There is something about a catfish that makes my heart thump like a base drum. Great catch brother. I'm in Hiddenite so I have some great water near me. Wet lines save lives.
Big ones like that are fun! I keep telling my friends if they catch a big one and had a second rod with some cut bait they won't need a trolling motor! Congrats! I always enjoy pulling in big ones despite all the work it is to get one in! This December has been a good month, because I've been pulling in some 60 plus lb catfish myself, and that's bigger than I usually catch this consistently.
That's incredible a catch of a lifetime. Congratulations. I'm definitely considering taking one of your guided fishing trips if you could put me on a fish half that size I would pay you almost anything you ask. Again congratulations
