Booster Gold, a fame-seeking hero from the future, is frustrated by his lack of recognition within the Justice League. Despite his desire for glory, he's constantly sidelined, mistaken for Green Lantern, and assigned menial tasks.
When a black hole accident at S.T.A.R. Labs threatens the city, Booster seizes the opportunity to prove himself. Despite numerous setbacks, including almost being crushed and losing his sidekick Skeets, Booster saves the day by stopping the black hole. However, his efforts go unnoticed by the Justice League, and he remains disheartened, unsure if he'll ever achieve the recognition he desperately craves.
