Abraham, The Man of Faith - Genesis 15:1-21 - Pastor Jason Dahmer - February 2, 2025

We invite you to join us this morning as we continue our sermon series, "Abraham: A Journey of Faith." Throughout this series, we explore Abraham's life in Genesis 12-22. As we follow Abraham's life, we get a front-row seat to witness a life lived by faith. It is a story that shows us how we grow in faith and reminds us of God's gracious promises and faithfulness.
In this week's sermon, Pastor Jason Dahmer will share a message from Genesis 15:1-21. In this week's passage, following his successful raid against the kings from the north, the Lord appears to Abraham assuring him that he will be his "shield" and "reward" him. Hearing this promise, Abraham questions how God will fulfill his promise to become a great nation, seeing as he still remains childless. To this, we witness God make a covenant with Abraham and foretelling his plan to bless his descendants. It is a reminder of God's faithfulness to his promises.
