Wildcard my man you don't miss a trick I am with you on your analysis, the Australian side is in trouble the championship is gonna be a long road for them . Positive side of it all we should get alot more rants and no one does it better mate👏🎯
Weather was pretty crazy. You are in building stages at the moment, hoping to see Australia back in the top 3 soon. We (Boks) were in a similar situation before the 2019 world cup, just hoping that it doesnt take too long for Aus, home world cup and lions tour soon.
I read a comment with the observation that the Welcome to the country ceremony lasted longer than the time the Wallabies held onto the ball. I am wondering if taking out the front rows and brought on extra locks might have hurt their line out defence as you'd expect front rows to provide power in that department so you might have gone uncontested in the scrum but it bites you in other areas.
Was at the game. Boks did it in a canter. The weather helped us hold on until later in the second half. Besides the poor chip kicks from Aus, we were schooled in all facets of the game. The gulf between the Wallabies and a Tier 1 team like the Bokke is massive. It’s been a slow motion car crash since 2003 World Cup. Nothing to cheer about anymore
Started over from what? Isn't like they had prime players over the past 8yrs. They never win anything including rugby championship over 10yrs least I can count. New zealand we understand they had great players who retired not ausi

All the best in Argentina
As a Bok Supporter who also has a great love for good rugby I have to be honest when I say that I really do miss a strong Wallaby team. NZ plays there way & so do we the Boks and so the Roses...the French etc etc. And a Strong Wallaby Team played their Own Very Impressive technical, phased control & brilliant finishing... that's currently No where...and that is a Miss for World Rugby as a whole
Always love your thoughts, Wilkard, and I'm South African. Don't despair. Yes, Aussie rugby's in a slump, but everyone has those. They'll be back in due course.
I’m not being a gloating South African dickhead, not least because next thing we get beaten by Japan again or something, but I can’t resist a little observation… I really enjoyed that new cross-kick combination the Wallabies used at least twice - Lolesio and Mapimpi 😆 Worked a treat! Sorry, mate ;) Commiserations too. We know what it’s like - the dark years before Rassie arrived. I know it’s a cliche, but young team, still building. Give them a year or two. Meanwhile, keep the videos coming. Your boys will come good 👊

100 percent right they cheated with uncontested scrums, right after Boks make subs then all of sudden injuries hit . Very disappointing from them, that’s not the way to improve.
Love your work! I agree we don’t have the talent, not at the same level as our opposition. On -field decision making and tactical leadership on field is lacking . The game plan was probably set but when it doenst work you need to change on the fly not wait for your coach, you also need to recognise when your not executing and just change direction. It never happens, our players have to wait to go back to the locker room to be told what to do.
I hope Australian rugby would regain it's former glory, but Michael Lynagh is not coming back, David Campese is not coming back, Stephen Larkham is not coming back, George Gregan is not coming back. Man I miss those days.
Thanks for the content, kak funny as ever. The Bokke were pretty methodical, their defence was great if not borderline superb but way too many handling and unforced errors. They looked better in the second half when the bench came on and dominated from then on. The Wallabies whilst not terrible were overall disappointing. Forwards were meh, their defence was lacking and I'm not convinced that crossfield kicking game did them any favours when more practice sessions on the basic skills like maul defence would have paid bigger dividends.. Are they on the road to recovery? I hope so but I'm not sure. There are a couple of good signs sunce the Eddie Jones days but watching them against the world number one side probably isnt the best time to judge them.
The uncontested scrum was very annoying. Felt that gave Australia a huge life line considering the power coming off the bench, I think the score would have been a bit higher than it ended. But it is what it is, and I enjoyed watching the game regardless.
South African supporter and converted to Australian citizenship. I subscribed here just. I’m on holiday from Singapore, so the channel popped up. Love it, so refreshing. . I’ll be waiting for this man to say good things again about the wallabies. They’ll come back when the Rugby Aus board gets replaced .
Auz really need to take a trick out the old JW playbook, like when he got Os du Randt back out of retirement. The Wallabies are in dire need of senior leadership to lift up the team and pass on experience. At 32 still Hooper should be their priority.
Great win in the rain and it was evident that some young players need to play in rain more and get experience. Lucky the senior players coming on in the 2nd half made it look like rugby again. Johan Grobbelaar is a small guy with a big heart and will become better. Marco v Staden, sorry, he never looks like the best 6. There are better players. Elrigh Louw, no, not a 8 and he should be a 6 or 7. Even in the URC games he looked more like a flanker. Sacha is the future but in the rain he was a little lost. Against the AB's Pollard should start as he is seen as the number 1 flyhalf in world rugby currently.
Thoughts: Lolesio was not good, nor was White - I would be starting Lynah and McDermott as my 10/9 combo. Also I would have Lonergan as my sub. Also please can we drop Donaldson. WTF was with us constantly going for cross kicks?? Kicking - i'd like to see some long straight drives along the ground to counter the rushed defence. I agree with you, Hodgeman or Kailea would have been good with Nonggorr. Maybe bring Uru and Hooper on earlier. We're hurting without MrReight & Wright and players like Petaia with injuries. I feel sorry for Valentini, he needs a win. Best take away from this game: Angus Bell played well for someone coming back from injury. Koroibete was good, great to have someone built like a cannon ball charging in blindly. Blyth was good. Wilsons doing great. I was very confused about our substitutions.. Schmidt has a crazy hard job ahead of him.
mate we have to let the younger players play ahead of slipper, lolesio for me he just doesnt look like his trying out there... yes his goal kicking is decent but that just seemed to be all he does. the cross field kicks were just awful. and i agree koroibete was a great addition to our team.
Starting Lynah and Mcdermott for 10/9 need forward depth urgently stop with the uncontested scrums. This is rugby, not league shameful on our beautiful game. (AB fan)
In Australia rugby just cant compete with the other codes. I can see things getting worse if not fixed at grassroots level. Get those Saffas in Perth-fontein and Brisbane-burg to start playing rugby. The Lions tour will be a shambles, I predict they will register 50+ points against Australia in all three tests.
Love your passion! But don't be so hard on your guys... As a springbok fan I feel for those boys. We been at the lowest of lows 2 years before the 2019 RWC. This feels like you're going through the same we did with Alistair Coetzee but Joe is a better coach, just hope the higher ups start getting things right. It will get better we hope.
Aus is a great country, maybe ask Grey Bloem HS to open up a branch in Perthfontein. Next strategy is to open up a traditional SA butcher with about 20 different types of meat on offer and get a import license for Klippies brandewyn. Next step use the local SA population to enjoy these benefits and let them thrive, the results will come. Or maybe its because we always on edge due to corruption and high crime rate we tend to perform under spreasure, shit now I'm not sure if the first plan will work.
We already have South African butchers here in Perthfontein! We could really use some Saffa expats to help out the poor state of rugby here, but they refuse to support anyone but the bokke 😂

