Hi Sharbears 🐻 what’s your first period story? Spill the tea sis!! Binge more in my All About Periods playlist and follow me on Instagram (instagram.com/sharoncancio) to be shoutout off the day! Love you 💜
At my school in the girls bathroom some girls made a box that said “if you have extra pads or tampons, feel free to put them in here for anyone who needs one” the bin is always so full and everyone always tries to fill it up. Girls are so wholesome 🥰
That’s an amazing idea my school doesn’t have that and it’s hard to find pads if I need them because it comes as a surprise when you get your period at school and don’t have anything so I think that’s an amazing thing and every womens bathroom should have that
I don't really have a period horror story thankfully, but if any of you do get your first period, I encourage you to not be scared to ask your parents/guardians for supplies. I don't have the best relationship with my mom but when I got my first period, I just asked her if she could buy me pads and she did and that was that
@@waddellar I think I have social anxiety it horrifies me talking to anyone. And I know it’s normal and I shouldn’t be ashamed of it and I’m not it’s more like how things will change and the fact that my mom is so open about it to everyone in the family and I feel scared to have to text her every month that it started that feels awkward. Also why would it help to tell her how long I feel like it wouldn’t really matter?
@@waddellar I just use toilet paper but I guess I don’t have a very heavy flow cuz that is usually fine. It’s just even more embarrassing tho cuz I have a twin and she hasn’t gotten hers yet and I have already had mine for a year so I don’t know what everyone would think
omg i hated it when my mum told anyone she knew that i had started my period. And later that week, we went to my aunty's house and all the women there said "congratulations" or "you're a big girl now!", god it was way too embarrassing.
I hate that soooo much. And my mom has this friend who gossips SO much and I was begging her not to tell that friend bc the whole town is gonna know if she tells her.
Oh god- before this pandemic started my grandma was visiting and she and my mom were talking the night before this happened, and apparently she asked if I had gotten my period and my mom said yes hesitantly because she new she was going to make a big deal out of it and my grandma cried and said stuff like “she’s a woman..” my mom said I was a 12 year old in 6th grade, not a woman- but my grandma still brought it up to me in casual conversation the next day. She didn’t really think about how this would affect me- this made me really embarrassed, like other stuff she does to. “Hey, you know what your mom told me last night?” “What?” “You got your period.”
Omg I remember my first period, my teacher told me to call someone and I called my dad. I told him proudly saying, "Dad I started", he was so happy. Everyone was surprised that I wasn't confused but I learned what to do at 7.
My first period story So in 5th grade my friend got her period, “she was like the acting older person in the group” she was telling us all about it. I was 10 at the time and was so scared. I was thinking why do we have to have it for most of our life, and was really scared to get mine; wishing that I would never have to get mine while at school or any kinda of public place. Fast forward a year my wish kinda came true, and the Covid pandemic started and we had to stay at home. So at the end of March 2020 I remember it was a Friday afternoon and I had to go to the washroom while doing online school. So I left and when I got into the washroom I saw in my underwear a little bit of blood. I was so freaked out, I didn’t tell my mom that day and I just put toilet paper in my underwear. I didn’t finish my school work that day but then on Saturday morning when I woke up, I went to the washroom to check. There was a lot of blood, and I didn’t know where my mother kept the pads. So I decided to go downstairs and tell my mom. I just told her that I think I got my period because the water is pink. She then came back upstairs with me and showed me how to put a pad onto your underwear and stuff like that. Fast forward to 2021, I’m in 8th grade now. I’m so used to having a period and feel so much maturer now!
Here is my first period story I had first learnt about periods at school when I was in 4th grade. I had always been super freaked out about getting it and wished that I got it super late since I eventually had to get it. Fast forward to 6th grade my nightmare had kinda come true. We had just had our school annual function which ended super late and I had a really bad stomach ache that night. The next morning I wake up to there being blood in underwear and I start freaking out because I had exams in less than a week and i didn't wanna have to deal with a period while preparing for my exams. The worst thing about it was that these were my first ever serious exams. Ever since then I have been getting my period whenever I have exams.
