I feel the problem with Seven Deadly Sins has always been that it’s nowhere near long enough. The commandments never get enough time to be seen as challenges for example
Yeah, the series suffers from a minimal amount of exposure for what should have been major characters.
Also reminder to what Piety is, it’s not literally turning your back, it’s running from a fight. We see in the past when King in Gloxinia’s body has his back turned to Piety it doesn’t work cause he isn’t running from the fight
That is true, so that makes Piety even less useful.
Well, he tried to escape but didn't escape in reality!
You know what, now that I think about, Repose was probably given the ability it has in order to provide an excuse for why Meliodas DIDN'T enter Assault Mode during his fight with the commandments.
Oh, and BTW, Melascula represents Faith by the fact that she is THE most loyal to the Demon King. Pretty much every other demon betrays the Demon King in some way (Galand and Grayroad included, but on a FAR lesser degree since their only crime was trying to run away). The only one to live and die faithful to the Demon King, the only one to die fighting for the Demon King, was Melascula (Normal demons obeyed out of fear, not loyalty. Chandler and Cusack were ultimately loyal to Meliodas and Zeldris and may not have known that the Demon King intended to take their master's bodies. The only other demons who were loyal to the end were the dead ones that we don't really get to see much of. Being Calmadios, Aranak, and Zeno).
Definitely agree though, it would have been cool if the 10 commandments all got special powers and abilities from their commandments.

I think this is more of a after they were sealed thing because before they were sealed they held up more vs the goddesses in the thing with king and Diane

I like the idea that since the dk is obsessed with control he’d rather have more top generals that are also weak enough that they can’t present a threat.
At the same time it wouldn’t have hurt to at least make the bottom tiers a little stronger
That's the thing, I see your point, and its even implied in the narrative with how the Demon King did the OD, but I'm leaning towards the extra power. If Prime Meliodas, a character who could slam all the Commandments at once was no threat to the King, he could have spared the lower extra juice.

As 1 it’s a form only attributed to high ranked demons and commandments have a unique/separate kind of indura from non commandments which leads a reader to think every commandment should at least be in the power tier where they could indura despite that not being the case
the commandments should have been calamaties and there relation to each respected commandment would be what people don't consider doing even if it would be more helpfull to do it

The curse remains with the corpse if he dies the curse will take an effect it’s only ineffective when it has no host
So one could vaporize him and be fine.

The comandements users powers is thier own other than the one ability of the commandment itself the commandments users can use the powers ,power level and transformation of the commandments bye taking it out of thier body and absorbed it like mael and yes they are just stored in the user and the user get one ability but they have to absorb it to used full power, bro you know alot obout sds but i know everything obout it so you must give me your contact and let me tell you obout sds and other animes and cartoons
