The one trait of a great interviewer, is the ability to truly listen, and allow the person being interviewed to finish their thought process and to answer the question that was asked. If a person is constantly interrupting someone after having asked them a question, you are invalidating that person's answer and their expertise on the matter.
Virginia Abernathy they seem close. He’s probably used to it . But yeah, I wanted to hear what he had to say. Hope Lynda will read these comments and next week will be different.
This was great! Thank you so much for sharing. But I also have to agree with some of the other comments ... the constant interrupting was frustrating. When you ask a guest a question, please let them answer. I look forward to next week's episode! Thank you Linda, Brian and Gary!
Thanks you Brian for asking people to stay home. Not enough are listening. As an RN reporting to work full time it's so important for people to stay safely at home.
A thousand thank yous! This was lovely. So nice to see Brian is loved and cared for, and all those real designers secrets! Brian's house shots were great , and the split screen was perfect . The conversational style was relaxed, not staged. You two brightened my day. The dog was the cherry on top! I am inspired all over again!
Lynda, you are such a gracious host! You make everyone feel so comfortable. I felt like I was on a three way call with friends you, Brian and Gary and me lol. What a wonderful idea to bring us all together. Thank you!
Those kitchen inspiration pieces are lovely together. The orange silk flowers really pop off that pallet. A leafy green would also look so fresh with that backdrop.
I wish Lynda would stop interrupting her guest. She doesn’t let him finish whatever he is saying! Assuming she knows better? Why ask if you already have the answer?
I love Brian Gluckstein. But Lynda please let him finish his sentences. You keep on interrupting him. He has alot of interesting things to share, of which we would like to hear. Thank you brian for sharing your private spaces and personal life with us. Love light and blessings.
I had the same response! She kept interrupting him and it was so distracting. I have stopped and started this video 3 times and I still can't get through it. It's sad because I so admire his work and was hoping to learn something ☹️.
Yes ! Looking at Dining room drapes , realized that I made them 28 yrs ago. Been putting off for some time. New pattern Gold Check ! Replaces A Chintz ! Looking to the Garden. Add a Pergola we always wanted !
Just tuned into Lynda & Brian, introduced me to Robert Stilin (went to his site, FABULOUS!), But loved hearing your ideas and seeing what moves you artistically. I don/t feel alone so much. I pulled out a bunch paint chips and decided to paint my small kitchen a caramel shade to go with my metallic backsplash tiles in gold, copper and silver. Thanks, I have been artistically hungry and now I am satiated .
THANK YOU for saying "chit chat"! It was EXACTLY what we were able to participate in - convo among friends! It was fun, inspirational, and informative. I loved it too! @sreejaya Bahattacharjee Godfrey / Olga
So happy you’re doing this! Admire and enjoy all you do, Lynda. ....and, you could not have picked a better first guest!! Looking forward to enjoying these. Thank you all ~ stay safe ♥️
True, let all of us know what Brian has to say. Even interrupted with the (darling) pup. All seemed rather shallow at times talking about hopes to get back in the swing of things with your wealthy clients. With such a delightful platform, no mention at all of ways, such as other well-known "celebrities" have, about helping anyone in this pandemic.
We sold our family house we built 31 years ago. We downsized 2/3 of our stuff and moved cities into a condo. Miss the solidity of our brick home and it’s silence. But life moves on and we are near family...
Fabulous....please do more ...🥝☘️🥝☘️🥝we r at home in NZ and dying to get to Ireland for our annual trip home ...be patient says hubby . But clips like these pick me up ...com’on guys what can the v average Jane n jo do without ordering on line ....cleaning is a great start , de cluttering is step 2 ...then what ? There are no deliveries online in Nz !! No potting mix !!!
I had the feeling that Brian didn’t want Gary to join in.Once he sent him to start the car, other to cook and Gary seemed fond to have been chatting Poor thing! 🤭😢
Out and about for food and medicines: When I’m in the supermarket, I buy flowers for Shabbat. Out at Walmart, passed Home Depot and picked up outdoor flowers to place near mailbox. Both are signs of hope and gratitude to G o d. ...not PC!? If you have to be out there, stimulate the economy and jobs in whatever way is doable for you!
Yes, I agree....love flowers! ..and how is buying flowers at SaveOnFoods any different than buying groceries, toilet paper, shampoo, and necessities etc.? It brightens up the home and the front door stoop. Funny how the channel encourages us to buy the House and Home Magazine at newstands...but poo poohs the notion of buying flowers at the same time there? How does that work?
And we decided tha.. LINDA “aNd TELL me what You arE DoinG nao. Oh okay well recently I am working o... LINDA “wHAts yOUr FavoUrite Color?” I really like this sandy blue colo... LINDA “I LovE thaT BooK he’s so HandsOme” Great talk Brian Bye
Keep interrupting, Lynda, fer shure. And promote your magazine. Isn’t this supposed to be an interview with Brian? The purpose of which is to hear what BRIAN has to say? Gah!

