@Emile_0296 That sounds like OG amp distortion, I know what you mean but I'd call that distortion more than overdrive, but I know what you mean, a Marshall JCM800 or VOX AC30 without a pedal pushing it does sound less distorted than a RAT dimed.
Overdrive is Blur.
Distortion is Motörhead.

I owned each of these pedals at different times. The Super Overdrive was by far the most natural sounding and musical pedal.

I've heard more overdriven sounds in the punk I listen to. It's great how punk can use anything and still sound punk.