Positive side of it all we should get alot more rants and no one does it better mate👏🎯
thanks for watching mate appreciated the back up!
Well said mate , well said.!
All valid points.
The rain splattered camera work erked me as well.

Thanks Wildkard, great vid. Hope the Aussies can work something out.

And if you were annoyed by the camera… being at the game they showed no replays of any of the major reffing decisions. It was so frustrating!
oh wow, that is just utter fail and awful, my god...
It was the same on TV. Never showed replays of some dodgy calls, especially at scrum time.
WOKE
Wildkard, we Saffas know how this feels. We've been there for a few years. It sucks. I hope for your sake the tide changes.
I remember when SA were shit. We completely understand the frustration and anger
Weather was pretty crazy.
You are in building stages at the moment, hoping to see Australia back in the top 3 soon. We (Boks) were in a similar situation before the 2019 world cup, just hoping that it doesnt take too long for Aus, home world cup and lions tour soon.
no chance mate, we cant buy props from rugby league
@@Wildkardsorry bru 😢, we can only hope.
I read a comment with the observation that the Welcome to the country ceremony lasted longer than the time the Wallabies held onto the ball.
I am wondering if taking out the front rows and brought on extra locks might have hurt their line out defence as you'd expect front rows to provide power in that department so you might have gone uncontested in the scrum but it bites you in other areas.
nah might it was pretty garbage defense in the 1st half with van stadden try.
Absolutely love your rants bro! And yeah, those uncontested scrums were suspect and frustrating.
@@CorneErasmus-gz6hc 👍👍👍
Was at the game. Boks did it in a canter. The weather helped us hold on until later in the second half.
Besides the poor chip kicks from Aus, we were schooled in all facets of the game.
The gulf between the Wallabies and a Tier 1 team like the Bokke is massive.
It’s been a slow motion car crash since 2003 World Cup.
Nothing to cheer about anymore
mate its going to be a car off a cliff after 2027 we are still loosing money fast
Great podcast "Wildekaart" you are really good at this. Hope the Wallabies improve. From SA.
Good channel, good presentation
Great analysis of the rugby game, love your content. Australia need to rebuild a proper team
Chin up mate, Rugby is all about cycles ,We are at the peak of ours, Wallabies just starting over again, your time will come.
mate i dont know how we are going to get props from rugby league
Started over from what? Isn't like they had prime players over the past 8yrs. They never win anything including rugby championship over 10yrs least I can count. New zealand we understand they had great players who retired not ausi
@@Wildkard I Dont know how the prop stocks are looking but hopefully some youngsters to start developing quickly , And Tupoe to return soon hopefully.
I liked how Koroibete, Uru , Salakai-Loto and Tom Wright played
I hope Australia doesnt keep playing games "not to lose" safely taking 3 points where they can, but rather have a solid pack with mongrol and let the backs have a crack let them have the freedom to express themselves . All the best in Argentina
@@seloaneronald2462 Started over from the train wreck that was Eddie Jones with a proper coach this time
Aus Union is in trouble (As a Saffa I actually hate this fact).. Aussie Rules and League rules Australia. I miss powerful Aus Union rugby..

