- Sorry for the late upload guys! We just wanted to chill a bit and enjoy the city! Ehhhh No! Haha
This Vlog took us 24h to edit, working non stop in shifts so we physicslly could not have published earlier! Well I guess we could have skipped the 4K export but since we were already late we figured that this video deserved it!
Hope you guys like it! We are stoked to start using the Gopros more now that the Hero 6 is as amazing as it is.
As usual we are not paid to say any of this, we just had parts of our flights covered for so this (yes we did pay to come! Haha) So its a 100% honest review from our side and we can easily say that its a game changer! So great job everyone at GoPro for pushing what is possible!

Hey Jon! Huge fan since the start of your skiing era. I remember meeting you in Folgefonna, Norway a while back, and it was honestly the best day of my life. You have been a huge inspiration for me as a skier and as filmmaker. One day my dream would be to be able to make videos with the same energy, work and quality you guys put in. I've always wanted to get a GoPro because I just love the fact that these things are so tiny and produce such incredible looking footage!
I love filmmaking and everything that includes media and have been fascinated by it since I was 12 years old. Now I'm 20 and I recently had to drop out of film school and start working because my family needs additional support.
It would be a great help for me personally since I plan to continue my education next year and besides rent (for a student room) and all the other living expenses next to university cost, gear would be one less thing to worry about.
And also I always wanted to tell you that I watch the Vlog since a pretty long time but never left a comment before. Keep doing what you love because the quality just gets better and better with you all getting happier! I wish you the best of luck and happiness for your future and just remember to always go hard or go home!

I'm sorry for my late reaction, I've been catching up on the vlogs since I came back from Indonesia. Normally I would watch the vlogs right away, but I've been rather busy... Really like the intro on this one! It gives a cinematic character to the vlog, which makes it interesting and very pleasing to watch from the start. I love the way you guys play with the music fade in and out together with te zoomed in shots, it's original and perfectly made. Comes together nice. I would love to sign up for the go pro. I've been traveling Indonesia like 4 days after you guys were there and did almost exactly the same (except buying a giant mansion). My travel life got a little upgrade this year: I'm going to Copenhagen, Washington and Iceland. The problem is, I never owned a go pro or any professional camera, so there is no right way to share my experiences and amazing views. The camera on my phone does simply not qualify for the job. I would love a portable one to take with me on my journeys and hopefully share some shots. Thank you for the great vlogs, keep going like this!
i'm building this surfer/adventure-bus to travel the world with my mates... but the time lapses of the build is a pain in the a*s to deal with because my phone gets filled up in 30 minutes and then i have to go export and it takes a lot of time haha. a gopro is the perfect solution for that problem. thanks guys, epic blog as always.

My daughters and I watch you all the time! You inspire us and we love your vlogs! My daughter Chantal has SLE-lupus, she has been on once a week chemo shots. She was in college for photography before she was ill. She's feeling a little better and she really needs something to get her started back into feeling creative. Having so many medical bills she can't afford a luxury like a GoPro 5. This would make a big difference in her life! I never comment on give aways but because it's a camera and she's a big fan of Jon, Janni and Benny, this would be the best present ever!! It would help her to get up and go out and be creative!! Hey Guys - Love your videos and have watched them all. I'd love the GoPro5 to be able to start shooting some epic footage, like you guys, but of my 2 little kids who love going on adventures and you have inspired me to start making volgs as memories for the future for our family. Adding a GoPro would open up a whole new world f possibilities for what we'd be able to capture. Keep up the great work!!

That was one hell of a good editing and super awesome flow though the whole vlog. I like A LOT. And now for the begging part. I´d love go get a GoPro 5 to just mess around with my kids. They are pretty young atm, just 9 month and 2 years old but it would be awesome to just shot some random family clips and then maybe I´ll learn to edit them myself into some more serious movies just to have in the future. Keep up the nice work!

like dont get me wrong, I am 29 and enjoy a Jon style more & in my younger days liked to party but the Pauls are just disrespectful little shits. I pay mind to them here and there because it is interesting seeing their career as youtube stars & I am assuming at least Logan will leave youtube or be more like Gary V. in a way instead of the daily vlog being the main point (example behind the scenes of his acting or singing or what ever logan goes) but of course his "career" can end at any time as most "relative" stars do.
its the little things like Jon knowing after years of filming at event it is proto call that non media or guest can not film at events as most events you need permits or they just flat out dont allow it. & if you can sweet talk your way into filming or what ever then great but he doesnt push the limit then play the victim when standard rules apply. I mean I attended a nitro circus event a few weeks ago. Wanted to photo and video on my 6d ii and new 75-300 lens but figured they had their own media so they can sell posters. So I read the back of my ticket and sure enough it said dont bring your camera. lol so I followed the rules. their are rules in life.

I've recently start dabbling in videography by supporting my friend who is a paraplegic videographer. He is talented with a GoPro, drone and lumix and to be able to test what I learn from him, with my own GoPro would be amazing!

GOOD MORNING TEAM OVERKILL!! A couple years ago I was told by a stranger to "stop taping the concert" because viewing life through a lens causes you to miss the moment. Now, I didn't take it offensively because I knew what he meant, but it sure got me thinking why I film and take pictures in the first place. I started to realize that it wasn't the event itself that I wanted to capture, but all the special moments in between. The starry eyes of the audience, the flashing lights in the background, the bright smiles of my loved ones. That's the reason I do what I do. Watching you're vlogs has been nothing but inspirational because it is during your vlogs where you execute just this. You never once fail to capture the little moments whether it be a squirrel running in the background, a bird taking flight, Jannid's laughter, or Benni's never ending YESES!! Receiving the GoPro HERO 5 would allow me to take me films to the next level just as you have. With this amazing camera, and hopefully the same level of energy as Benni, I plan to capture more loving memories just as Team Overkill does every vlog!!

