Excavations are a bit meh some says to do 1 by 1 some says to always mass excavate, the only thing true about excavations it that at the tenth excavation a purple is guaranteed, I have heard of ways to optimize it but they both feel like superstitious methods but seems to also make some sense: -Excavate 1by1 until you get a purple them mass excavate; -Excavate 1by1 up to 9 times then mass excavate. -Only do 1by1 as each excavation has a chance for purple; -Just to mass as it's the same as 1by1 but quicker. The gist is always spend at least 10 for the "pity" system, also it's more important what sites to excavate as some sites don't drop certain stuff, like breakthrough doesn't drop in melee sites, I personally suggested saving for when the desired paradox doctrine site is available
Remember: The are drop tables depend on the range of the tempering value and, I think that the drop rate of each bracket are slightly skewed depending on how close you are to the next bracket, closer means the chance will be skewed toward s the higher stuff of the table but, you should stick to the lowest value of the bracket as it's way cheaper in terms of materials, the ranges are: 16-39, 40-59, 60-99, 100-149, 150-199, 200-299, 300-399, 400-1199 and 1200. White has a value of 2, green 5, blue 10, purple 50, pure wisdom triples the value, it's suggested to never use blue/purple wisdoms/docs or the pure wisdoms if the tempering value will exceed the 5000 of the "pity bar" because the tempering value effects will be wasted since, reaching 5000 in the bar already guarantes a lv5 purple doc so, to fill tbe last values towards 5000, greens wisdoms/docs should be used as they are the easiest/cheapest to obtain. The most notable tempering values are: 1200, this value is possible only with full purple and a pure wisdom, some will argue it's the only correct use for the pure wisdoms because using pure wisdom without having full purple will at best is be same as having 400 tempering value aka full purple; 100-149, the only bracket to have the chance to drop 2 purple wisdoms, and if you don't get them, it will drop a purple doc between lv1 and 3, if you use a perfect 100 tempering value, aka 4 green 3 blue and 1 purple, it's also the cheapest way to guarantee a purple result and if the result is 2 purple wisdoms, it's also a perfect conversion of tempering value because you put a mixed of 100 in and 100 came out as 2 purple wisdoms; 16-39, possible only if you mostly use white docs, the only reliable way to get blue wisdom/docs, you can get a purple wisdoms as "rare" reward with abysmal chances of a lv1 purple doc; 150-199 arguably the worst tempering value unless you really want purple docs and try nail the 150 value, otherwise spend 1 extra purple to go above 200 so you eliminate the chance for the subpar lv1 purple doc. Technically speaking you should only use purples for the full purple and wisdom combo but if you have to spare, the cheapest brackets for best chances are 400, 300, and 200, you should use purples to reach that value first them fill with greens, whites are better suited for converting to blue and blue are better suited to farm for purple with the 100 tempering value, as it's impossible to lose the purple and has a high chance to gain 1 instead
You do realize, you can open 1 by 1, and every 10th will guarantee a epic doc, and benefit being you can be lucky, and get epic on 2nd roll. That means your "12th" roll will also be guaranteed epic. So saying "dont do 1 by 1" is terrible advice. Using only the 10-roll removes the controll over your "lucky rolls" that can give you epic doc on any roll, so if you have 40 treatise, and on your 36th you roll your 4th epic, then you can save those 4 treatise for next time.

I used 1 by 1 and got no purple .xDD. Im happy you get it though good for you. By 10 i mean if you wanna use it not have to copy it. For me works well you don't have to repeat it buddy.
@@DuckyNobu bro ur noob. U use em on 1 spot . Each 10th u get 1 purple. Its game mechanic. If u use different spots each starts to count till 10.so if u use 9at 3 spost and after that u get 1 purple after another from all 3 spots. That is only way to use more than 10 and not get purple.

Btw u can still get leadership doctorine from inf,ranged or cav doctrine excavation. I got one from cav and one from ranged.

I literally did what you said opening 12 treatise 1 by 1 and got no epic one. Maybe it's a luck thing??. That's why i said open 10 at the same time.
What happened to the 1 purple, 3 blues, 4 greens to get 2 purples to then go for all purples, is that no longer meta?
