Well my art teacher deserves a big shout out because in art today I hadn't noticed that I got my period. I had gotten up to sharpen my pencil, he came over and whispered 'I think you leaked' so I thanked him and went to my bag to look for period supply and couldn't find any. My teacher told me to wrap my sweat shirt around my waist, grab my backpack and come with him,it was only about a minute before the end of the class and he told me to put my head down and look like I got in trouble since he was taking me to the office. My teacher said, as a dad to two girls he understands. We seen the secretary and my teacher told her what happened.
period story: one time i had gotten my period at school and was having rlly bad cramps and couldn’t even walk properly. this one guy in my class asked why i was walking weirdly and i told him i was on my period. he literally started fake throwing up and calling me disgusting for having a period. my crush found out and made him apologise for it and also got me a heating pad from the nurses office to help with cramps. we are now dating
I was walking to school with a friend of mine. Suddenly my stomach hurts very much. He asked me if everything was alright. I said, it was probably just a bad cramp. He got really quiet. I was so confused, until he asked me if it was my period. I said no, when i got home from school my underpants were full of blood…Let‘s say, he is better at predicting my period than me…
Just in time! You have helped me so much with periods and understanding it. My mom and I don’t rlly have that bond, so thank you Sharon for being my role model ❤️
I agree expect I just never wanted to talk to my mom before but after I got my first period I started watching Sharon a lot more! Glad you’re figuring it out as well ❤️✨🩸
About the "Bowl of period supplies" I don't think our school would let us do that. But me and my friends have one in my locker. It's not just period supplies too! We've used it a couple times, it's really came in handy.
A group of girls at my high school started a “pad project” where in all female bathrooms they have a bowl of pads. They also donate feminine products to charities!
at my school all of the dispensers are always broken and in our big bathroom in the chapel we used to have a bucket but it was being misused and so they took it out, now i keep one in my locker of a bin of period supplies and i have a note on the outside of my locker that says "iykyk" and its really helpful, even the teachers have come and thanked me for it. my bucket is filled with chapsticks that u can take, extra masks, hand sanitizer, makeup remover (most people will touch up their makeup throughout the day (or teachers) so it makes it useful if u mess it up), pads, tampons, discs, panty liners, heat pad patch things, extra water bottles, lotion, floss, disposable toothbrush things, and asprin. we also sometimes fill up the rest of my locker with like extra shorts to go under ur skirt (since we wear a uniform and we wear skirts), some extra skirts in different sizes, and some hoodies. everyone always uses the clothes, goes home, washes it, and returns it to the locker. I dont use my locker thats why i have so much space for all of it
@꧂xxx.sweetly.xxx꧂ Wow that's amazing! Your so kind to do that for everyone. I have a story thats kinda the same but a tad but diffrent at my school there's 3 floors. The boys floor (2nd floor), girls floor (3rd floor) , and the bottom floor with the cafeteria and all kinds of other places with extra activities but anyway its always so much harder for the girls to get to the bathroom because the bathrooms are on the 1st floor and its a long ways so the BOYS actually put a period bucket on every staircase in case we didn't make it on time! >3 they were so nice
One time at school I was menstruating and in third period it started to leak, the teacher gave us ten minutes of free time to ourselves, and during that free time SHE wouldn’t let me use the restroom. My crush was also in that class. In fourth period, (who my crush was also in) was when it was leaking more and more. We had to pair up with a partner from the class and my bestie was telling me to come over to her desk, I stayed out bc I didn’t want anyone to see my wet chair- she got mad at me for not going to her desk even though I go there all the time, she was pissed but tbh why was she? If anything it was me who was pissed. She clearly didn’t get it- and in fifth period it was still leaking and I didn’t know what to do, my jacket wasn’t long enough to cover ykw. In my sixth period, PE, I decided not to change, because my pants were wet, I got in trouble for not changing, but idrc. MY CRUSH WAS ALSO IN THAT CLASS- it was a terrible day for me that day, all my nice clothes were dirty and I put together the not so good outfit that day, I woke up late and my hair was all frizzy and curly, I wore the worst shoes possible to school, it was raining, and I was on a heavy flow day 😒
As someone who helps teach dance classes, I don’t like students walking out of class with no explanation. For the younger students the answer may vary, but for the older students the answer will always be yes when they ask to go to the bathroom. I would never tolerate someone walking out of class with no explanation though. Much love ❤️
8:17 the thing about the box with period supplies. At my school (which is an “all girls school” btw) we have this thing called the red box project and it’s in msg of the higher authority teachers or things like that, like the head of year, deputy head etc. and i just wanted to say that I think it’s an amazing idea that every school should have something like that.
