WOAH. just after listening to PINK SCARF story, i realised that superfast production and supply must be killing the environment and Aevy actually explained it later. nicely researched and thanks for not sugar coating it just because it is a TATA business. Kudos to Aevy for their truly consistent journalism.

The first time I entered a ZARA store I thought who wears these car covers? Turned out, a lot of people! Their S size will fit an elephant and her child together and will still have some room left. When I asked about a 32 size jeans, the way they looked at me like I was from another planet! Supposedly, super oversized apparels are current fashion trend. I don't know. If I ever need a curtain that will double down as a blanket, a grocery bag, a bedsheet, and a 50 inch tv cover I will visit their store again and buy a tshirt there.

I hadn't been to a Zara store all these years cause their style seemed a bit too fashion forward to me. Anyway, I visited 3 Zara stores this year. One is literally an entire building near flora fountain, Mumbai. But there were only 2-3 staff on the entire floor. And they were all just acting busy but not really attending anyone.
Same with the other 2 outlets in malls. One would be lucky if they could get hold of a staff.

The technology part is something that all companies use.
Zara doesn’t succeed because of this they succeed because of the material.
The designs and material is the same as what premium brands use but the difference is premium brands sell at 20x the cost of manufacturing the clothes whereas Zara charges 5x this makes customers get premium feel for clothes and get value.
Value addition is the only reason for Zara to succeed.
H&M,primark don’t use premium material which is why they have 40% wastage.
Zara has 10% wastage which makes them more profitable.

Zara has another section which are pricier and long lasting quality , but forms a small part of their inventory. TBH, any clothes these days irrespective of their brands are not meant to last. Unless, one is able to shell out good money for it.

With all due respect, Zara is not a luxury brand. Indians and other people in Asia may consider it to be a luxury brand but the reality is, it is just a low quality fast fashion brand who copy the designs of real luxury brands and mass produce it at lower prices. Zudio is a ripoff of Zara. Funnily enough Westside, Zudio and Zara are run by Tata.

Zara is for people who think they are incomplete/insecure about their personality. I don't think its good that our youth following fashion just to show.

Dear mam it is important to see the graph instead than you face to understand properly.
I know that you have a very good communication skill and you don't have to prove it when you are giving your graph data and face simultaneously because it hard to see the graph...

    Sab moh maya hai🍀
    Be Minimalist, Save Earth
Stop wasting money and planet's precious resources on this bs modern human culture 'fashion'. Doomsday is nearly here.
Even after studying so much u people are destroying everything with ur greed and insatiable consumerism.
That's why I hate capitalism so much.
Khudi ke hatho khud hi ki lanka lagai ja rahi hai😂... stupidity at it's peak.
That guy Thanos have my utmost respect ✊.
I really don't understand why would people want to buy these many clothes on daily basis...and here I am struggling to be able to read a goddamn book for maths and science because of the high import costs😢.
I literally spent my last two years with two pairs of jeans and pajamas, a pair of T-SHIRT and shirt with a pair cheap shoes(₹350; it's almost their third anniversary😅) and a sleeper (₹140).
Like I am genuinely so devastated with these fellow humans buying so much expensive stuff without any ounce of hesitation 😬...my finance and accountant studying ass as a college major could never.

I was never interested in fast fashion and never will, i don't understand how in one's sane mind people think something like this is fashion. i feel bad whenever i see someone spending thousands on a garbage looking cloth, while there are someone out there dying due cold cause of unavailability of cloth. I do get it that its their money, but still how can one throw money that easily just for show off. Maybe i'm just not cut out for it

Zara is actually not premium, I don't know why their prices are so high in India but it's actually the Zudio of the west. Zudio actually copied their model.

Its not the fault of the brand, its the people who buy these things at ridiculous price just to show off or get validation from others
The brand is just focusing on its profit like every other business 🤷
