Doesn’t it feel so good to have everything nice and clean and fixed for the day? So sorry to hear you’re having issues with that dreaded problem. Trigeminal neuralgia is nothing to fool with. My poor mom suffered with it and I know how awful it can be. I really hope and pray that you will get some relief and be more comfortable. Looks very nice. Bunny lamp looks nice and I love globes and maps. I did go by my town's new Cookie Shop, the only oatmeal, raisin and walnut cookie was gluten free, extra gluten for me please, but I bought myself a big chocoate chip cookie and one for my husband. Good idea to place your cookie dough into a roll and freezing, they will be ready for your holiday treat, oatmeal is my favorite. They did have some delicious looking shortbread but it was iced, I'll have to make my own at the holidays. There was a German bakery in my neighborhood as a child and they used a piping tube for making butter cookies that would bake together after being piped on to a cookie sheet, looked like a cookie bouquet, my Mom would stop and buy me one every Saturday before going shopping, buttery delicious. Dinner looks great.😊

Cleaning pantry isn’t my favorite thing to do but you’re right I feel better, cleaner and organized afterwards. We’re getting super cold weather starting tonight. I live 120 miles southwest of San Antonio so southwest Texas will not be our usual 109 degrees. 44 tonight and up to a high 46 tomorrow daytime. I’m 74 and can’t take the cold much so yesterday I stocked up on groceries and my prescription meds and made sure car was full of gas. Hopefully I won’t have to go out for anything. They’re warning everyone to tie down Halloween decorations cuz wind will be gusting 36 mph.🥶 Lol. This vintage lady is staying in with her fur babies, crafting, reading and napping. I don’t know how you do it in Canada.😃 Have a good weekend💕

We use plain oold scissors to cut our pizza. Saves on having to own that one extra utensil. I also put labels on the tops of my spice containers. Makes it super easy to locate what you need when you store your jars upright. This is all the help I can offer ☺️I love how beautiful your pantry porch is. It’s the perfect use of space and it looks pleasing and so well styled.

Hi Miss Brook, The Corned Beef you used I cook with all the time. Its Delicious and I cook it in Cabbage and Fried Potatoes with onions and I just add the corned beef to it. I use it with scrambled eggs also. Its an easy way to help stretch meals. Love your videos.❤

Amazes me how many kitchen drawers are similar on the YT channels I watch. So many of us like the same kitchen tools. Mine are about the same but I do have a lot of utensils from the 1940's...came to me from my grandmother & mom. Seems like a more reasonable grocery shop this time...maybe.😄

I grew up eating corned beef and cabbage with thinly sliced potatoes and onions. My mom would make a big pan of cornbread on the side. It fed a large family of 8 very affordably. I have a big oak tv cabinet converted to a prepper pantry. We call it the Grocery Store, lol. I AM OCD so anything loose like pasta, sugar, flour goes in mason jars, haha. Your house looks cozy and clean; so pretty! A clean house feels SO good, doesn’t it? Sorry you are experiencing health issues. I hope you feel better soon. ❤

Good Sunday morning momma Brooke! That looks good,but for being German I am not a fan of boiled cabbage. Once in awhile I get a craving..but hubby does the corned beef& cabbage / with eiether Guniess or beef stock. I prefer the beef stock. I never tried canned.I usually cook to much stuff...don't know why😮 we used to entertain alot & now it just haulted sort of. In our community of 142 homes they have gatherings,but most people who hung with are passed,or changed their attitudes to snobby.Why is that ? We are just hard working people who like music,fun& peace. It seems now it's who can spend,order,& yap gossip ..Oh well! You did a great job on your pantry..beautiful home,I love the style.👍💞🤗🎃🌻

I love it, something’s in the air. I was cleaning and dusting half the day. Getting all those nooks and crannies. I used what I had today too. We ate veggie enchiladas with some left over beans all I had to buy was a small pack of cheese and some enchilada sauce. #usewhatyougot ❤😂

I am definitely going to make that corn beef and cabbage dish. Lately I have been making up a variety of soups/stews to use up vegies, etc., so need to finish up the leftovers before I do another cooking project.
Been super cold at night here in Western Oregon so I have had to cover my Meyer Lemon trees. They are in protected area on my patio so they are doing great. Tons of blossoms but only a couple lemons. I enjoy your videos and am also doing cleaning and reorganizing, and putting together a couple large grocery sacks of canned food and pasta to take to the food bank. We are so blessed. May your week be blessed. Looking forward to your trip to that sweet little store in y our neighborhood.🍁

Right it’s quick and easy and it goes a long ways, you can add sliced pepper, red or green whatever you like.
I love that you add pepper to the meal. Growing up in a Caribbean household we also add a scotch bonnet pepper 🌶 to give it flavor., or of course pepper sauce on the side! I love your pantry also .

Brooke, I've done this to my spice bottles which I keep in the freezer. I put stickers on the lids with the name of the spice so that it's easy to find what I need.