So... I was walking down the hallway, and then my crush came really close behind me, and gave me his hoodie, and said I'll need it and that I should go to the bathroom, I was confused, but I did what he said I soon found out I bled through my pants. Later that day he even gave me some chocolate he had... Let's just say I think I found myself the Man I wanna marry😍
I would definitely tell someone if they have a period stain on their pants. I also would give you pads if you ask me, I got you. Female teachers also try to stop girls from using the bathroom. I remember one time in high school a girl in one of my classes needed to use the bathroom to change her pad. She raised her hand and asked to go but the teacher said no. She asked again but the teacher still said no and said that she should have gone at lunch because the class was right after lunch. The girl muttered, well since you are being like that. And dug a pad out of her bag and walked out with the teacher yelling at her to come back. The girl came back when she was finished and the teacher wanted to act all empathetic like, oh you should have told me, you didn't have to go about it like that and blah blah blah. The girl was like, the point is you didn't let me go so I had to do what I had to do. The teacher never had a problem with letting anyone go to the bathroom after that. The teacher was a female btw.
In our school,we have period education. Usually a teacher visits every forth grade and lets the boys go out to play while keeping the girls in the classroom to tell them. She says everything we should know and it also comes with a free packadge of pads and a little book guide for us. Love the fact that our school does that. ❤
I have terrible hemeophobia ( blood phobia) and my period got me over it and I honestly thank it cause I struggled with it for so long but I’m still terrified of throw up lok
Sharon, thank you! You’ve helped me so much to be confident and okay with having a period. It’s amazing how inspirational you are to all of us girls. You’re truly amazing sis. 💜💜
This is perfect timing. I bled through my pants today, thankfully it wasn’t a lot and I was wearing black pants. I was so stressed I was gonna get blood on the bleachers 😭
Hey Sharon! Love your videos and your positive attitude. Your videos always make me feel like I’m having a conversation with a best friend. Love you! 💕
Hi Sharon I love watching your videos so much, thankyou so much. I was separated from my mum this year because of COVID, she was a few states away and I am currently living with my dad, I have not seen her since December of last year, and I started my period in January of this year so it was a tough situation because I was scared to tell my dad about it, and my mum wasn't there to help me, but after finding your channel, I learnt a lot more about periods and what to do, and I feel more comfortable, thankyou so much. (For reference my mum does know and I do talk about it with her).
3:47 am I the only that always had the teacher that would ask “is it a emergency?” Like I loved those teachers.. I once had this one teacher that saw I bled/leaked and she offered my a jacket and tampons/pads .. I will forever remember that teacher :’) and she didn’t like yell it to embarrasses me either she just came up to me and whispered- I will forever love and remember.. mrs. jen :)
I am literally so lucky because at my school, only girls are allowed to use the bathroom in class! haha! Once, my male history teacher pointed it out and a girl in my class asked to use the bathroom and he said yes because you're a girl
the only reason at my school that girls are allowed to go to the bathroom is because all the guys are popping milk cartons. they got caught one day for it sounding like a bomb because it is very loud. (there was like 20 people in there)
Here’s mine: So basically it was during class and my teacher only lets us go to the bathroom at lunch. And I really needed to change it because it was a study hall so I kept asking her and asking, then later I went out into the hall with some friends but first I noticed blood on my chair so I look at my skirt ( we have a uniform) and didn’t see anything but when I got outside all my friends saw it. There were 2 big stains so I told my teacher and she made me clean the chair and go to the bathroom and clean the skirt. Later In the day I asked her if I could go and she said “ Olivia you’ve been out of the classroom too much today go sit down” like girl I’m in 7th grade let me go I need too or I bleed through again do I kept asking and finally she let me go
12:11 thats me, I’ve had a phobia of blood since I was six and I passed out because of it. I just got my period 30 minutes ago and luckily didn’t pass out or throw up 😅( it was scary)
My summer job is working with kids age 11-17. Or rather I'm the one they go to when they have injured themselves doing all their camp activities. I can one hundred percent tell you that girls handle blood a ton better then any of the boys. The boys come in all frantic and holding their hand that is bleeding acting like they are dying. The girls calmly tell me that they are bleeding and are in need of assistance. It's pretty amusing how having to deal with blood regularly effects how they handle a cut on their hand.
