Depends on the hand. Kirin, Circle. Sky Burn etc. essentially make Imperm a non-threat aside from on Kerass. I've opted in some Talents for cards like Ash, but depending on the target it doesn't matter much either. Fraktall getting Ashed but Ponix going through means you're still doing the same stuff.

For that second combo, you can activate kitt chainblocked by garunix to send a tri-brigade during your opponent's turn. I like sending oath for a spell/trap negate before summoning the xyz
For combo 2 after you add Ponix onto your hand thanks to Shuraig being popped by Garunix eternity, your Barong was popped too SO your Ponix can be summoned immediately, adding Fire King Sky Burn onto your hand for follow-up popping if your opp still have backrows to set! (I ADORE this version of Fire King and have been testing it extensively so... :D )
I love making some foul rescue ferret combos with bird up. Definitely going to see if fire king can add to it since lyrilusc can search ponix very easily, could also get out ponix with rescue ferret and re summon it with zealantis.

The last combo on revolt can not happen if it was Little Knight. You have no Zones to summon the Shuraig to the field. However the Unicorn it can. Great combo video! May test out the different variants from Pure, Snake-eyes, and Tri-brigade

Ponix searches an FK spell Sanctuary can then be used anytime before or after Shuraig drops.
This was actually the first draft of the combo and something I was going to mention but decided not to. The extra Appo negate is worth it usually game 1 imo but you can be more conservative like that games 2 and 3 when you suspect Belle or such. The card being searched off Nervall isn't as important here as it is for other variants bc Fire King is recursive enough.
You can play a small engine of Bird Up cards in Fire King to search Ponix if you REALLY want too I guess but you can't play Fire King cards in Bird Up. Zero Extra Deck space and clogs the main with bricks.

I haven't had an opportunity to experiment much with Tri-variants post Appo but the biggest thing people are talking about is the Rabbit that sets a Continuous Monster Trap from Deck
Anyone know why YGO Omega wont let me use Kitt or Fraktall's link summoning effect for the last combo? It wont let me banish Shuraig and Kerass to summon Barren Blossom

PLAYABLE but there's genuinely no good replacement for Appo in Tri Builds. Plus, it's already just weaker than other FK variants now after the release of all the busted Spoils cards and prominence of things like Impulse and Charmies.
Came back to say - you can run Silhouhatte Rabbit w/ Azurune if you REALLY wanna play the deck. With the WANTED engine being cheap now too you can play that as an additional starter which is neat and maybe even do Princess plays if your Tri lines fall off due to Impulse and stuff. Still wouldn't recommend this over Snake-Eye though now that that's budget.
Probably not. FK are better than both Spright and Tri currently, and the synergy between Spright and Tri is just terrible without Elf (proven by lack of tops compared to any other Spright variant).

Is the diabellestar engine overkill in this deck?
Yeah this is more of a budget variant so you don't need those cards, and they don't provide insane value without just upping your deck size a lot.

It's definitely the less popular Fire King variant but I think it's solid!
Sacred garunix won't come back if you circle pop Hyang garunix because it was still material when it was popped, it needs to be detached first.
but you can use hyang to summon 2 so just summon garunix that way.

You already trigger it by Revolt you don't want to waste resources with Kitt
