Really like this deck idea, would be super cool to see gameplay, or an updated list now that phantom nightmare is out, really cool stuff!
at the end of each standby phase, you can add ponix if you destroyed him. that means you dont need barong to search for him and you can trigger Kirin's effect to special summon.
This video is a godsend, ive been studying it for hours trying to memories my combos for the deck.

9:15 you could also summon pony’s here to get another search, and he would also come back to your hand in the next standby phase if u pop him with the xyz effect, wouldn’t matter to much but its a good option if u want Circle and/or Sky burn
Arvata summons them negated so u cant

shot in the dark here but was curious if anyone had any general combo guidelines for this variation of the deck. Been playing with the stock 3x fire kings deck for a minute and have that combo fairly down, but all my hunting has left me no real idea on the general flow of this deck set-up.(If its simple honestly just say "Read the cards", but if its not i'd rather know before spending the money on the singles for cards i got no clue how to use.)

In the last combo you can make unicorn co link to shurag arrow to grt the draw as its arrow point left right a down

Just have a look at the placement of the link arrows on each monster.

The arrow pointing to the arrows is co link. Shurag points up down last and right unicorn is also left and right and down. So unicorn can summon to the left or right of shurag
you will prabably never see this but can you do combos fore if you open without ponix? i dont want to not know what to do in a high stakes situatuion if i brick.

How would u make abyss dweller? Or is that just an option u can get into when u have 2 4’s on the field?
pretty much, let's say that some crazy game-state brings you to a desperate board with arvata/barong/rangbali/fraktall, you can xyz summon from there, and since a good 80% of decks in the current meta makes heavy usage of the GY (such as this deck lmao), abyss dweller is the best rank 4 for the job.
I’m pretty sure ponix and barong’s effects in the standby phase happen on different chains
Can you explain why? I’m trying to learn the game and the deck
@@forseti4328 why? No idea. But it is what happens. Could be a “because Konami says so” thing, not sure what causes them to be on different chains. But they 100% can’t be chain blocked by eachother, they HAVE to be on different chains
@@jenkohr Phase dependent triggers always occur in their own chain, just how triggers like branded fusion monsters and fire kings work.

The ponix+Kitt combo is good but the ponix+BBW combo isnt as good as the Ponix+Fire combo to make heatsoul imo. I'd go for the heatsoul combo over the Apol combo if i have the choice. Obviously that changes depending on the deck you're going against. for example Apo is probably better against Unchained/Dark world etc. Mainly because either monster negation is really good against those matchups or the Fire king pops are really back against those matchups. Blind i'd go for the heatsoul combo though.

Can you summon appolussa after using bearbrumms effect?
No, it says so in the card text.
bearbrum locks you into only tri-brig extra deck after using its search, the other tribrig cards just lock you into using tri-type monsters as link material.
Is barong a continuous graveyard effect?
in order to resolve Barong must be in the GY during the Standby, and only if it's gone there by destruction, meaning that if you destroy it, then revive and then send him to the GY (for example as a Link Material) it won't resolve
The only reason im using rangbali is because it doesnt do anything

I:P Masquerena protects only from your opponent's card effects
