What's that square looking thing with the 2 electrical connections and looks to have an intake pipe coming from a round filter between the battery and power steering fluid cap? A diesel heater? My 2005 doesn't have one of those.
At what mileage are you meant to replace this back belt? And can I know what was your mileage on the car when you have done it? I have a Ford territory titanium 2012 which I believe using same engine as land Rover but not sure when should I do mine.
Yes it does, BUT, IT HAS TO BE TIMED INTO THE 2 PULLYS. Everything is the same as whats going on in this video and you will need some sort of mirror to be able to see the marks on the pullys. Thanks for the comment..
@john doyle yeah I think it's on the opposite head. U could probably do it by removing the heater matrix pipes that run down the left hand side of the engine, and try to get at it that way.
Hello. Nice vid. I have a problem with my Tdv6 2.7 after HPFP replacement. It has the P0088 fuel pressure too high fault and the car is in limp mode. Forums say the HPFP has timing marks during installation. Skipping this will trigger the fault... Is this true.
HI Ted. The HPFP is 100% not timed into the camshaft on this engine, (2.7 Tdv6). The LR4 3.0 twin turbo is timed in tho, so they are maybe on about that engine on the forum.
Still not sure whether to do this or to only change the timing belt, and say fuck it about the pump belt... Especially because it's an SDV6, where it's indexed, ahhhhh. Don't even know if the dealer will do it tbh. Timing belt only looks alright, even if it is still a bit of a faff.
Really tough job and well done for taking it on. This is how Christian and Vera did it in their friends D3 ruclips.net/video/gL41G1o8nW4/видео.html as it may help others too.
If you have any questions about this job lease feel free to comment. Many thanks for watching.

I have read a post and it’s says both belts need changing every 100,000ks
Could you please tell me if the LR4 3.0ltr has this belt?
