Iron hands got utterly obliterated by the iron warriors. And the iron warriors didn't even have to bust out the "you complain that we take after our primarch, but i think you're just jealous because Ferrus manus would be disgusted by what you've become", which would have been an instant 1 shot kill.
Iron hand : and don't get me started on your obsession with the deamonculaba. What's next? One size enough to stuff a Tyranid in? An avatar of khaine? A deamon primarch? And I thought slanneshi servants where the only ones with weird taste.
As an Iron Hands fan, I gotta say I’d be more okay with the concept of the Iron Warriors if their Primarch wasn’t such a pathetic, pouty little shit, gleefully cramming his sons into every meatgrinder he could find with reckless abandon, spending their lives like they were Kriegsmen, then turning around to his brothers and pouting about how he always got the tough jobs and never got the validation he deserved. Perturabo is cringe. The Iron Warriors are cool. When Pertie isn’t around to cramp their style, they’re cool as hell, and they more than live up to their name and reputation. But Perturabo just comes off like a whiny little kid, trying to rationalize HIS OWN FAILURES as the fault of others. Ever the victim of neglect, ever under appreciated, and he thinks it’s because he’s BETTER than everyone else. The mental gymnastics Perturabo exerts to make himself feel better do not jive with how his Legion conduct themselves on the battlefield. He’s a bad fit for men so stolid, stoic and unbending as the 4th. I’d love to see some ultimate badass of an Iron Warrior overthrow his father and unite the legion. Perhaps to wrest power and influence from the Black Legion, or even to address the ever growing Tyranid problem, seeing as how we’re ALL gonna have to face the music on that one eventually, loyalist and traitor alike.
Iron Warriors literally remove their own body parts and replace them with metal any time they get a little too warpy. Talking shit about 'Patching Up' is the last thing they should be complaining about
Ferrum: and this is being told to me by a member of the legion who lost 50% of his staff in the internecine civil war unleashed by your primarch and all because of his hysteria after he voluntarily became a demon prince and realized that now he is a slave to four chaos gods at once, unlike Angron, whom he mocked for it. Oh, but after this war, your legion broke up.
Yeah, and it took the combined strength of numerous traitor Exertis and Mechanicum assets, plus 8 ASTARTES LEGIONS, to bring the Iron Hands down. Don’t forget, Horus was quaking in his frilly little gumboots when he found out that Ferrus knew about the rebellion, and was coming to kick his ass. Vulkan and Corvus were afterthoughts to Horus. He was scared of the Iron Hands and their Primarch.
@venerablebrothergoriate5844 very true. Iron hands were total badasses. Lost their primarch and of the 3 loyalist legions targeted on Istvann V, suffered the least losses.
@@thegamingweeaboo6288 it wasn’t even the full tenth legion either. It was about 2/3rds of the Iron Hands at Istvaan. Most of them being considered veterans of the crusade. At the height of the legion’s numerical strength, I believe they had a headcount of somewhere between 110,000 and 115,000 Astartes. Middling strength, Guilliman had 3 times the headcount. And plenty of the ones actually deployed to the surface still managed to escape Istvaan V and join up with the Shattered Legions, to cripple traitor support and supply lines and massacre isolated battlegroups. Hell, the Shattered Legions, primarily composed of Iron Hands, made several assassination attempts on multiple traitor primarchs. Dwell wasn’t the only attempt, though that one did have Perturabo and I believe Mortarion in the crossfire as well as Horus. They also made a second attempt on Perturabo’s life at Iydris, and before that, an attempt on Fulgrim’s life, where Iron Father Sabbick Weyland and Nykona Sharro’Kyn (coolest Raven guard ever, like, he was the first man to kill Lucius the Eternal in a duel, before he got the bullshit infinite lives power) of the Raven Guard snuck into an Iron Warriors/Emperor’s Children encampment and put a needler round into Fulgrim’s face. There was also that very nearly successful attempt on Alpharius’s life on Learner 2-12, an imperial starship refueling station. That same warband, the War Orphans, lead by Cadmus Tyro and Ulrach Branthan of the Iron Hands 65th company, would later go on to reach the Sol system during the siege of Terra, rescuing the Magna Mater from the Sons of Horus. The Magna Mater basically being the source code for Astartes genetics, the blueprints the Selenar gene-witches used for the first batch. Pretty much a “How to Make a Space Marine for Dummies” handbook, complete with pure genetic samples from every extant Astartes bloodline.
Funny how the Iron Warrior’s talk of “human strength” goes right out the window the second that guns are aimed at them and they’ve got meat shields to reach for. If they believed in human strength, they might have remained loyal, or they’d at least fight their own battles.
I mean, like, meat shields kinda are "human strength", if you think about it. And they do also usually fight there own battles. It's just they also fight everyone elses.
Both their primarchs lose their head over the littlest shit

When did the Iron Warriors ever “obliterate” the Iron hands?
@TheSascatch the obliteration starts at 0:00
The iron hands coping is so painfull
So is Iron Warriors

2:36 as an iron warrior player damn this one hit hard. Both of em had some sick burns tbh.

I’ve never heard such a Butthurt Iron Hand in my entire life.
And this is coming from Peter Turbo himself... 😮
Sure sure...
They might sound butthurt but it took 8 traitor legions just took down 3 loyalist legion
@@vergiltheartofpower6616 You mean “The Iron Warriors did 100% of the work while everyone else pissed about”

Iron this iron that, they'll both be blasted to smithereens by Salamanders given the chance.
Did the Iron Hand just say 'from a corpse on a golden throne'? I would like to file a report with the Inquisition
Ferrus Manus hates his legion lol
Raven Guard vs Night Lord pls
Perturon: and you lost istvan with most of your legion and your primarch
I mean, perturabo basically singlehandedly orchestrated the drop site massacre. Not much the iron hands could retort to that.
