Seems like a place called Yak & Yeti would have less generic "Asian" (which nachos definitely aren't) and more Indian-inspired foods, but what do I know. It's Disney. Everest is in Nepal and Tibet but the ride is styled after the Matterhorn in Europe.
My son and I ate here, in July of 2020(just when Disney reopened) I had the honey chicken it was ok, and my son had the Koreen Beef, and he enjoyed it. His Favorite was the Mango pie, he still talks about it!! Those nachos looked delicious!
We actually enjoy eating here too, we did wonder if to buy that card or not if it was value for money! Food looked delicious and we have had burgers there and fries and enjoyed most of the food 🥘 thx for sharing
I'm a Landry's Club member, and tried to get the next available table, which is supposed to be a perk at all Landry's restaurants. We've never had a problem with that at Disney at T-Rex or Rainforest (Disney Springs or AK locations), but at Yak & Yeti, we were told to come back in 6 hours! We'll be at Disney next month, and we have reservations this time thanks to calling the restaurant directly and making one. We couldn't get one through Disney. T-Rex, however, wouldn't let us do that when we called them. I tried their Kiwi Coconut margarita, and it was the bomb!! I didn't know if I'd like it since I was hesitant about having coconut in a drink, but it didn't have a strong flavor. I'd go back to Yak & Yeti just for that drink, but I'm curious to try their Yak Attack, Big Bamboo, or Kiwi Kimono
I think it is when and where you are seated at Yak & Yeti . One time we sat upstairs and it was not as crowded and we loved it. Sat downstairs when it was crowded and hated it to the thought of not eating there again. Sounds like you had a good time, for me I will pass fearing it will be like my bad experience time. Service was average, food was good, atmosphere bad the second time. I think with this restaurant, its a toss of chance when it will be good or bad.
Oops. I didn’t know about the nachos. I went to Y&Y and didn’t like it. I don’t remember what I got but I was wishing I had gone to Satuli Canteen. Maybe one day I will go to the bar and just get the nachos lol
Food is usually good here, but we've had mixed service and experiences so it's Not a go-to at AK for us. We usually go to Tusker House, especially since the full character experience is back. It's just the most consistent and did I mention the characters? (I may have a deep 😍 for them) 😉
@@AddictedtotheMouse No worries, thank you! I had it in March and it was amazing, I am hoping to get it again in October when we come back. :) Love your reviews! Would love to see a review of Artist Point sometime.
When i want a real review i come to you guys i just love u guys
Thank you 💙🤍💛

When we last spring, Y&Y turned out to be the hardest reservation to get…harder than BOG or Cinderella’s castle😳
The Landry’s card has come in handy so many times. LOVE those nachos!!!!
Rediscovered this place recently and have had nothing but great experiences.
Best restuarant in AK! I like the firecracker shrimp app and love the Honey Chicken!
Yak Attack is THE best drink at Y&Y! Try it next time. 😊
We love this restaurant! Great review!
Love to see when you have a new video up!! ✨ going to Disney next month for the first time, getting so excited!
Have an amazing time!!!!
Yak & Yeti is a must for me when I’m at AK!

The nachos were amazing! We were eyeballing the mango pie, but just didn’t have room

Good to know!!
I didn't realize that Yak & Yeti is a Landry's restaurant. Good to know!
My Siamese does the same thing. Pacing on your lap. Lol

Good point, you can’t enjoy your meal if the environment is bad

Its now just listed as "garlic noodles".
Great video, Would like to see you give the total price at the end for what the total meal cost was.
I just called a week ago and got a ressie directly through them
Nice!

Haha, yeah we love the characters, although we much preferred the food at Tuskegee House when it was the full buffet
The Kiwi Kimono is one of my favorite drinks on property. Did they still have the poke bowl on the special menu?
Interesting, we didn’t see one, but a picture of it is on their site 🤔

@@anneinwonderland9865 we did one already a couple months ago! You should check it out!
@@AddictedtotheMouse Ooh great! Don't know how I missed it!
not sure why he suggested lobster noodles...those have not reviewed well.
Lol, beats me. But those nachos!!!!
@@AddictedtotheMouse I have run of way to talk about those nachos