I hope to receive the GoPro Hero 5 as I have taken a huge interest in filming lately. I haven't been able to afford much, due to college expenses, but ever since I started watching a bunch of GoPro footage and especially the ones made by GoPro themselves, I have grown passionate in my desire to create videos like them. After watching this video it has given me an increased amount of hope to not only be able to film with a GoPro Hero 5, but to be able to make videos that will hopefully inspire those who watch it. I find my greatest joy in filming when I'm able to help someone feel the power I feel from experiences in my life. I feel that GoPro, and especially this video you guys made allows people to feel the power of experiences in life. I felt the excitement in your video as all of you were headed to the GoPro Hero 6 launch. I felt the excitement as you guys suddenly were apart of an unexpected activity after the launch. It is my desire to create videos that will change people's outlook on life and the experiences that come as we get out in the world. I just love action and adventure! For a long time now, I've been saving up for a nice travel which will begin in Southafrica and end in New Zealand. Some of the stuff I'm gonna do is skydiving, bungy jumping, surfing, canyoning and a lot of other cool activities!! So it will be super fun to get it all on video and which camera is better suited for that mission than a GoPro of course ;-)

I live on a farm in Michigan. I grew up not knowing what I wanted to do with my life, whether I wanted to stay home and farm or go into a career in filmmaking. Once I started going to school for filmmaking I left home and thought "What am I doing here." It didn't feel right and I knew that there was something better waiting for me. I went home after my first year and asked myself what do I want to do with my life? I didn't want the family farm to fail because I left and I didn't want to put my dreams of filmmaking away forever. Then I thought, why not do both? In May I started my channel dedicated to farming. I vlog and use the drone we bought for ag purposes at first but now I use it all the time for my videos. I have been wanting to upgrade from my hero 4 for awhile and the 6 looks amazing; however I would die for a hero 5. Thanks for reading my comment and feel free to watch any of my videos!

I would like to get a gopro 5 because honestly i was looking for gopro last 2-3 years but my dad can’t afford school,travelling and on top of that gopro (he work thousands of kms to educate three children and he see us only once in two month so i don’t want to ask for him for that much money). It would be awesome to have one more angle beside my iphone camera with what i am shooting(i have video of my excursion on my channel)

After skiing i will use it often for school projects and to practice cinematography more and more. Sooooo 10 months ago my husband and I sold everything we owned and quit our corporate jobs to travel the world full-time. We've been working as aspiring content creators ever since. Unfortunately only 3 weeks into our journey, we had an incident in Iceland where we lost our only Gopro. Along with any start up, we didn't necessarily have the funds to just purchase a brand new one. We have been hoping to work with Gopro, but because we have been bouncing around so much, we have been struggling to find the right point of contact. We have made due since the loss, however we are currently in Australia and in desperate need of an action camera! We are always so stoked on your vlogs and get so much inspiration from them and the team. We would froth over the opportunity to carry on your Gopro Hero 5's legacy here on RUclips. You can get generic Chinese 4k action cams for $65. Not quite as good, but 90% as good and since these are meant to be put in harms way, cheap is a key feature. Every good morning, i start with my little boy, GoPro hero 3+, it`s like that for about 3 and a half years. And every single video on my channel was filmed with that silver little guy, im using slow motion very much, and i`m additcted to frame rate hahahaha, i have so many little gadgets for that one little camera which changed my life, and i really wanna make footage better every single day, i don`t have much subscribers, but most of all, i care about the quallity and awesome footage i shoot and edit in hours, and those hours turn to day`s, even if the finall video is about 2 minutes long which includes my intro. Me and my best friend are having a gap year this year, we've been working to save money for traveling, and soon we're ready to go on the adventure of our lives! We are road tripping the west coast in USA, visiting Cuba, staying some weeks in a house at the beach, trying to learn how to surf, just to mention some of our plans! The goPro would be amazing for capturing these moments! We both love filming and photographing, and are planning to document and be creative during the whole trip, the goPro would change our filming game so much, especially when it comes to being able to film in water and while doing activities!

I want the GoPro because as the broke college student i am, i don't think i can afford to buy one anytime soon, if i could get this it would really help me learn more and be able to work towards my dream.
I would really want that sick gopro, not only because i love filming and creating content, but because I recently was looking for a GoPro since my other camera does not really allow me to film all these special shots in the air and even in the water. A GoPro would then fill all my camera needs (for now, which is like until tomorrow). And knowing it is your and Benis old camera would motivate me even more to make even cooler b-rolls and new stunts even though it's hard to compete with your awesome quality content.

Dear Jon. Thank you once again for a very awesome vlog, you are a true inspiration. When it comes to the GoPro, I have never really owned a camera in my life besides from the one in my phone . Due to my salary, I simply cannot afford a camera as of today, especially now that I also am studying in school. The GoPro would really benefit me in becoming more adventurous in a sense, because I would then be able to record all the action stuff I do, and finally own a really solid camera for once. Especially what the camera can do underwater - I would love to record every aspect of the ocean to keep as memories but also to share it with the world. Thank you
