A couple of black guys named Noob & Awesome watch the first crime noir The Maltese Falcon(1941). Humphrey Bogart does great. Here see. This is a first time blind reaction. We have never seen this before.

Great reactions to this classic *1940’s* (not 50’s) noir flick. Thanks.
Another great private eye noir from around the same time is MURDER MY SWEET starring Dick Powell as Philip Marlowe, a character many people have played, including Humphrey Bogart in another great movie, THE BIG SLEEP. I actually prefer Powell’s version, but both are great.
Elliot Gould did another version in the 1970’s in THE LONG GOODBYE, which is a kind of “neo-noir” but has a very different very 70’s indie tone.
James Garner also played Marlowe in a 1960’s flick, simply titled MARLOWE . Also has a small part for Bruce Lee, and he has a great kick in one scene. He plays a bad guy in this movie. It’s not a great movie, but still entertaining. And I think it was Bruce Lee’s feature Hollywood debut. Garner was another student of Lee’s. May they both rest in Shalom and may their work and memory bless us. That applies to all the names in this comment.

"If you behave you'll be out in 20 years - I'll be waiting. If they hang you from your pretty neck, I'll always remember you. "
    Just stone cold sarcastic mocking!

    I love this film.
The director John Huston was the father of actress Anjelica Huston and he would also direct his father in a couple of his films.

Huston's father, Walter Huston, played the character who staggers into the office with the falcon. They could only do one take.

@@HuntingViolets Oh. I never knew that. Thank you for that information.

Your Bogart impression sounds more like Curly Howard from the Three Stooges, I'm sad to say.

"She's been mourning for a long time." Hasn't it been about a day or two?