i didnt get my period yet but my friend who did told me i have lots of signs of puberty/periods, and i know what to do/react because of you so thanks sharon
You are so inspirational to so many people! Some people may not be able to or doesn’t have a good relationship with a parent, you make it so much better! ❤️
Here's one of my school stories, but its bit a horror story just funny: So I was in 7th grade when this happened. We only got 3 bathroom passes per class to last us 10 weeks. I was on my period and needed to go to the bathroom but I didnt have any more passes. I asked the teacher if I could use the bathroom and he asked if I had a pass so I said no. He told me I couldnt go so I told him it was an emergency. He said I couldnt go since I didnt have a pass. We went back and forth like that like 2 more times and he just got this confused look on his face then his face lit up and he was like " ooooh. I'm so sorry. Yes you can go but be quick. The bell rings in 10 minutes. " it was so funny
I am so happy I got the sweetest male teacher ever ( my college professor) I could cry because of how amazing he is. He’s so understanding so he wouldn’t do this.
That happened to me in high school and instead of bells, it has an automated voice system. I was coming back from the bathroom when suddenly the hall doors closed and the auto voice announced a fire drill. I got scared because I thought I got locked in my school while everyone else was outside. I eventually found out the doors weren't locked and my teacher didn't notice I was missing as I found her outside with everyone else. Scary moment I hope to never go through again. This was in 2005, about a month after Hurricane Katrina.
Here’s the thing: when Sharon said “why would I lie about having a period?” I thought back to when I told my science who never gives bathroom passes I had a “girl emergency” even tho I didn’t just Bc I didn’t wanna be there…
Sad that people have stories like this but this teacher I had in seventh grade was a real good person my friend got her period in class and a boy said what’s on your chair teacher what’s on her chair. We were doing art and so the teacher went over there and secretly put a empty tube of red paint and it worked they thought she sat on a tube of paint that teacher is amazing
so i got my period a few days ago and i just need to know an few extra tips! like how to handle going ( also tysm for anyone who can help me out on how to go to bed with it or how to deal with it at school. :9
ok so idk if you should listening to me because i don’t have my period yet (i think it’s a few months away) but I recommend pads instead of tampons because tampons can’t get *stuck* up there- and can cause infections and also if your on your period i think you should probably take sweaters to school so if you bleed there you can tie it around your waist and stay away from white clothing! i hope this helped lol
@@stitchski2564 okay, though tampons get suck they don't usually if you put them in right. I'm not sure if they can cause infections so thx for letting me know. yes, I'm not gonna use tampons for maybe 1 or 2 more years from now to when my period can regulate. tysm.