10:18-10:25-"I don't need the blood of Christ, I suddenly just have my own." lol This was not offensive to me at all, but it was pretty funny :) keep that humor coming Sharon. love you
When I got my first period I was across the country from my mom visiting my dad, at that time my anxiety was bad, it took me 20 minutes to ask my stepmom for a pad, luckily she was so supportive and she helped me, she is the best person and I hope all of you ladies have someone you can trust to help you durning your first or 100th period ❤️
Got my first one today. My mother found out immediately and bombarded me with questions, I replied simply “I knew it would happen, so I educated myself.” I was so nervous to tell her & hid (for almost 2 months) that I already had been spotting huge amounts (brown in color), but if you get it and are scared to tell someone, don’t be-it’s a natural bodily function ‼️
My First period story: First day of fifth grade (year six) I was ten years old Went to the bathroom and saw it, my teachers taught us about periods in grade 4 (year 5) so me and my friends new about periods, anyways my friends- thinking that I had been in the toilet for ages- came and asks if I was okay. Honestly this is perfect timing. I am on my time of the month. My first period was a horror and super heavy. So glad that time was over. This was just perfect! Gonna grab my pads lmao! I love your spooky season can't wait, 8:21 OMG. When I got my first period I was peeing and wearing white underwear and it smelled suspicious but I didn't know. My underwear was wet so when I saw I was mortified and screamed and started crying. My mom consoled me and was really nice😄
I don't have a first period horror storie but this is what happened at school so like it was my first time on my period at school and I thought my pad fell out of my jacket pocket (my jacket was tied around my waist) then this boy in the hall said "what you got in your pocket" then I said " a pad why u want one" shout out to Sharon for teaching me that💖💖
I have one: my period just started this year and I’m going to the bathroom every period in school but now in order to go we have to sign out and they’re calling our parents if we’re going out a lot
i really like how sharon does these videos because not only is it entertaining but it also shows people that periods aren’t something to be embarrassed about and that we should be able to talk about them without feeling weird❤️
I got my first period today and I was really embarrassed but this video helped me feel better because it helped me think about how it’s normal and not embarrassing so thank you so much Sharon
I didn’t want to tell my mom so I sat next her on the sofa after calming myself down and I said ow my stomach it hurts so bad then my mom was like… and she figured it out
I got my first period a couple days ago and I thought I knew every single thing because I (not kidding) had watched all of just Sharon’s period vids, and multiple times each! But then when I got it, I realized I DIDNT learn everything about it from her because I thought you bled at any time, (true) but I thought it was ONCE A DAY for a week. Gosh I’m already so fed up with getting it like 3-4 times a day 😂
When I first got mine, I thought it was supposed to be a giant river of blood, like enough to fill a sink if it was plugged, but I didn't know it was going to be soooo light, so I was surprised that that's what a period is 😂😂
Can we have a video where Sharon tells us about her first period like if it was embarrassing, if she didn't know what to do, if it started at school, etc.
I got my period today and the first thing I did was text my mom and told her to get me stuff. She told me to Make a list and I went right to your channel and found a kit and then starting binging even more of your videos. The only reason I know everything about periods is because of you! You prob won't see this but if you do thanks for your help :)
I saw the thumbnail and the one that said “I didn’t tell my mom for 3 months” I can relate to that cause at first I didn’t think much of it and I though it was something else-
Y’all since we’re on the topic of periods, I’ve found that using a menstrual cup while on your period at your boyfriends is so helpful because there’s no tampons or pads in the trash and for me that was a big fear. It also lasts longer and has actually saved me
When I had my first one, my mom literally called every women in the family. And whenever I visited my aunt's, they'd be like "is your period okay?" Or like "do you need any pads?" And I was really annoyed.
