Rialto Beach (Hole in the Wall at Low Tide), First Beach & Ruby Beach Pacific Northwest Trip Day 12

- On day 12 of our trip to the Pacific Northwest, we spend the morning hiking out to Hole in the Wall at Rialto Beach and low tide. During low tide there are numerous tide pools available to investigate where we saw starfish, sea cucumbers and more.
Next we head to First Beach in La Push Washington, and then end the day exploring around at Ruby Beach.

Awesome day at the beach. Those starfish were huge and there were a bunch too. Pretty awesome. Those rock formations and arch were fantastic. My wife and daughter were just there last month too. They were following all the film sites up the coast. Scary to think that most of that will be under water when the tide comes in. Fun to see your exploring. Have a wonderful day.

There are some fabulous beaches on this coast. We have enjoyed these in really contrasting conditions. Rialto beach on our stop was wonderfully sunny but wild waves were thundering in amongst the logs. It was high tide and really exciting. Ruby beach on our last visit was difficult as horizontal rain was driving of the ocean, seemingly turbo charged by spray from the awesome breakers. As I noted in my comment about Forks we got really wet here in a very short time. We had been on a better day years ago but I would have loved to get some digital images especially of those starfish. You had yet another wonderful day.
We were truly blessed with the weather on this trip. We watched quite a few videos of this area and in most, was pourin down rain! We packed for the rain and expected it, but much to our delight and surprise, the weather was perfect! I personally could sit on these beaches for hours and just watch the waves! Thanks for watching!
How beautiful and strong the Pacific looks. A very nice walk along the beaches, but we liked Ruby beach the most because of the two beautiful rocks that jut out of the sea. Beautiful video guys. Sretana and Zac. 🖐😄🤗

Guys that's so beautiful there at the beaches. The hole in the wall is beautiful, love the rock formations though it looks cold, similar to North Wales at the moment ! Scary they have a tsunami risk there.I love the look of Ruby Beach. So so beautiful at all of them :) ~ Anna

This is a stunning and scenic area! The trees on the beach look like something from another age or a movie - but it is real and quite an experience to see :) I think I would have enjoyed visiting this beach a lot:)

That was amazing. I hadn't seen it in low tide. The sea creatures you saw were spectacular and it was very educational to come along. All that drift wood is so awesome too. And the rock formations look even larger without all the water around.

Hole in the wall and then I guess it's a hole in the water,lol. Man those rock formations were huge and the starfish were really cool.