@Just Sharon I got the best story EVER!😭😂 One time I was at school, In social studies and I felt a TSUNAMI brewin down there and I was like raising my hand but ofc, The teacher didn’t see me. In passing period I asked my friend if my pants were wet. She didn’t look all the way down, And like as a joke AS A JOKE She hit my butt. I went to the bathroom to see what kinda storm was brewin‘, And my grey pants, had turned red. I realized she hit my bloody butt😭😭😭
I had my period I. The school bathroom and while I was dealing with the crap ton of blood, I must have wiped my face and got blood in my face and did not known it. Bc I walked around school with blood on my face and someone told me my nose was bleeding and I just played along so I was not embarrassed 😂
I got my period in the middle of seventh grade history class but I didn't realize it so when I stood up, the boy behind me (who I had a crush on) shouted "Oh my god! You're bleeding!" And rushed me to the nurse's office where she explained periods to us. I ended up dating him until our sophomore year of high school.
so when i first got my my period, my mom only gave me panty liners (who knows why) so one morning i put one on and went to school. long story short, i bleed through my leggings onto my chair and then had to use one of the school’s pads.
14 GODDAMN WEEKS????? I literally make such a fuss even though I only get it for 1 week so I cannot fooking imagine what you're going through... I have absolutely no idea about what to do in such a situation but try drinking a lot of water and change your pads often.. just keep your hooha clean
@@natashamathews6182 Lol at this point I am just use to it, it doesn't even bother me anymore, like of course it is annoying but its just like whatever I don't care.
Hey Sharon I think yet another period has come and I forgot my period bag but luckily I had two pads in my backpack so got my pad and I Stuffed the pad in my sweatshirt and I'm pretty sure every kid in my class heard it and one of the boys in my class looked at me in a weird way and then I run to my nurses office so thanks for reading this and I love watching your video
bruh i was wearing white sweatpants and it was passing period and i was walking with my friend and felt it so i ran to the bathroom and i bled through my pants my mom wasn’t answering and i have super bad social anxiety so i took my also white sweater and put it around my waist. to this day my sweater is still clean😭
Not school related or anything but I came home from school today and my dog was in the bathroom eating a pad out of the garage never felt more disgusted
Y'all I have an embarrassing story So I was in ELA lab and I had to go change my pad because I had this class right after lunch and I didn't have my pads at lunch. So I asked if I could go to the bathroom mind you this teacher is a female. She was like can't you wait ten minutes, and I said no and then she said with a loud sigh, fine you can go but it's a tardy. This set me off and it didn't help that the guys in the class were all like, just hold it, and I'm thinking, I literally can't. Anyway on my way to the bathroom I began to cry and I was fine until I sat down at my desk again and continued to cry the rest of the class. Plus side, the guy I liked sat in front of me and tried to make me feel better.
Ewwww I’m bleeding Captain Obvious😂😂 very true point cause like we all bleed so what’s his problem? This really shows that guys don’t understand girl problems.
My story: was e learning a few years back and went on a bike to take a break. Fell off of my bike and badly bruised my side and scraped my elbow. I had a headache and felt dizzy. Went to the bathroom and boom. Thought I was dying but then remembered about periods, and then was worried- I think I set off my period by falling or it’s just a coincidence 😂 Still crazy because it was the day before Easter but I got to eat chocolate 🤷♀️
“Imagine having a period but also having a BLOOD PHOBIA!” Uh girl that’s me right here!!!! 😭 But thankfully it’s not as bad of a reaction when it’s my own blood
This November, EVERY WEEK I cried bcuz of something - sometimes I didn't vene knwo why - and I was like, if you're here just come...I manifested it...2 days later my period...I blame these 3 weeks of pain, stress, crying and suffering on my period xd
My coupler is avery boy and I had a mental breakdown in his office he said I was faking and I bled on his favorite chair and he yelled at me lol principal got involved

12:11 thats me, I’ve had a phobia of blood since I was six and I passed out because of it. I just got my period 30 minutes ago and luckily didn’t pass out or throw up 😅( it was scary)
Feel free to add this to a video :) I’m totally cool with it love you
My summer job is working with kids age 11-17. It's pretty amusing how having to deal with blood regularly effects how they handle a cut on their hand.
i’m so excited for this video! luv u sharon!!❤️❤️
i didnt get my period yet but my friend who did told me i have lots of signs of puberty/periods, and i know what to do/react because of you so thanks sharon
You are so inspirational to so many people! Some people may not be able to or doesn’t have a good relationship with a parent, you make it so much better! ❤️
Here's one of my school stories, but its bit a horror story just funny:
So I was in 7th grade when this happened.