Today I was having a really bad day because I woke up and realized that I started my period and then I had to get braces. I have been crampy and my mouth has hurt so bad all day. Luckily this video was able to take my mind off of the pain
I’m on day two and just suffered through cramps in a volleyball tournament, this definitely made my day, sending virtual love and chocolate and cramp medicine
My first period went like this: At 11 years old, I was on a family vacation, and for a couple days i kept seeing a bunch of brown stuff in my underwear. I didnt tell my mom right away. After a bit I got the courage to tell my mom what was happening and she said it was my period. I started crying because I didn't want it yet, and she had to run to the store to grab pads for me that night. When she got home, she taught me how to put it in my underwear. Thanks mom for teaching me
My dance teacher would literally help any girl, a girl in my team needed a pad and she told the teacher and she told her to go to her office and to get them in her drawer.
I always keep pads and some pantie liner's (for if your laying down, put them in the back, over lapping the pad a bit, so you won't leak through) in my bag in a small pouch one a Vitorias secret one and if annoe asks here!
I'm part Latina and luckily my mom didn't go telling everyone she knows when I got my first period bc it happened to her. My grandmother literally told the neighbors when she got it and all the primas and tias lol 😆
i really relate to the pj pants one cuz i was preforming at a football game in front of at LEAST 300 people and my period had been really light so i thought i could take off my uncomfortable pad until it was over but when it was over i had blood all over my tights
On my first period I was in 5th grade and when it happened I was at school, I changed my underwear and wore a pad I had in my bag just in case this ever happened, someone (who just so happened to be a boy) found bloody underwear next to the lockers, I panicked thinking it was mine but when the teacher asked who’s it was I quietly said mine, he was holding them on a stick and just threw them at me looking disgusted, he even said I was gross for having a period at school, I cried in front of the whole class and they all just looked at me awkwardly 😬 I figured out later that the underwear weren’t actually mine
Ok I got my period and I was at a camp without my parents. I bled on my underpants and I thought that it was so dirt but the I wiped and realized what it was. So I put toilet paper in my underwear cuz I didn’t know what else to do. I went 2 days without pads or Panny liners. I started to cry because the cramps hurt so bad and told everyone that I was just sad we have to leave. Everyone there was a girl and now I’m looking back wondering why I didn’t just tell the adults.
When i was younger like elementary young i hadn't yet been informed about anything related to the women's menstrual cycle, so when i first got it i felt this really uncomfortable feeling down there i asked to go to the bathroom and i walked out. I walked into the stall and saw blood i was actually shockingly calm i delt with it until i got home and waited for my mom to get home. When she did i informed her and she was panicked but also surprised how calm i was since it was my first period and knew nothing about what was happening. I will forever remember that, my second one i bleed though my PJ's onto my bed and that's when i hated everything about my period
This is making me scared to get my period ,I watch period related like what to bring to school in case I get it at school so I watch Sharon’s vids to get ready to have it .Thanks so much Sharon🥰🥰🥰
I’m so happy my mom wasn’t one of those moms who told everyone I’m already a shy and insecure person so if she had done that I would never leave my house ever again
My first period "horror" story : I'm in boarding school, and I got my first period Monday night. I went to my suitcase to get the pads I always kept in there because I was and still am 14 (it was less then a year a ago) so I knew it was going to come soon, but, in absolute horror, I realised I had left them at my house. I told my best friend the next day and she offered me pads but like a dumbass I refused and had to go through my first period relying only on toilet paper. Hopefully there wasnt that much blood.
2:53 My teacher uses that term all the time.. I’m in an all girls class and my teacher says she had to put up with it too but we all know that her saying “periods aren’t an excuse” isn’t something to tell a bunch of girls that are probably 🩸BlEeDiNg🩸out their ✨vAjAyJaY✨
At my school I’m honestly relieved that we don’t have to ask others for pads or tampons because like in the main office there is a cupboard full of supplies so that’s really helpful
I started watching Sharon when I was 8 and here I am at 11 three years later ,and when I got my first period I was so prepared because I watched her vids for 3 years !