What a great idea... even better if Lynda would let her guests talk without interrupting them!!!
Virginia Abernathy yes so annoying
Virginia Abernathy they seem close. He’s probably used to it . But yeah, I wanted to hear what he had to say. Hope Lynda will read these comments and next week will be different.
I think this is the first one so we will watch and see the changes. I always loved green . I loved brians home.
I love Brian. He is so talented and gracious. It's wonderful how he thinks about others at a time like this. A true gentleman.
This was great! Thank you so much for sharing. But I also have to agree with some of the other comments ... the constant interrupting was frustrating. When you ask a guest a question, please let them answer. I look forward to next week's episode! Thank you Linda, Brian and Gary!

I love Brian. It was so nice to see him during this lockdown. Thank you Lynda.
Give her a chance to get comfortable with the format!
I love seeing Brian and Gary together.

Brian Gluckstein's home is so fabulous.
Lynda, you are such a gracious host! You make everyone feel so comfortable. I felt like I was on a three way call with friends you, Brian and Gary and me lol. What a wonderful idea to bring us all together. Thank you!
A three way conversation? She can barely have a two way conversation. Far too much Lynda and not enough of Brian.
Those kitchen inspiration pieces are lovely together. The orange silk flowers really pop off that pallet. A leafy green would also look so fresh with that backdrop.
I am in love with the Vase that is holding the silk flowers.
I wish Lynda would stop interrupting her guest. She doesn’t let him finish whatever he is saying! Assuming she knows better? Why ask if you already have the answer?
Love the concept, but she keeps cutting him off interrupting
I love Brian Gluckstein. But Lynda please let him finish his sentences. You keep on interrupting him. He has alot of interesting things to share, of which we would like to hear. Thank you brian for sharing your private spaces and personal life with us. Love light and blessings.
He can’t finish one thought! Let him talk woman!!
I had the same response! She kept interrupting him and it was so distracting. I have stopped and started this video 3 times and I still can't get through it. It's sad because I so admire his work and was hoping to learn something ☹️.
Looove Brian Gluckstein. He has timeless taste and his tips are always fantastic
Yes ! Looking at Dining room drapes , realized that I made them 28 yrs ago. Been putting off for some time. New pattern Gold Check ! Replaces A Chintz ! Looking to the Garden. Add a Pergola we always wanted !
What a great idea! I love Gluckstein, the man is so talented and comes across like such a nice person. Can’t wait for the next meeting!!!
Fantastic story of the 1927 rebuilt home...
Gary is so handsome! ❤
Love Brian and Gary.

That was so fun. I’ll be sure to tune in next week. I’m looking forward to Brian’s kitchen tour!
More Brian(&Gary)...Always ❤️ hearing his take on decor!!
I want to move in Gary and Brian, what a lovely energy 💕
Love your chit chat, it was fun to watch!
THANK YOU for saying "chit chat"! It was EXACTLY what we were able to participate in - convo among friends! It was fun, inspirational, and informative. I loved it too! @sreejaya Bahattacharjee Godfrey / Olga

