If you want to read more about Uluru, I wrote a guide here.

I am absolutely stunned by the beauty of Uluru. The cave art left me speechless, but the true art is nature. I would love to see a time lapse video of this sacred mountain to watch the shadows bring animation to life. Nothing is random. Thanks mate from your American cousin.

Great video! I've never seen uluru that close up before, just photos of it miles in the distance. Pretty cool!

It gets a lot of the lightning storms in every summer in Uluru - Kata Tjuṯa and be careful not to hike and swim when lightning strikes because water conducts electricity. Lightning is seen in Yulara by the resort village and it is fun to watch in the sky in Uluru- Kata Tjuṯa when it rains makes everything wet outside. There a big problems of flash floods in every summer in Australia’s Northern Territory. Lightning is fun to watch during a summer thunderstorm.

Cannot wait to do this myself in a few month's time. Need to find shorter walks that won't tax my tired old bod (I'm a senior). Thanks so much for your commentary.

Thank you for the lovely comment Glenda. There’s another 2 or 3 shorter walks around Uluru, which are perfect. Enjoy the silence as you soak up the history of the place.