I remember last week we were in math class talking about how cramps hurt and etc. and this girl from another table right next us had JUST gotten it like right then so she asked some girls to “check her” and so they gave her a pad and she was waiting for the teacher to tell her she can use the bathroom. My friend Jess said put your sweater around your waist and go we got chu, and the rest of the girls were like just go to the bathroom well cover for you if anything. And this was a pretty small class room and are teacher (male) didn’t make a big deal about it and continued teach to Everyone else.
My friends and I were talking about our periods and I had not had mine yet along with an other girl. One of my friends was like I'm on my period today then asked me Whitney have you started yet? I said no and when I got home woopdiedo I started and now her nick name is the jinxer.
ahaha i have the perfect story for this. i wish i was making this up i got my first period the morning of 9th grade homecoming my dress was white and the whole night i was so paranoid
My friend and I were in a bathroom at a candy shop and we were talking about our periods. We didn't know that their was a young girl in the bathroom with us and when we came out, the girl looked horrified.
Here’s my first period horror story: I was 10 years old at the time, I was on a week long residential trip for school and on the first morning there I noticed I had blood all over the sheets of my bed there. And when I went to the toilet my underwear was full of blood. And that day we went on a hike and everyone went swimming in a lake including the teachers and I had to sit on the river bank and watch… I only got to know why I was bleeding out of my downstairs area (what I call it lol) the day before we went back. I’m now 15 almost 16 so it’s been over 5 years and tbh when I was taught about it I didn’t think I would have had a period pause episode for all of 2022 (let’s just hope it doesn’t go fully into 2023… I got it January not February so I’m just hoping this month lol)
Okay. This is why I love my school. Not only does everyone bring their own pads and tampons, but they uninstalled the machines where girls need to pay for a tampon, and instead they put a little woven basket with tampons and pads, along with little rose flowers with a note that says. “Take what you need girl, we got you!”
@@virginiastouffer2313 mine was like Saturday night but then it was 9 days early and now my 6th period was 3 days early. Hopefully itll go back to Saturdays lol
This isn’t a horror story or even my first period story but really wanted to share. My social studies teacher is so nice. So I went to the bathroom during that class and realized I leaked through my tampon but my other tampons were in my backpack which were in the classroom. So I went into the classroom and just said I have to go back to the bathroom. Right away I could tell she understood and she said of course. Obviously this isn’t a big deal but I really appreciate this teacher. She didn’t ask any questions or make it awkward, she just knew. Thank you to my teacher.(this was all yesterday btw.)
So apparently, my friend got her period a month ago, she asked me what do I do when I get my period. We both went over to a teacher and the teacher told us that that was disgusting and we should not talk about especially in front of boys
Im in sixth grade and the boys have COMPLETELY normalized periods, some of them (very few) say that it’s nasty.Us girls feel safe to talk about our periods & we are PROUD of our periods. This means that we have evolved.
I'm in 7th grade and whenever I pull out a pad from by backpack everybody stares at me(I try to be sneaky but I am really obvious) It is so embarrassing.
@@zoeboudreaux8029 hey im also in 7th grade. so what i do is leave a stash of supplies in my locker and i take a detour to my locker on the way to the bathroom so i dont have to let everyone know what im doing lol. hope this helps
I got my first period the day after my 11th birthday and didn't tell my mom for 6 months. I just used pantie liners the whole time. my mom found out cause I accidentally left it in my underwear on laundry day. When she found out she told woman she knows.
Gurl I am having the worst first period I have had it for weeks and weeks now I am getting an ultrasound and blood drawn (I hate needles 💉) it’s pretty horrible but the bad thing is I for some reason have been looking forward to this for like years 😂😥 but you will get me through it cause watching this vid let’s me know I am not the only one 😂 love your vids sis 😁🤍✨
When I first got mine my mum told everyone at church (we are Christian) and when I walked in all the old lady's walked up to me and were like "congratulations" and I didn't say it but I was so confused and was just like "for what?" It was terrifying
5:55 I was watching your videos and then a day later I was thinking "What if I got my first period right now" then I went to the bathroom and I had gotten my period 😭
My period horror story wasn't to bad but still bad. My mom made sure I knew how to react when i got my first period, teaching me to tell her immediately for her help pputting on a pad. My mother had gotten extremely unwell and it turns out she and my dad both got covid. 2 days after my mom got sick, my first period came! I had. to take care of it myself and this was before my biology teacher started teaching us sex ed. Thankfully my mom gave me her own version of sex ed classes by making me read books about periods making me normalise talking about it so I was fine!
