I totally agree because Carrie is simple way better than Gretchen. If you put Carrie vs Gretchen head to head, Carrie wins that in a landslide.
Hillary Scott of Lady A passed on "Jesus Take The Wheel" and I think Hillary said it was a sappy song. But when Carrie sings it, it sure isn't a sappy song. Of course, when it comes to vocal power, it is a no contest, Carrie leaves Hillary in the dust.

I notice during this interview, it doesn't bother Carrie to do the interview. It just that she is a little embarrassed about listening to herself. And everybody watching her, while it is playing.

What makes Carrie so good, is the fact that she doesn't think she is that good. And when someone tells Carrie she is that good, she is totally embarrassed by it. Like when Reba or Dolly tell her she is that good, you can tell how embarrassed she is.

Why does Carrie have to justify anything like prank. Every artist does it on last day of the tour. LBT said Carrie pulled it off very well. They were even laughing about it, when it was over.

Odd part is that Carrie changed labels after Storyteller came out. Carrie again shocked the music world as whole. Arista owned American Idol, which is why Carrie was with them, Carrie had no choice. Sony bought Arista out and Carrie fulfill her contract with Sony, it was a five album deal, Storyteller was no. 5. Then Carrie shocked everybody by signing with UMG in Nashville and Carrie got what she wanted a chance to co-produce.
