1:34 A Malevolent complaining about a Lamenter breaking something, besides civilians, is rich beyond measure. The high horse hypocrisy on this one, even Emps is jealous of the hubris on this statement.
To be fair, while Lamenter made good points, Malevolents have famously one the best victory record among the chapters. Its just the way they achieve it is F up. And considering they been around since M32, right after the Heresy, its a damn long list. Also, funny that we dont know about Malevolents. Chapter Master? Unknown. Homeworld/base of operation? Unknown. Active numbers? Unknown. Geneseed lineage? Unknown. Althought my bet is on Iron Warriors. I also like one comment theory that there are 2 types or marines malevolent, the hateful assholes and efficient assholes. Captain Kastor is the example of efficient asshole, biggest success for minimal cost, no matter the consequences, while Captain Vinyar is the example of hateful assholes in the Chapter. Hates everything, everyone, actively wants to kill anything he can and achieve the objective as a side quest. Would be nice to have a novel making them more multi dimentional instead or just trigger happy Night Lords in yellow Power armor.
Imagine if they were kept properly supplied so they wouldn't have to butt heads with other chapters over ammunition. I don't mind the MM, I see them as callous realists, some of whom take it too far.
Lamenters win this one, the Marines Malevolent are their’s and everyone else’s enemy. So much fodder. At least the Lamenters care and that makes them heroes.
I love how Garrick acts like nearly getting wiped out by the Tyranids, the all-consuming swarm poised to destroy everything except maybe the Necrons, was a sign of weakness or mediocrity on the Lamenters' part. The freakin' Ultramarines and the Blood Angels, two of the most powerful and effective Loyalist chapters, nearly lost their homeworlds to the Tyranids.
There is no contest. One refuse the Iron halo from Calgar because they "failed" to save millions of people enslaved by orks which is an impossible task, while the other one is just a bad meme about grimderp.
You can always tell who's got their Marines Malevolent lore from memes and loretubers and who's got it from actual lore. A lot of people seem to have the strange misconception that Marines Malevolent are always angry and frothing at the mouth like Khornates, but they're actually the exact opposite. They simply do not care, and if you do, they'll think it's funny. They're petty, spiteful, bitter and cold, and possess an extremely bleak sense of humour and a ruthless "ends justify the means" mentality. They're not shrieking madmen who go out of their way to kill civilians - they just don't factor them or any of their concerns into their battle-plans. They're WAY more like Iron Warriors or Night Lords than World Eaters. Besides, nothing the MM have ever done is anywhere near as awful as what the Iron Hands do to civilians and Guardsmen on a daily basis, but because Salamanders (and their players) are deathly allergic to strategy, people get angry at them whenever they're mentioned.
I think the marines malevolent is a easier target for the jokes because of there name but i do agree that the iron hands make the marines malevolent look like jovial pranksters when it comes to how they treat there allies.
Lamentors... Great faction who also have some of the greatest burns. The greatest lamentors are those who can openly smack talk their enemies and prove they aren't even half as great as the lamentors even with how bad their luck is.
The marines Malevolent have one of the best records in terms of successes. Imperium may dislike them and their tactics (the hypocrisy of the imperium is quite funny) but their efficasy is one many chapters strive to have.
Considering that salamanders go die in squads to save a a few targets of insignificant to no value to the imperium someone should. Salamanders suck honestly
Marines Malevolent for the win. So, you're cool with with giving the good lines to the "bad guys" as long as they're Imperials? (Still salty over the Night Lords video). AVE DOMINUS NOX !!
Nah, the marines malevolent are just kinda overrated. They're just chaos marines for people too afraid to be chaos marines. Blood for the god emperor and all that

Save 6 minutes:
Lamenters: *Actual concerns, grievances, appeal to logic and loyalty*
Malevolent: "Nuh uh, youre stinky!"
(Fun fact) The Marines Malevolent's battle cry is actually; "Hate is the surest weapon!"
Dang, Lamenters were cooking Malevolent in this roast.
Anyone saying otherwise is just coping.
0:30 1:41 2:31(*"did you feel bad for them"* 😂) 3:24
(I'll admit 2:07 was a good one.)
I didn't know that I needed a roasting Battle between chapters.... Now I am hooked
A lot of Malevolent fans in the comments. Also, a lot of Chaos fans in the comments. Funny how that Venn Diagram is a borderline circle, hmm?
No dont sell me on marines malevolent anymore!
Heresy grows like a tree.
Surprised they haven't fallen to the blood god yet.
Minotaurs and flesh tearers too
Darius is fighting for me and the chapter!!
Long live Brother Darius

Night lords vs raven guard
Iron hands vs Iron Warriors

Which one is which? Not a big lore person.
@@fanficloverlamenters : Really unlucky but will happily die for the common man
Marines Malevolent: War criminal who drinks baby tears
@@unshelledpig2074 so to be clear, malevolent are the meme of being grimderp?
@@fanficloveryup.
And the Ultramarines even shat on them for THAT! Although not Calgar, he had to tell the other blue boys to back off and show some respect.
Another good video. Next suggestion would be Thousand sons vs Space Wolves or even Necrons given that both take influence from ancient Egypt.

NobleBright virgins vs. Grimdark Gigachads
From a certain angle there is a Starcraft terra in the planets in the background
Was it just me or did Brother Garrick of the Malevolent Marines sound like Bane from Zimmers Batman?
Lamentors... Great faction who also have some of the greatest burns.

😂😂😂...
A pox on both! Yeah, I like 'em but give me the Angry Marines every time!

Tell that to the Salamanders

Marines malevolent were cooking the lamenters so hard i actually smelled charred ceramite through my phone.
Yeah, as much as I hate to say it anyone saying otherwise is just coping massively
Hhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, no.

Marines Malevolent for the win.