my first period was literally during covid hopefully i knew all about it and like it has been a year or two so i got used to it but i am still new to it my first period went without any difficulties no cramps and nothing else but now i have like so painful cramps that i can barely move watching this video to relief my cramps love you sharon
Guess what! Today I got mine (not my first) and it was killing me… I begged my parents to come pick me up and slept the minute I got home 😁. Cramps got better but knowing my body it’ll get worse tomorrow meaning I’m going to miss my very first Pep Rally as a freshman 🥲.

Can we have a video where Sharon tells us about her first period like if it was embarrassing, if she didn't know what to do, if it started at school, etc.
before mine started my mom kept warning me because seeing my own blood always scared and she didnt know how i would react. it all turned out fine.
I don’t even have mine but I love seeing your videos and knowing that I can come to your page for help when I do get my period
I got my period today and the first thing I did was text my mom and told her to get me stuff. She told me to Make a list and I went right to your channel and found a kit and then starting binging even more of your videos. The only reason I know everything about periods is because of you! You prob won't see this but if you do thanks for your help :)
Was this ur first period??
I saw the thumbnail and the one that said “I didn’t tell my mom for 3 months” I can relate to that cause at first I didn’t think much of it and I though it was something else-
Y’all since we’re on the topic of periods, I’ve found that using a menstrual cup while on your period at your boyfriends is so helpful because there’s no tampons or pads in the trash and for me that was a big fear. It also lasts longer and has actually saved me
Great tip! I will definitely use!
Oh wait…, I don’t have a bf
Why would you not be able to put pads or tampons in ur boyfriend’s trash can?
@@hildalundgren7633 after a while it starts to make the bathroom smell and I just personally don’t feel comfortable with him staring at it every day
@@kikiz8002 why would he stare at the trash
@@emilialaurenn you haven’t ever glanced at the trash? There’s no way you haven’t ever looked in the trash in your life 🤦♀️
When I had my first one, my mom literally called every women in the family. And whenever I visited my aunt's, they'd be like "is your period okay?" Or like "do you need any pads?" And I was really annoyed.
That would piss me of
I feel you
Today I was having a really bad day because I woke up and realized that I started my period and then I had to get braces. I have been crampy and my mouth has hurt so bad all day. Luckily this video was able to take my mind off of the pain
Awe sounds rough
Omg the girls boyfriend who stood up for her!!😊🥰
This video came out at the best time, on my period too! Love you Sharon!❤️
I got my first period during/after watching you. It's been a good while now since then.
I'm on day 6 of my period and this just made my day😂 Sharon is so enlightening ♥️
I’m on day 2 and I had horrible cramps all morning. This made my day as well❤️

I save these videos specifically for when I’m on my period just so I know I’m not suffering alone 😭
me.. watching this… on my period that i literally got last night😩, thank you sharon😌, perfect timing !!!❤️❤️
My first period went like this:
At 11 years old, I was on a family vacation, and for a couple days i kept seeing a bunch of brown stuff in my underwear. I didnt tell my mom right away. After a bit I got the courage to tell my mom what was happening and she said it was my period.
I started crying because I didn't want it yet, and she had to run to the store to grab pads for me that night. When she got home, she taught me how to put it in my underwear.
Thanks mom for teaching me
i always love these specific videos. ur the best sharon 🤍🤩
My dance teacher would literally help any girl, a girl in my team needed a pad and she told the teacher and she told her to go to her office and to get them in her drawer.
i hope both sides of her pillow are at the perfect temperature

But When I saw that you posted a new video and it cheered me right up!