2nd!!!!! Ilysm Sharon. Your videos make my day!!!! Even when I'm having such a bad day uve helped me through so much. ❤❤
“periods aren’t that bad”
*cell block tango into plays hauntingly in the distance*
Love the Norway picture in the backround! I'm part Norwegian so it makes me happy lol
Hi Sharon love your videos! Me and my friend binge your videos while having a girls night!
I found you 2 years ago ❤️✨😊 I’m so happy I found you straight after my period started the first time love u! ✨❤️😊
I am so happy I got the sweetest male teacher ever ( my college professor) I could cry because of how amazing he is. He’s so understanding so he wouldn’t do this.
The asking for the bathroom is mandatory because of safety. For instance, if there was a fire alarm, the teacher would know where the kid is.
But if I ask and they say no then that’s when imma walk out bc I need to go
@@khia7550 yh totally agree tho any teacher who says that is trippin
That happened to me in high school and instead of bells, it has an automated voice system. I was coming back from the bathroom when suddenly the hall doors closed and the auto voice announced a fire drill. I got scared because I thought I got locked in my school while everyone else was outside. I eventually found out the doors weren't locked and my teacher didn't notice I was missing as I found her outside with everyone else. Scary moment I hope to never go through again. This was in 2005, about a month after Hurricane Katrina.
Thanks for being my mom!!! This is only 22 min after you posted this. It’s an honor. Thanks
Here’s the thing: when Sharon said “why would I lie about having a period?” I thought back to when I told my science who never gives bathroom passes I had a “girl emergency” even tho I didn’t just Bc I didn’t wanna be there…
Saying the word “period” is not allowed is like saying the word “bandaid” is not allowed
GURL WHAT!!!!!
i love these stories, but you always get scared they will happen to you and feel so bad 😅 ily girl
Sad that people have stories like this but this teacher I had in seventh grade was a real good person my friend got her period in class and a boy said what’s on your chair teacher what’s on her chair. We were doing art and so the teacher went over there and secretly put a empty tube of red paint and it worked they thought she sat on a tube of paint that teacher is amazing
girl i’m sorry i’m late! i was helping out my friend! glad to see the new vid! tysm.
Video suggestion: How to deal with anxiety/stress while on it.
sharon's laugh is so wholesome! ly girlie
The bowl of period supplies is an amazing idea! Very smart!
So glad i found your channel, i was so uncomfy and embarrased abt my period until now
so i got my period a few days ago and i just need to know an few extra tips! like how to handle going ( also tysm for anyone who can help me out on how to go to bed with it or how to deal with it at school. :9
ok so idk if you should listening to me because i don’t have my period yet (i think it’s a few months away) but I recommend pads instead of tampons because tampons can’t get *stuck* up there- and can cause infections and also if your on your period i think you should probably take sweaters to school so if you bleed there you can tie it around your waist and stay away from white clothing! i hope this helped lol
@@stitchski2564 okay, though tampons get suck they don't usually if you put them in right. I'm not sure if they can cause infections so thx for letting me know. yes, I'm not gonna use tampons for maybe 1 or 2 more years from now to when my period can regulate. tysm.
@@emalisa372 wow! much good tips tysm for being so kind.
@@El-jn3nb yw! :)
For night time wear period underwear with a night pad to prevent leaking

You’ve helped me become more confident thank you so much
@Just Sharon
I got the best story EVER!😭😂
One time I was at school,
In social studies and I felt a TSUNAMI brewin down there and I was like raising my hand but ofc,
The teacher didn’t see me.
In passing period I asked my friend if my pants were wet.
She didn’t look all the way down,
And like as a joke AS A JOKE
She hit my butt.
I went to the bathroom to see what kinda storm was brewin‘,
And my grey pants, had turned red.
One time this school I went to was a jr high and high school. inside the washroom there was a huge bowl of period prodects for free, lifesaver.
