It’s a little insane how Gage popularized the sealed only trend and also helped create the progression series trend. Now if only he could win one Ep of progression
they didn't just start a trend, they made almost every big YugiTuber channels to make their own version of a Yugioh series (yugioh wheel challenge, sealed only Rivals, progression play offs ect.)

This was more entertaining than expected. After the King of Games arc with Briggs is completed it would be cool to see you gather other tubers and streamers and do a wild RUclips Battle City Arc.

Just like when Cimoooooo and Nhymnim started this last year, I'm immediately taken back to being in grade school when the card game first came out here in the U.S. I adore this franchise, but the game play was every bit as simplistic and grueling as it appears. If you DIDN'T have decent level 4 monsters, it was a stalemate until someone nuked the board with Dark Hole or Raigeki. Unless someone managed to bring out a behemoth like Blue Eyes, Dark Magician, etc. Then it became a game of "Throw out whatever the heck I can to protect myself until I can destroy his monster, bounce it back to his hand, or send out something bigger". Lather, Rinse, Repeat.
Don't worry Nux and Briggo, it will get better.....EVENTUALLY. But in all seriousness I hope you both can continue this. I always love watching my fellow Yu-GI-Oh! fans having fun with this game after all these years. Remember to trust in the Heart of the Cards, my dudes!!!!!

I just got back in the Yu-Gi-Oh a few days ago and this could not have come at a better time
I have to admit in some ways this will be more entertaining to watch than Cimo's progression series because these 2 are less experienced and might not always make the best choices. I can guarantee one thing though this will be fun to watch.
I kinda get the feeling that Nux isn't unexperienced. And I'm still impressed about this madlad math-talent.

Idk what kind of rules you guys are going to do, but field spells don't destroy each other anymore (but also in old ass yugioh like what you're playing now the player who goes first gets to draw for turn still). Either way, looking forward to seeing you guys have fun with this
25:18 Fun Fact: playing a field spell while your opponent has one active no longer gets rid of their field spell - instead both are active on the field and you apply both effects!
If they're doing like Cimooo's progression series then they'll use the rules of the time period but then they should also draw a card going first.

Congrats my friend, Modern YGO has a deck for you! Dragon Link is a wild brand of cards that shouldn't work together but do, with one goal: Use LOTS OF DRAGONS to create huge combos and be the biggest lads in the room the fastest
And then win, modern YGO is very fast, and games often can end in only a few rounds

I'm also a fan of the progression series and it's so cool you're also embraking on this journey
I'm sure many ygo nerds will mention this but 1st player does draw at the start of the game. This rule change does not happen up until like July 2014 which doesn't have any major sets outside of starter decks but it majorly affects the set afterwards, Duelist Alliance. This also introduces the rule of both players controlling a field spell and all that jazz.

To be honest if you start watching the Anime, it will take you a looooong time to understand the game, because it changes so much over the years. But gladly they started with old school decks. :-D

You don't put fusion cards in your normal deck, they go in the extra deck, so you don't draw it.
You need polymerization, plus the materials needed.
THEN the Flame Swordsman will come out.

If at all possible I’d love to see guest Duelists come on every once in a while; like the Moist God of Cards Cr1tikal, or Tekking could finally bust out the Great Moth deck.

Btw a little reminder - you did everything in your Draw Phase.
You can actually click the buttons on the game to change phases - main 1 - battle phase - Ets.
You don't actually have to play in Draw Phase and End Phase only
So you're doing your own version of Cimo's progression series? That's pretty hype. Also each player can have a field spell now. Back in the day you could only have 1 on the field and if the other player played a field spell yours would die but now that's not the case.
I never was into playing back in the day, but I get the feeling that now I'm totally lost.
I may not be able to recolonize any of the cards released in the last decade or so, but I definitely remember every single one of those... brings back a lot of memories. ^_^