So entertaining. Can't wait for the ABs and Bokke clash. Let's hope there's no rain.

Not Injuries. HIA. Need a prop to have contested scrums

As we say here in Saffa....shame man...
@@joshh6395 100% mate... this is all due to a lack of development from rugby australia starting from super rugby.
Noah is not good enough for world level.
I hope Australian rugby would regain it's former glory, but Michael Lynagh is not coming back, David Campese is not coming back, Stephen Larkham is not coming back, George Gregan is not coming back.
Man I miss those days.
those players cant save our massive scrum and forwards problems
Thanks for the content, kak funny as ever.
The Bokke were pretty methodical, their defence was great if not borderline superb but way too many handling and unforced errors. They looked better in the second half when the bench came on and dominated from then on.
The Wallabies whilst not terrible were overall disappointing. Forwards were meh, their defence was lacking and I'm not convinced that crossfield kicking game did them any favours when more practice sessions on the basic skills like maul defence would have paid bigger dividends..
Are they on the road to recovery? I hope so but I'm not sure. There are a couple of good signs sunce the Eddie Jones days but watching them against the world number one side probably isnt the best time to judge them.
considering wallabies lost to the boks b team quite convincingly thats a really bad sign
The uncontested scrum was very annoying. Felt that gave Australia a huge life line considering the power coming off the bench, I think the score would have been a bit higher than it ended. But it is what it is, and I enjoyed watching the game regardless.
yup and it was just really poor look for the game
Australia will come back. 2015 to 2018 seemed like there was no hope for my Boks. Australia will once again be one of the dominant teams.
not likely its off a cliff at this point
Love your passion, mate.
We need Australia to become a force again, as much as I am not an Ausie fan.
cheers very unlikey at this point
South African supporter and converted to Australian citizenship. I subscribed here just. I’m on holiday from Singapore, so the channel popped up. Love it, so refreshing. . I’ll be waiting for this man to say good things again about the wallabies. They’ll come back when the Rugby Aus board gets replaced .
thanks for the sub mate! and i hope you have converted the green and gold jersey for the gold and green!
Auz really need to take a trick out the old JW playbook, like when he got Os du Randt back out of retirement. The Wallabies are in dire need of senior leadership to lift up the team and pass on experience. At 32 still Hooper should be their priority.
yeah i really wish hooper would come back and play again cos we need some leadership
Love the commentry keep it coming
I thought i'm the only one to see things thanks Wildcard for bringing out the truth 👍👍
@@MarcellePotberg cheers mate
Great win in the rain and it was evident that some young players need to play in rain more and get experience. Lucky the senior players coming on in the 2nd half made it look like rugby again. Johan Grobbelaar is a small guy with a big heart and will become better. Marco v Staden, sorry, he never looks like the best 6. There are better players. Elrigh Louw, no, not a 8 and he should be a 6 or 7. Even in the URC games he looked more like a flanker. Sacha is the future but in the rain he was a little lost. Against the AB's Pollard should start as he is seen as the number 1 flyhalf in world rugby currently.
sacha looked lost cos willie le roux wasnt there, it showed how good le roux and important he was
Thoughts:
Lolesio was not good, nor was White - I would be starting Lynah and McDermott as my 10/9 combo.
(AB fan)
I understand your frustration admire your honesty you are truly an ardent aus rugby fan after every down there's an up its coming S A supporter
very unlikely as rugby australia is clueless
This guy rugby IQ always tops...keep up the good work
Wildkard passionate as always! Love it
In Australia rugby just cant compete with the other codes.
We have had a lot of talent, a lot of practice and a lot of luck. As Gary Player would say.. the more we practice, the luckier we get...
Your team will turn it around, man.

@Wildkard Yeah, that can be a huge problem. Can the coaches and clubs not put pressure on them?

As a massive Bok fan, i actually was rooting you guys at half time. We need a strong Australian side for rugbys future.
haha thanks for supporting the wallabies mate
Aus is a great country, maybe ask Grey Bloem HS to open up a branch in Perthfontein. Next strategy is to open up a traditional SA butcher with about 20 different types of meat on offer and get a import license for Klippies brandewyn. Next step use the local SA population to enjoy these benefits and let them thrive, the results will come. Or maybe its because we always on edge due to corruption and high crime rate we tend to perform under spreasure, shit now I'm not sure if the first plan will work.
We already have South African butchers here in Perthfontein!
We could really use some Saffa expats to help out the poor state of rugby here, but they refuse to support anyone but the bokke 😂
yes we need to confiscate their boks jerseys at the boarder!
