sorry forsomeone who says we do this ,as a family we are like this , i learned this a leatlrned this , sorry kabod tv but this is so patronising for those mums who who realy know what autism means?

Fortuna, i am assuming this comment is not for me as my child is just about to turn 5 next month..and i did know about her symptoms before she was 2 years old even before her pediatrician. she has been getting treatment even before she was 2 years old BUT that is only because i had knowledge about autism before our child was born. I had worked with children and adults with ASD dx . FYI: lots of people don't know what signs to look for so the children don't get diagnosed or get treatment until they start school ..and depending on what level of ASD the child has ..or if the child has Aspergers it is easy to miss things or just be in denial because the child is able to communicate/ use language and get by .... I know what you are saying BUT remember that every kid and every family has similar YET different experience.. it is definitely hard .that is why even with my educational background, i don't come and try to be an expert on someone's life .. i provide information/ awareness, inspiration, and empowerment because i know with a little guidance every family has it within them to find out what will work for them. blessings my love.
