefore, no reincarnation…
It will be the spirit of Moses and Elijah that comes over the chosen saints God will use in the times, not Moses and Elijah themselves…

The Bible does tell us who it is in Revelations. The "witness of the Church" is signified by the two lampstands, whose identity was disclosed by the seven golden lampstands (i.e., candlesticks) revealed in Revelation 2-3 as the "churches". Revelation 2:1 refers to the churches as golden lampstand. These 2 our the Churchs.

I find it hard to rejoice in Gods judgement. There will be so much pain and suffering. I will do my part. But war scares me. I live with a fear of Gods rage
There is so much evil, and so many are getting away with rape and murder. The victims are not getting justice here. BUT they will not and can not escape God. Gods justice is NEEDED and FAIR. I am always amazed at Gods patience and love towards us. It always brings me back to 2 Peter3:9.
Gods wrath is something to be feared. But us who are in Chirst do not need to fear His wrath for Jesus took that wrath upon Him for us. We will never know the cost it cost for us to be saved. Trust God❤

Every time a writing, teaching or video starts to try to explain about the two witness, a multitude of opinons come out saying what they believe. The best thing to do is wait in prayer while reading the scriptures. Don't jump to conclusion.
This is because the entire church is 100% apostate and is filled with the completely Biblically illiterate. There are no Christians in the church.
