One of things I love The Walking Dead was the places that has some story behind it you have to piece…So just imagine what it be like if the main characters came across a house with multiple dead zombies with blunt trauma and the remains of a cross dressing cowboy made his final stand in the bathroom.
Stumbling through the woods, narrowly having evaded an attack from the undead that ravaged your convoy, you now run alone bereft of supplies. Stumbling on unarmed, cold, terrified and surrounded by the hungry almost frustrated moans of the unending hordes of flesh-eaters, you think this will be your final day... Until you hear the jovial yelling of an older man, seeming unaffected by the rigors and strife of the apocalypse. Eager for support, sanctuary and the prospect of another survivor's company you trudge through the underbrush to find the house of the one calling out; "HEY, HEY YOU!!" they shout, seeming to encourage you onwards... But emerging from the edge of the woods, you're greeted with a sight more ghastly even than the horrific assault on your previous teammates; an elderly man; clad in sheer transparent tights, matching black brassier and speedo topped off with a dripping soggy cowboy hat, wielding a bloody frying pan. A look of insane glee shimmers in their eyes as you watch them happily welcoming not you but the very undead into their home, smashing their brains and toes to strip the dead of their ragged clothing... You sink back into the undergrowth, choosing to brave the dark of night amidst the forest infested with the dead rather than spend a single moment inhabiting the utter insanity of the broken chaos that is the Hermit, the echoing shouts, "HEY! HEY YOU!" chasing you through the woods and into your nightmares forever after until your dying breath.
Well... short term survival in pz is easier when you don't leave starting base... the problem is when the electricity and water is cut off and your starting supply of food ends. Long term survival is really hard here because you have to start a farm on the roof and get something to collect rain.
It's out of his love for the lower and incapable people around him. Without Jim there would be so much more death and suffering. All he does is to protect us, even from ourselves
A massive tip for you Kevin, use spacebar when near the zombie that is on the ground. You will stomp them, it will help you safe durability on weapons.
Jim decided to let Kevin be free in the physical sense. But decades of being locked in Jim’s basement left Kevin with a desire to be trapped somewhere. That’s why he’s been putting himself through challenges where he can’t leave spawn
It's crazy that this game is a decade old now. Indie games really have the greatest life spans. Stardew Valley, Minecraft (originally), Undertale, Terraria, etc. They're all still popular to this day despite all of them being at least 5 years old.
The funniesr part is this game had only a thousand active players for years, only a few months ago it climbed to 8000, a few weeks ago a new update dropped and now the game is in steams top twenty most played games going by current players
POV: You are a survivor of the Zombie Apocalypse, and are looking for a place to stay. You enter a cul-de-sac, looking at the empty homes, trying to pick one, when you hear a faint voice from the end of the cul-de-sac. You walk down the street, holding your weapon in front of you, watching for zombies, but it's eerily silent, excluding the voice, which is louder now. You approach the house at the end of the cul-de-sac, and immidiately begin to feel nauseous. There is a horrible stench coming from the house, but the voice is now louder than ever. You step inside, over a pile of undead at the door. You the first thing you see is the source of the voice. A TV, with the cooking channel on. Looking into the kitchen you see a massive pile of undead, all with their skulls caved in. The broken handle of a frying pan can be seen on the counter. Hearing a small rumbling, you step back into the living room and look at the Washer. It's on. You open the washer and end the spin cycle, inside of it is a zombie, also with a caved in skull. You walk back to the living room and turn off the TV, and that's when you notice the trail of undead leading to the dining room. Inside, you find dozens of zombies, either with their skulls caved in or a giant gash in their head. The stench is overwhelming, and your body forces out your meager breakfast. Looking back, you see a body, but instead of being decayed, like the undead, it's just begun to enter rigor mortis. Looking more closely, stepping over the undead bodies, you see what was once a healthy person, malnourished and starved, slumped over a pile of bodies. Lifting the body, you see it's wearing a fireman's helmet, a bra, and a nice pair of trousers. In their cold, dead hand is a fire axe, covered in the blood of the undead. You retrieve the Axe and light a match, burning the building. You leave, looking for a new place to live, knowing the fire will attract more zombies.
Alternativ Pov: You are a survivor of a zombie apocalypse and you are looking for a place to stay. You enter a cul-de-sac looking at the empty homes, trying to pick one, when you hear a faint voice from the end of the cul-de-sac. "Hey You!" You hear the voice in the distance yell. You involuntarily hasten your step but keep your attention on trying to stay as silent as possible, holding your weapon in front of you, watching for zombies. It's erely silent, excluding the voice, which is louder now. Whoever it is, they seem to be screaming at the top of their lungs. The thought of finding other, alive, people has you exited. You have had near misses with other groups of survivors, their locations crudely drawn on maps that you pilfered from abandoned homes. You never managed to get to them before the undead did. "Over here!" Around the corner of a wooden fence you can see a man standing at the threshold of his opened front door, looking out. His hair and beard are long and have already gone gray, despite the fact that he seems to be in his thirtees. He is wearing nothing but a sexy ensemble of polka-dot panties and a lacied bra, which look quite good on him even if the panties are pulled over a pair of boxers and covered by a black speedo. On his head sits a dripping wet cowboy hat. As you creep closer he doesn't seem to be able to see you, despite the red pair of rectangular glasses on his nose. When you are only a few meters away the stech of days old rotting meat finally hits you, drawing your attention to the enormous pile at his feet ,though it's not the smell that makes you pause in making your presence known. Rotting corpses litter the wide open entrance and with a shock you realize that almost all of them seem perfectly intact except for their feet and toes, which had been smashed to a bloody mush. "You! Hey You! Over here!" your hear him scream again but he is not standing in the doorway anymore. Instead he has wandered over to an open window. "Hey! Over here! Hey!" Over and over for what must have been at least five minutes, running from window to door to the other window, until suddenly he stops dead in his tracks and gets on the ground to do burpees. You creep back outside and decide that maybe you should try your luck elsewhere.
The popup of the bore ragnarok bit was so unexpected and well timed it made me laugh audibly for the first time in I don't know how long. Thank you Kevin, truly a master at uplifting people's spirits
Scrolling through the comments during the video and the timing of this comment right before I saw that moment was almost as perfect as the timing of the bore Ragnarok joke
The way this series has progressed I'm fully expecting to see a video entitled "Project Zombiotoid but I'm a immobile pacifist with amnosia" within a week.
I think this challenge would be improved if the player’s yard was also fair game; a farm could be set up, and then death wouldn’t be basically guaranteed after a certain period of time.
I think tho too, you could rip some roof out and make a farm upstairs(not sure tho). It could also maybe be an added challenge to try and rip up enough wood from furniture to try and build a "balcony" out a window, so while yer still outside yer not on the ground. I always thought you could plant inside tho, had you ripped some floor out (I've never actually played the game tho, only watched all of AmbiguousAmphibian's videos and made assumptions based on those lol).

