    BOUGHT 🤪💰
Right out of the chute! I watched enough of the video to make ab-so-lute-ly certain this is what I hoped it was. Clicked over to Thunderstick, signed up, and nabbed one. Can’t wait to install it.
Now all I need is a GRS T/DoT stick 🙃

Id buy this immediately (i know this video is 4 months old lol) if the sensitivity would match the stock 1up - maybe glen can tell us what that setting wpuld be. Also if this kit came with the plastic adaptor. I know that this spinner is made for general non specific to 1up use but lets face it, everybody wants this on their 1up.

Is there a way to use the stock A1up Tron spinner top? I prefer the arcade style with the cool graphics. Also I do not own a 3D printer nor is there any place locally within 100 miles to take it to get 3D printed. Can you please make the A1up adapter available to purchase for customers using this exclusively for their A1up Tron?

Glen!! The only reason I haven’t bought this yet is because of the mounting hole adapter...I was hoping you would offer them at some point. Do you or anyone know someone who would produce one for sale?!!🙏

I agree most of us do not have a 3D printer.

Reviews on your site suggest it doesn't work for Arcade1UP as it needs to be configured and the only way to do that is with Windows when the spinner is plugged into a Windows PC. Any changes coming to address this?

You offer everything except the most important thing, the mounting hole adaptor for the A1UP control panel. You have to realized that most of us do not have a 3D printer. You should sell the hole adaptor.

I'm sure it'll show up for sale on Etsy with all the other 3D printed accessories for A1Up stuff.

I'll be getting a Street Fighter A1Up soon. My intention is to set it up with a Pi board and emulation so that I can load it up with games. I'd like to add a spinner and a trackball. And I'd like for them to be GRS units when I do. Is there a video you can recommend that would explain how to do something like this?

@Glen's Retro Show My A1up Tron spinner died. A1up is out of stock and waiting on the manufacturer to supply more. I understand your latest version works with the A1up cab but has some sensitivity issues. Is there any other options? I do not play discs of tron at all so I do not need the push / pull function. Do any older versions of your spinner work with the Tron cab just to get the main game working?

I have mine installed. Right now my spinner is too sensitive and it's tough to play with accuracy. I'm at 360 CPI. That's the lowest setting, right? can you recommend how to lower sensitivity? thanks!

I would like to know how to make the spinner light up like Glen has in his video. I have clear blue PLA mount for the spinner. Glen said he would make a lighting kit for this but to date nothing on T-sticks. Do you just use regular button LED bulbs daisy chained?

So to clarify, to use this with the A1Up I need this and an encoder board?

Glen, amazing job! Santa gave me this for Christmas and I can't wait to try it out. Question regarding using this in a standard Windows MAME cabinet: can I just use the black USB cable connected directly to the spinner like you demonstrate at the beginning of this video? I want to use this for DOT, Tempest, Zwackery, etc. Posting here in case others have the same question. Thanks!

Replying to my own comment here, so others can benefit from my findings. There are two push/pull spinner games that I am aware of: Discs of Tron and Zwackery (if there are more, please tell me). To configure those games in MAME, here are the pertinent controls. First, start up the game in MAME, then TAB->Input (This Machine):
      For Discs of Tron:
      1) Aim Down - press spinner down (should register something like Mouse 2 BO)
      2) Aim Up - lift the spinner (e.g. Mouse 2 B1)
      3) Dial Analog - spin the spinner (e.g. Mouse 2 X)
      For Zwackery:
      1) Spell Up: lift the spinner (e.g. Mouse 2 B1)
      2) Spell Down: press spinner down (e.g. Mouse 2 B0)
      3) Dial Analog: spin the spinner (e.g. Mouse 2 X)
You can also go into the general inputs and set the Dial Analog value so it works for all the other spinner games such as Tempest, etc.
I cannot emphasize how great this spinner is, it has heft and feels great, professional quality for an extremely reasonable price. You won't regret buying one!

I would like to use my Simpsons arcade one up to install retropie. Is it possible to have two six button controllers, two four button controllers and a trackball and spinner hooked to a raspberry pi?
If it is possible, can you point me in the right direction on how to make it happen? I'd like to use your trackball and spinner for the project

Another homerun! Love the adjustable resolution. To clarify, do you need an encoder board for push/pull functionality on a PC or just for Arcade1Up Tron? Did the original model need an encoder board too for PC use?

At this point no one needs to own a 3-D printer to get some thing 3-D printed. I googled my local area, and found that there are a number of service providers who will do a 3-D print job, some of which have a drag and drop feature on their website, that will give you a quote based on the STL file.

Why don't you include the plastic mounting bracket for Arcade1up cabs? That seems like the right thing to do, vs making people print their own. Not everyone has access to a 3D printer

I was so excited to clicked the video and hand over my money…until I heard I need a 3D printer. I even had to look up what STL meant.
This is proof there’s no perfect product. Some advice from a potential customer; don’t assume everyone has a 3D printer. Speaking for myself, I would of paid extra to have it included.