I started watching your videos like a year ago exactly when I was expecting my first period. I still don’ have it but you definitely helped so much
8 months later… do you have it yet??!!
I had not gotten my period but this helped me prepare so much. It really helps me know what to expect. You are so helpful. Thanks so much! :)
Thats sad
Cousins(f) and aunts! Sorry I'm learning Spanish and was pleased to recognise something and know what it means 🙂🤣

Nothing better than watch the video being in my period and dying inside, thanks mother nature. Lov u Shar ❤️
I love these videos, and you're awesome Sharon
By far one of my favorite period horror videos!
I still have not had my period yet but for some reason im soooo excited love you so much sharon
i really relate to the pj pants one cuz i was preforming at a football game in front of at LEAST 300 people and my period had been really light so i thought i could take off my uncomfortable pad until it was over but when it was over i had blood all over my tights
I can't wait to see what this video is about. Love u 😍😍😍💖
These make me feel so much better about my first period
Welp. "The best time is to get it around halloween" PFFF- please. I got mine 4-5 days before Christmas :) I WASNT JUST UNWRAPPING PRESENTS
I’m so happy my mom wasn’t one of those moms who told everyone I’m already a shy and insecure person so if she had done that I would never leave my house ever again
I was watching these thinking that if i watch these the universe won’t let me get it bc I can’t be watching and getting 😂😂😂

My teacher uses that term all the time..

Omg i haven't even watched the video yet and Sharon has made my day!
My friends and I were talking about our periods and I had not had mine yet along with an other girl. One of my friends was like I'm on my period today then asked me Whitney have you started yet? I said no and when I got home woopdiedo I started and now her nick name is the jinxer.

i got my first period the morning of 9th grade homecoming
my dress was white and the whole night i was so paranoid

My friend and I were in a bathroom at a candy shop and we were talking about our periods. We didn't know that their was a young girl in the bathroom with us and when we came out, the girl looked horrified.

Here’s my first period horror story:
I was 10 years old at the time, I was on a week long residential trip for school and on the first morning there I noticed I had blood all over the sheets of my bed there. And when I went to the toilet my underwear was full of blood. And that day we went on a hike and everyone went swimming in a lake including the teachers and I had to sit on the river bank and watch…
I only got to know why I was bleeding out of my downstairs area (what I call it lol) the day before we went back.
“Take what you need girl, we got you!”
tbh, my period schedule is a bit messy, but most of the times, I get my periods on a Sunday evening, like 90%
so yea, I feel blessed-
oh my gosh so do i... ive had my period since December 4th 2020 and that's a Sunday, ever since then its ALWAYS been a Sunday!!
@@virginiastouffer2313 mine was like Saturday night but then it was 9 days early and now my 6th period was 3 days early. Hopefully itll go back to Saturdays lol
@@virginiastouffer2313 hehehe high five period sis
Omg I was just watching one of your recent videos 😭❤
Love you Sharon. 💜💜 I’m so excited for spooky season!!!!! Eeekkkk!! yay!!! 👻🎃
Im in sixth grade and the boys have COMPLETELY normalized periods, some of them (very few) say that it’s nasty.Us girls feel safe to talk about our periods & we are PROUD of our periods. This means that we have evolved.
omg the whole world needs this!!!!!
@@zoeboudreaux8029 don’t be embarrassed,it’s completely normal.If they can’t understand then that’s ok,they’ll just have to deal w it.
3:23 I just realized that if I was writing something on the board then blood starts dripping down in FRONT OF MY WHOLE CLASS, WHAT WILL I DO???
I got my first period the day after my 11th birthday and didn't tell my mom for 6 months. I just used pantie liners the whole time. my mom found out cause I accidentally left it in my underwear on laundry day. When she found out she told woman she knows.

Thankfully my mom gave me her own version of sex ed classes by making me read books about periods making me normalise talking about it so I was fine!
my first period was literally during covid hopefully i knew all about it and like it has been a year or two so i got used to it but i am still new to it my first period went without any difficulties no cramps and nothing else but now i have like so painful cramps that i can barely move
