I am actually considering starting to configure myself to do just that, in London it's the third day, not sunny,, but not raining with raging winds since November 2023. And I am saying November because I was in Italy until then. 🤣
The cypriot way of life is fast fading because of these type of immigrants. Why on earth is a gated community required. It's only a decade ago that doors were left open.
Things are changing. Cyprus is getting bigger and more crowded, and there are problems with the neighbours. Of course, it will never be the same again, and this also impacts security. But it is still a lovely and pretty safe place compared to many other places in the world and Europe.
Great presentation and right questions to ask which they are common question for everyone . Excellent .how about Canadian? I’m Canadian and love to retire somewhere close to turkey ad Greece .
Depends, here in Larnaca it went up to 44 degrees Celsius and 37 - 39 seemed more the norm for certain time periods. I think it is still no big problem though, since there is often a nice wind, that makes it very bearable. And it is generally not a good idea to go outside between morning and evening during the peak hot months, with an UV index of 11 -12. At least if you are young and no fan of rapid skin aging, or old and have cardio vascular issues. The mornings and evenings are perfect, though. So you can just do nice things and schedule your work for the mid of the day when you are inside.
30 years ago I would have agreed with you, but today NO. Sadly the Island has been bought by the Russians. Today I rate Malta a better option. Both countries have similar climates, both have English widely spoken and both are EU members. Living costs are similar as well. But for me the Russian influence is the decider.
Lived in Peyia from 1999-2010 came back to the UK because the whole nature of Cyprus living change when they joined the EU. Then the Euro was introduced and prices started to rise and quality started to fall. Have visited since 2010 on many occasions and my opinion has not changed.
Stay in the UK then.Have you seen the state of the UK,today?I left the UK 23 years ago and have not regretted it for a moment. My choice was Larnaca Which is taking off now.Have a beautiful home near the beach and it's very central. My wish and hope is that there is a peace settlement on the island. If that happens Cyprus will be an absolute paradise.
Cyprus can offer you a better way of life than the UK but other med countries such as Spain and Portugal offer a much better product than Cyprus which at the end of the day is just a barren rock next to a war zone 😂
My brother moved to Limassol from London 5 years ago but wants to come back, it’s too pricey, the summers are unbearably hot and there are ruskies everywhere- he can’t stand the place…
what about the issues with title deeds? I see lots of x pats with this problem, they have paid for their property but no title deeds?\When they take the issue to court then the companys go bust and then the land owners say then they say that there are no titles deeds? Building work can be substandard and builders taking advantage of people and raising prices compared to locals. Its a wonderful island and the people are very nice but there is a feeling from some lcals that they say they hate the tourists coming. Why is this?
@kevdog5043 Sri Lanka Sea temp is a steady 29c. I went there in 2002 and visited the places where Duran Duran shot the pop videos for Rio. It's unbelievable.
I bought in Ayia Napa in 1991 and loved living there. I sold and moved out because of government corruption. It has got to a point where I expect Vladimir Putin to move in soon as he controls the government and will avoid extradiition to anywhere.
Cyprus os a sage heaven for Syrian, afhanistani, and African refugees. They provide Medi-Cal insurance, housing and money for the refugges, more than 100000 and is growing. Arabic food and Halal markets fpr the Muslims evdywhere
Its paradise no longer! When I came 30 years ago it was great, now there are many problems! The cost of living is a nightmare, rents in Limassol have trebled, low salaries, locals can't survive, too much immigration, too much Russian influence and the sense of community has almost gone. Too much greed and love of money! After 30 years I want out!
Hi Terry, well it doesn't have to be London, does it? Many nice places still in UK and it doesn't even have to be UK! However, unfortunately I am tied here for now!@@terrywalker2663

Moving there in 2 weeks 😁

Without air conditioner the heat isn't bearable at all.

Your videos from Cyprus are amazing.
Thanks 🙏 I love the island and will continue to film there.
Philippines..cheap,easy visa,friendly people ,fantastic beaches…and English is spoken…

It depends what you are looking for.
From Arizona, USA and just subscribed 🥰
Thanks for watching!
This video is Excellent (with a capital E). Bravo.
Thank you!
A bit too close to Siria, lebanon and Israel at the moment....plus already too expensive. It s already too late for cyprus

What is the average cost of a villa there in Cypress and do you have any contacts of realtors?
Let’s say €500,000+ Text me and I will put you in contact with trusted realtor. My contacts are in the video description.
Dude it's way less than 500k.
Great content, well done
Thank you 🙏

carefully select the builders and the properties, a thorough assessment is always helpful.
yes never marrie its true hell today. never again. family and children no thanks i only care for myself now
What is Cyprus like at Christmas? I'm thinking of going, so need to know.
Please come this Christmas, enjoy it and if you like it, stay longer.
It’s good.
Cyprus is just a barren rock, and it's getting too expensive with workers demanding ever higher wages. Sri Lanka beats it hands down. Sorry.
Yes Cyprus doesn’t have much going for it - we enjoyed the warm sea when visiting but not much else

This is very accurate- my brother lives there and had all these complaints plus the unbearable heat
Cannot compare far east with Cyprus
The eu has ruined a once paradise, when the British forces leave it will be contested by Turkey and greece!😯😯😯😯
the problem that cyprus faces is because of unlegal immigrants
The illegal ones too!
To many Africans there now
It is a common problem with immigration in the EU.
Too many British here as well.
Cyprus has a mountain of problems - avoid at all costs!
kind of close to war zones
"Gated" for me equals boring and divorced from reality
Very high house robbing crime
Malta is English speaking
You already said that!
