Am just seeing these interviews of the Chief now. But, the BBC was lucky to have him be interviewed. Chief is a "brilliant singer/songwriter" I believe that's why we all Love his Music.
Eric is an original, authentic artist and anyone who can't appreciate that need not comment. Rave on, Eric. Thank you for doing the interview and allowing your fans a closer look at who you are. You are a brilliant, gifted writer and musician and a blessing to all of us . Thank You!
Eric, you’re a down to earth guy with such a beautiful gift of writing songs people can all feel deep down inside. How you’re different from others makes you uniquely you, and how you write about being different resonates with me. I’ve always been different from everyone, and living my authentic life to my own drum. What a great interview. Thanks for being your authentic self Brother. I totally respect that !!! ✨🙏🏼🤟🏽💕
Had the pleasure of meeting Eric a few times now, as well as some of his managment team, one of which is a good firend of mine. Great guy, I'm the only look-a-like in the UK as far as I know that's also in a BCMA/UKCMA award-nomintaed Country Band :)
Dude man, my son's daddy and I were together when this came out and every time I hear this all I hear is " Holstein ". Explanation:: Joe told me when we were riding down the road one afternoon that he had a dream about a bunch of cows Holstein no less and Eric Church was singing the soundtrack!! LOL
I LIKE most of his songs too. Growing up in Alabama, I was around country music all my life, but didn't really like it much as a teenager. My step dad played in a country music band.As a teenager I listened to mostly rock bands like U2 and Bon Jovi, but as I got older I started liking country music more.
The song "How Bout You" may be a more male related song but it really calls to me. My parents have taught me to not let anyone push me around and to stay true to my roots.
these audience are so silent I swear most of them haven't listened to his name for once before the interview. I would pass out if I ever have a chance to see him in front of me talking like this.
I love this interview but it's very disappointing to see all the "fans" who don't sing along to the songs because they don't know the words. We need to have this do over interview in The USA where his true, loyal fans are.
You have to consider the age group of the crowd they're pitching to. Even though Eric's music cover's a wide age group his most loyal fans will follow into the 18-50 age group. There are some listeners beyond that but check out who's buying tickets and going to the concerts. Check out the age group of this audience.
What a terrible interview. The interviewer got a number of song titles wrong, the audience seemed comatose, and for some strange reason Eric didn't leave. I am all for spreading good music and great artists, but this highlighted how Europeans don't quite get North American music.
Man if I'd had the Greatest CHANCE of a lifetime to sit in that audience there'd be a total DISRUPTION and man the crowd participation would be at A all time HIGH. THOSE people need to loosen up and have a DANG Good Time. For GOD sakes it's ERIC CHURCH show some enthusiasm!!
I know for a fact that some get it. Country isnt overly popular outside of the US and Canada...You have to remember about the brits... maybe a little less there in Scotland, but overwhelmingly for all the UK... They dont get excited unless its sports and or they are a few pints in. They are a very reserved people. They do not have that north american (perhaps just american) sense of enthusiasm. I am married to a brit and even after all these year she still rolls her eyes when i get excited about something
I think in the UK, most people who listen to country music are older (like the people in this audience) so they may not be as loud/excited as younger fans would be, like I would be! I'm 20 and live in Scotland and I'm the only person my age (that I've met) that listens to country!

Eric Church kicks butt. Jeremy Johnson from Wilmington Delaware
Oh my god I felt so bad for Eric in that interview. the British just make things soooo awkward.
Joseph Drew It's Scotland.
Joseph Drew maybe they just wanted to be quiet and hear what he had to say,After all it was an interview not a concert.
Exactly, who claps after a song instead of singing along!
13:20 The song is called "Love Your Love The Most" Fact checker needed!

He speaks for so many people! Eric is "Bone Deep Cool"!
superb
This interview was painfully awkward. I feel as if the people in the audience don't appreciate him or his music.
I would almost die to sing and write with you..

Just trying to figure out if upchurch sounds like eric church or the other way around
Glad they sang along...lol
The "old" folks there clearly had no love for the music. The younger ones got it, though.
Will you do a duo with me 1 day
Catch up with jefffoxworthy etc
The outside
omg, get rid of those microphones
I'm guessing he's pretty quiet.
he is embarrassed the whole time
Man you can tell there some where else look at there teeth

There’s something about Eric Church that screams sore loser
