Chrystal, No doubt God led me to listen today to how to leave a legacy. Thank you. It was what I needed. My husband passed 21 months following a long battle of parkinson's disease. We married later than most for our first and only marriage, me 37 and him 45. And God blessed us with 35 wonderful years together, even with the parkinson's we had a good life, we served God together, lived to make many memories with our nieces and nephews, church children, and many many others, to know him was to love him, my family loved him as much as they did me. He lived a complete life, he served his country, traveled, loved and loved for God, he made an impact on those he met with his quiet presence. He cherished me and I adored him. I had major health issues, since his death, le lived well, and left such a legacy of love to his two nephews and two nieces, he was their greatest mentor. Then, my 4 nephews and 3 nieces adored their uncle Larry Lynn, my youngest nephew never remembers life without him, he left a great legacy. And, I've been saying, now Lord what is my purpose. we had bible studies in our home, we served as deacons together, we lived well together, I wouldn't trade the legacy he left me for anything in this world, so you have inspired me to continue to o say Lord show me my purpose, to continue to serve you without him.As I served you before I met him. Thank you again.
This is powerful and uplifting for me personally, because I lost the love of my life my husband. Crystal this is reminder that my husband’s legacy is the memories of us together, family, and friends. Someone said legacy is not always about the things but what the person gives out; inspirational message, their time, and their purpose to help others. I miss him so much, and today is his birthday. This is totally what I’ve been experiencing lately. Even though I’ve know Jesus and believe in Him I didn’t see myself as His until now. Thank you for reminding me about His awesome power to LOVE me and see me as His daughter; regardless of the boxes I put myself in, regardless of the reputation I have in other people’s eyes. I AM GOD’S DAUGHTER. He LOVES me and knew me before I knew myself. I pray that everyone on Earth before, now and after KNOW in their hearts that GOD LOVES them and nothing can separate them from God’s PERFECT LOVE. Romans 8:38-39 ✝️💗
