    Pretty cool, I actually have a 7th gen myself and I did the steering wheel swap about two years ago with a carbon fiber steering wheel from a 7th gen but knowing this I'll probably do this swap again but with an 8th gen carbon fiber steering wheel. I've only seen another 7th gen with this current swap you just did and it looked beautiful. Nice job on the max.

      @@JoshcapersMake sure you get a steering wheel from a SL level trimmed Maxima so you don't loose your heated wheel function but all plug and play

      I just followed you on TikTok. Will it be possible to do a remote start in the nearest future? I’ve the 2010 platinum but without remote start and would like to add one. I like how your videos are well put together and understanding.

    I just did this to my 7th gen however when I go to turn the wheel it sounds almost like sandpaper and doesn't spin freely? Would anyone know why?

    What car is this steering wheel from? I ordered the right airbag but wrong steering wheel.

    So question for you, if I wanted to swap mine in my 7th gen, where would I get the springs from?

    • @ScorpionMultimedia
      @ScorpionMultimedia  Год назад

      I got mines from rym auto parts just contact them about it if you buy an airbag from them, on eBay thru other sellers but will cost abit more than rym auto parts or local salvage/junk yard doesn’t matter if the airbag blown just need the springs, but Nissan will not sell just the springs they will tell you you need to buy the whole airbag

    I did mine couple of days ago, with 2019 steering wheel, on the base model, the cruise control won’t work and down bottom left and right not functioning. I had to take the old switches for the cruise control and replace some parts due the resistance difference, you need to find a smart Electrician to do it, now it’s functioning correctly

    • @MSGmining
      @MSGmining 4 месяца назад

      Even in your video the cruise control is flashing, so when you check through OBD, you will get an error, the solution is to replace the resistance of the board, in the digital multimeter the old one read 2.2 as a resistant the new one read 2.4 which will make the cruise control flashing means you can’t use it, second in the circuit board the buttons have numbers follow the printed lines and replace the old resistor in the new board

    Great vid!! Just wondering if this is possible on a 5th gen maxima? If so, what years would allow me to do so? Thanks in advance!

      It only works if you get the correct 8th GEN steering wheel. There are some models that do not have heat feature and some that do.
