More like dark in a sense that What Conners was doing was a bit of something he thought of trying to help but it took a turn the wrong way as the more he injected himself, his mind gets corrupted

@@EHXOT fair assessment, But shouldn't a world so technologically advanced that it has Holographic AI, have enough resources to have atleast have a phone that's touch screen?
In the amazing spider man video game, even though I don't think it's Canon, its said that Peter's blood can't be effected by cross species DNA, cause he himself is technically a cross species
This movie is a perfect example of why projects should never be rushed, especially with such delicate research. 0:40 to 1:38 You should never skip steps, or the results will be disastrous. 2:09 They shouldn’t have done anything else after this until they knew there were no bad side affects to the Lizard DNA. Another good example is in the movie “Small Soldiers”. The toys could think and move all on their own and were actually quite dangerous, depending on their programming. This project failed for the same reason that this Lizard one in this film ultimately failed: the project was rushed, and therefore they skipped some important steps.
Its what they do to test subjects, and they were not gonna do humans, conners' boss forced him to and when he refused, he got fired, and he was so insanley obsessed with getting a new arm that he new this was his only chance
That Thumbnail alone is pretty great at showing how alike Connors and Parker are. Not just with them both being scientists but with their respective powers after they get bitten/injected.
I remember freaking out to see Fred dining on his friend first time I saw that. Really shouldn't have dropped the balls on the gore and violence on the sequel. This was cool af to see.
The movie was definitely better when they weren't recreating an origin story that audiences saw only 10 years prior to this movie arriving. They really should have condensed the origin story stuff into a brief opening credits sequence and then jumped into the main story.
Today I have just watched The Amazing Spider-Man in Cinemax. I always been waiting for the 5 HBO's movie channels to shows this masterpiece and now they did. But there is one thing that really bothers me, is the cutted (not deleted scenes) scene from Cinemax that potentially also happens to HBO, HBO Hits, or even HBO Signature. For example first scene that was cut was when Peter search "What happens if bitten by spider" at the beginning. The actual scene were they shows bunch of illness pictures, like zits, pimple, or one hole on the finger, cuts it till Peter clicks the keyboard again. Second scene that were cut was this scene at 4:17 were Freddy, the lizard mouse ate Wilma, the other three-legged mouse, was hoping to show it but it has to be removed. Third scene were Dr. Connors first transform back to himself when he tries to get up to some higher place from the sewer. Not sure if that scene really necessary be removed. Fourth scene were The Lizard were in the Liquid Nitrogen area at the end of the movie when Captain Stacy was shooting at him. They removed it probably because they don't want to show the hand regrow in that scene and immediately just cuts him getting up which is really bothers. And finally the fifth one (probably the best unnecessary cut) was when the antitode has sent to the sky, the scene were it zooms to Dr.Connors/The Lizard's eyes were removed because they don't want to show how good the CGI was from the lizard eye to human eye. Those were the scenes that were removed from the TV channel HBO, HBO Hits, HBO Signature, and Cinemax. These 5 scenes were still there when it shows on Fox Movies, Fox Action Movies before and these unnecessary censorship really bothers me. Since Fox Movies and the rest got shut down, we are now had to deal with the unnecessary censorship version of Fox Movies, which is HBO and the rest. I always thought HBO were better, now I realize Fox Movies never cut scenes, even if it's disturbing or inappropriate scenes (like in Indiana Jones and The Raiders Of The Lost Ark were the melting faces still there in Fox Movies) Long live Fox Movies, we'll miss you!
I wonder why Peter’s Spider-Sense didn’t detect Connors or Freddie as threats The only people or things that I can think of that can negate the Spider-Sense is Symbiotes such as Venom and Carnage
I think it's only going to detect literal imminent danger. He can be around a dangerous evil person but won't be alerted unless they are literally seconds away from pulling a trigger or knife on him. It has not always been like this in the movies mostly because a lot of writers forget how his spider sense is supposed to work.
That simulator would be quite useful for scientific experimentation nowadays like some quantum digitilised or composed like halo mice with ai accurate simulations
Rhys only recorded his lines in No Way Home. Connors’ cure scene was archive footage from theASM. Although, Connors appearance still looked realistic when I saw the film.
@@alone_mw Really? I'd argue that they improved Electro in NWH. Sure he felt like a completely different character, but he was more of a power-hungry threat than last time
And that's a MOUSE (not a rat), and I'll bet that a rat (or even a CAT) would have a fight on their hands trying to eat THAT mouse! (the magic of genetic engineering!!!)
So when you inject into a mouse, just the new limb grows back, but when he injects it into himself, he turns into an actual lizard. That makes total sense.
No where because they aren’t real. Always remember kids, these are movies with huge CGI budgets to create the illusion of these holographic computers, but they are fictitious. It’s only a movie. Movies aren’t real life.
2:19 love how the tone of the movie changes, from positivity to straight up evil

this should have kept this dark tone in the 2nd movie.
Similar to Star Wars

Why does this world have holographic AI but peter has a regular flip phone?
@Captain Poulpe how do you know that only Oscorp has Holo-Ai

the fact that it took richard Parker's algorithm several tries to successfully work, shows they shouldn't have gone ahead with it.