I loved it when you said * I NEED TO SHUT UP* and then cackled🤣🤣
i was dying when you joked about going on a date with your period omfg 🤣
I got my period in the middle of seventh grade history class but I didn't realize it so when I stood up, the boy behind me (who I had a crush on) shouted "Oh my god! You're bleeding!" And rushed me to the nurse's office where she explained periods to us. I ended up dating him until our sophomore year of high school.
2:41 I had a breakdown yesterday before school🥲
so when i first got my my period, my mom only gave me panty liners (who knows why) so one morning i put one on and went to school. long story short, i bleed through my leggings onto my chair and then had to use one of the school’s pads.
Hi sis!!! I love you and your videos so much, and I just wanna thank you for being you (:
I’ve been educating myself on RUclips about periods so when I do get mine I DONT think I’m dying
BRO I HAVE BEEN ON MY PERIOD FOR 14 WEEKS STRAIGHT HELP ME (yes I have seen a doctor, now I am 12 and on birth control that isn't helping at all)
That is my nightmare. I am so sorry for you. I can't even imagine that I hate going anywhere when I'm on my period.
everyone is different! i am so sorry that happened! hope it gets ack to normal.
14 GODDAMN WEEKS????? I literally make such a fuss even though I only get it for 1 week so I cannot fooking imagine what you're going through... I have absolutely no idea about what to do in such a situation but try drinking a lot of water and change your pads often.. just keep your hooha clean
@@natashamathews6182 i feel bad too.
@@natashamathews6182 Lol at this point I am just use to it, it doesn't even bother me anymore, like of course it is annoying but its just like whatever I don't care.
Im glad my school uniform's trousers and jacket are black 😅
HI SHARON!! love your videos ! I ALSO follow u on tiktok! ❤
Hi! Thank you for making these awesome videos!
YES ANOTHER VIDEO!!!!! Love you!!
Not school related or anything but I came home from school today and my dog was in the bathroom eating a pad out of the garage never felt more disgusted
my dog does the same thing, i almost puked when my dog did that. hope you have a good day and hope your dog is okay. heh.
abort it lmao
My neighbor, she is scared of blood
Y'all I have an embarrassing story
So I was in ELA lab and I had to go change my pad because I had this class right after lunch and I didn't have my pads at lunch.
Also, sorry for the essay
That boy was so nice and caring
Damn... Well at least you know that you have a good taste in men ig? Coz that boy is a real one
Ewwww I’m bleeding Captain Obvious😂😂 very true point cause like we all bleed so what’s his problem? This really shows that guys don’t understand girl problems.
im early ilysm sharon!❤️
Love that this was posted during my cycle
My story: was e learning a few years back and went on a bike to take a break. Fell off of my bike and badly bruised my side and scraped my elbow. I had a headache and felt dizzy. Went to the bathroom and boom. Thought I was dying but then remembered about periods, and then was worried- I think I set off my period by falling or it’s just a coincidence 😂 Still crazy because it was the day before Easter but I got to eat chocolate 🤷♀️
that’s such good timing. 😂
@@El-jn3nb also glad that I was e learning so I didn’t bleed in class
I was just watching one of your videos period videos for school and came her love you 💜
“Imagine having a period but also having a BLOOD PHOBIA!”
Uh girl that’s me right here!!!! 😭
But thankfully it’s not as bad of a reaction when it’s my own blood
This November, EVERY WEEK I cried bcuz of something - sometimes I didn't vene knwo why - and I was like, if you're here just come...I manifested it...2 days later my period...I blame these 3 weeks of pain, stress, crying and suffering on my period xd

When you’re early and you don’t know what to say except for OMG which is the comment of the day.
My coupler is avery boy and I had a mental breakdown in his office he said I was faking and I bled on his favorite chair and he yelled at me lol principal got involved
I love this it has cheered me up on a school morning
It's the way what Sharon said at 12:05 basically foreshadowed a secret in the 12th episode of this-
4:09 actually, here in nz we have nicer school and a good thing from them is you dont have to ask to go to the bathroom
i learned what a period from you and im so lucky that i found you because now i have a period now and i know want to do
