Great interview. I love that Marlon can spit AND pays respects to those that "laid the tracks." "Do your ish, contribute and step the F off." Peace and love to both!
This guy is fucking great....i hope he never takes the real instrumentation and organic sound out of the equation. Dudes rhymes and beats are top notch
Both of yall have made a significant impact on making that emotional vulnerability cool and honestly something to be admired 🙏❤🎶 We will make it cool again, as long as we keep traversing this beautiful artform and ourselves along the way. Blessings and gratitude to both of you 🙏😌
Thanks brother. Great interveiw you really know how to let them finish there thoughts. Im even more of a fan of marlon now. I seen you live with slug and ant in ottawa a long time ago i will never forget it. You walked past with ant carying youre gear or atleast i remember him doing so lol. I thought it was some of the realist shot ever. Youre songs hav helped me lots over the years aswell as marlons.
Man you keep blessing us, last week Lowkey, this week Marlon Craft. Much appreciated and many blessings to you my dear Brother Ali. And may those suffering in the current struggles of the world be blessed with safety and prosperity.
Marlons new song bad man, made me come to this interview. When an artist makes a good song ill play it a couple times, add it to my playlist. But when an artist makes a vulnerable song, ill watch a 2 hour podcast on what hurt this man and try to understand why they make the music they make.
Dope! Craft is a beast, getting interviewed by Ali!? Wasn't sure dude was even in your scope! Glad to see him getting props from someone as dope as Ali!
@@BrotherAli_Travelers Because I had no idea you guys knew of each other. Marlon is probably my favourite artist in the game rn, and I’ve been a big fan of you and rhymesayers for a long time now. From different eras… but both create brilliant profound music which has touched my soul. So when this popped up on my timeline I was surprised. But good surprised.
Saw y’all on that west coast run in Boise, ID. That was a such a fun and intimate show. Where the “back room” was in the same room just by the bar and you had to walk through the crowd to get to the stage hah. Marlon killed it and I saw Ev walking the downtown streets before the show. That was so fun
I don't know what the Minaj v Stallion beef is about, and I don't want to, but toxic femininity is real. Why can't women show each other some mercy? Thanks for this excellent convo with Marlon Craft
Yo such a great and underrated guest this week Ali. Marlon is super nice with it! Great hearing how your paths crossed early in his career. Sounds like there was quite a bit of unspoken understanding between the two of you until this conversation. Thank you to the both of you for pushing the culture forward.
I’m weary of the notion that white rappers push it forward. Think we’re grateful to have the opportunity to participate and are tryna give all we have.
Been listening to Marlon for almost 4 years now, Funhouse Mirror still one of my favorites
Love learning more about my favorite artists and their perspective. Thanks for having this conversation w/ Marlon.
It’s a labor of love. Thanks for listening
I have severe anxiety 😢 and to hear Marlon speak about his struggle so candidly is valuably validating for me 🤲🏾
That’s a beautiful thing. Thank God for truth tellers
Great interview. I love that Marlon can spit AND pays respects to those that "laid the tracks."

You’ve got the kind of strength, that looks like weakness, to the untrained eye.