You actually got the luckiest spawn in the whole game. That spawn right there is the best house to hide in because it is almost surrounded everywhere. Insane to think about, especially for me. In my old PZ coop game i lived there for multiple days, building more defences, etc. It pains me that you never left it.
The game looks a little like the Sims 1 and that kinda makes it more hilarious for me, imagine Bella Goth or Bob Newbie slaying hordes of zombies and surviving in their neighborhood
When I was a kid I thought burpees was just a cute name for when a baby burps and spits up. So any time I heard someone say they were going to do or had done burpees I thought they had a baby and had or were about to burp it.
now that you'v successfully died as a hermit, you should try being a wildman! full forest survival with no house only trees, bugs, spears made from tree branches(with a chipped stone) and darkness! oh and you dont NEED to eat when peckish, thats just telling you you are getting closer to the ACTUAL hungry moodlet which lowers your strength, its so you know you will soon lose 1 carry weight

Another youtuber named ambiguous amphibian did a video similar to this where he actually started farming without leaving the house. He died near the end of the video but if you get garbage bags, seeds, and gravel you can permanently sustain yourself, I think

Another youtuber named ambiguous amphibian did a video similar to this where he actually started farming without leaving the house. He died near the end of the video but if you get garbage bags, seeds, and gravel you can permanently sustain yourself, I think