The design and colors have held up well in his house.
The lake house will look nice redone in shingles.
That's one lucky pooch - the ceramic tray holding his biscuits is gorgeous ;)
Absolutely delightful!
I really enjoy long vlog style videos like this. Definitely would watch more of these!
Oh I enjoyed this so much. I've loved Brian a looong time ;) Thank you all for doing this!!
Loved it!! Looking forward to more episodes. Still enjoying my subscription to House and Home, but this is an added bonus. Stay safe.
Luv Brian 😘...Gary is cute...seem so supportive of Brian 👌
Your silk flowers are gorgeous.
ARCHIE's over-the-shoulder glare at the camera with that biscuit in his mouth @32:43 took me OUT!!! 🤣🤣😭❤️❤️❤️❤️ SOOO CUTE!!
Like Oprah Winfrey says "Your home should rise up to meet you." Amen.
Samsung Tv - Oprah does the same when interviewing her guest. So using her as an example is a bad idea😊
That was good!! Looking forward to the kitchen tour next week. Thanks for doing this.
Linda keeps cutting him off. Let him finish his sentence and thought. Also Linda was all over the place with the interview
True, let all of us know what Brian has to say. Even interrupted with the (darling) pup. Yeah!
This is an amazing idea!
Thank you for welcoming us to your space.
I look forward to the color names on his new project, thank you.
Best distraction ever💚🌞
I wish Lynda didn't interrupt Brian so often. She kept redirecting the conversation back to her. I wanted to hear his complete thought!
He's being interrupted all the time. Ask a question, then listen to his answer.
Becky - totally agree. ...she is so annoying😩
And he was so polite
Becky Sharper....She is a terrible interviewer....interrupts in every episode. A shame, as I usually enjoy the guests.
We sold our family house we built 31 years ago. We downsized 2/3 of our stuff and moved cities into a condo. Miss the solidity of our brick home and it’s silence. But life moves on and we are near family...
So rue about refreshing the house!
loved this show! what a great idea for all decor lovers!
Loved it ❤
Gosh! Brian's husband is so cute!
Lynda would you kindly share the brand and scent of the candle?
Honestly, Gary is bloody handsome 😁
Hi! Can you tell me more about the carpet Brian is using for his client he showed us?
Fabulous....please do more ...🥝☘️🥝☘️🥝we r at home in NZ and dying to get to Ireland for our annual trip home ...be patient says hubby . She asks a question and then moves on before they can answer. 9min in and now I’m done. Reminds me of talking to my narcissistic boss
Twenty years!!
I had the feeling that Brian didn’t want Gary to join in.Once he sent him to start the car, other to cook and Gary seemed fond to have been chatting
Poor thing! 🤭😢
Raquel Isla right. He told him to start the car after they just got done saying stay inside
Miss Linda, please stop interrupting your guests. You have to let your guests finish and complete their statement.
Out and about for food and medicines: When I’m in the supermarket, I buy flowers for Shabbat. Out at Walmart, passed Home Depot and picked up outdoor flowers to place near mailbox. Both are signs of hope and gratitude to G o d.

Name of the creamy, goldy color would be very helpful, please.
I wish you did the latest PML home.
She kept interrupting 😓 She’s an incredible women, but the interruptions were distracting. I wanted to hear what he was speaking about!
Yay. Emilia Wisnewski next
Lynda looks so posh in her... what is that? A cardigan?
She is not listening, she talks over him constantly, Im sure she is amazing at her job but she is a dreadful interviewer
thanks for making everyone feel poor :)
poor is a state of mind.
I can't do it. I'm nauseated how she keeps interrupting. Oh boy
Sorry the green, looks like a second hand shop.
I adore Brian! What a cutie pie but I find Linda is coming off pretentious.
And we decided tha.. LINDA “aNd TELL me what You arE DoinG nao. Oh okay well recently I am working o... LINDA “wHAts yOUr FavoUrite Color?” I really like this sandy blue colo... LINDA “I LovE thaT BooK he’s so HandsOme”
Great talk Brian Bye
She is the cut off QUEEN... My goodness😩 I couldn't interact with her.
Why is it improper to buy real flowers?
Keep interrupting, Lynda, fer shure. And promote your magazine. Isn’t this supposed to be an interview with Brian? The purpose of which is to hear what BRIAN has to say? Gah!
Seriously people care about this?
