Thanks, my HDD.is WD.my pasport. with out formatting you can't use it ? i installed Paragon exFAT NTFS... and total commander. could mount it.but so many icons are piling up.as i am not an expert iam confused. only 2 things I want to do
1. move files from phone to hdd.
2. after that I want to read it as and when I need.
if I can do it without formatting great.

+Jameskutty Thomas in portable HDD ...They use their own branding on file system...so it only works on Windows...(ie...if it is Seagate means they made that whole partition as Seagate software+NTFS) for instance .. take backup of you files...and then format whole disk to NTFS...After that it works...try and tell me...and thanks for your question it may help some one...again thanks...

MX player works well poonam. Or Else, still you are facing that forward and backward issue with some videoplayers, then play that video in Chrome ( like open with application > Chrome) . My suggestion Copy that video to internel memory and then try!

bro, it just enables the NTFS read mode on your mobile...It does not work while writing a file on NTFS...So...do that just try our stick mount that may work...just made a try ...and tell the result

you need to download file in internal memory, and then by using the method , toy can move the file to the external SD Card, you can't directly download to external SD.. thanks for you comment😊

If you converted your SD to NTFS means, it doesn't work in your phone. But, you can use in PC also it allows the files more than 4GB. just click format>select NTFS > ok. You are converted to NTFS. to revert back Fat32. Format > select FAT32 >Ok. That's all

First make sure your HDD is in the FAT 32

If it is ext2 NFS+ and some other means it won't work...
