Oh wow, that took me back in time. How some things have thankfully stayed the same. Some parts need a bit sprucing up, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Would've loved to have just a little of your commentary though.....🥰 1964, the Futurist Theatre, saw the Searchers and the Zombies.....what a night....xx
This piece of film is what we need for the future. When your grandchild asks , 50 years from now, “what was it like in the olden days. 50 years ago. “. I remember what Scarborough was like 60 years ago. I thoroughly enjoyed this and hope that many more will. Seeing so many Union Jacks flying, especially in Scarborough gives me hope for the future. Please God we cannot lose all this. Great Britain Forever.
What an exceptional day at my favourite sea side, Scarborough! Whilst I lived in England for ten years, I had to make sure to get to Scarborough every summer. Love it there. We would take the Lift down to the seafront, walk the long walk up the sea front and then take the upper decker bus at the end of the day back to the lifts. I was so excited when you took us in J & J Chrisitans, it was one of my favourite shops to have a gander in looking for my fat beach ladies. I have a huge collection. Thanks Neil for that unexpected surprise and thanks for the lovely day outing in Scarborough! :)

I had to do a double take when I saw the length of this video, what a treat. It was enjoyable from start to finish, I feel as though I’ve had a good day at the seaside. I see that there are a couple of comments disagreeing with the music , but I love it the way you’ve played it at the beginning and at the end. I love to hear that particular song on your seaside videos its like your theme tune. The drone footage at the end was a nice extra touch. What was not to love about this video. It left me with a smile on my face. Thank you😊 👍

Hi no unfortunately not, but feel like i am. We live in Pontefract but ive been coming to Scarborough from the age of about 4 years old. Myself & daughter & grandsons come about 3-4 times a year, staying for weekends & a week in August with the lovely Carys & Kevin at Blands cliff lodge. Made some lovely friends over the years, especially Helen at ‘Home by Helen’. My favourite place in the world, would love to retire there eventually❤️
Jane your reply struck a chord my wife and I have been going to Scarborough two or three times a year for some years. Unfortunately with all the carry on we haven't managed down for more than two years but we are heading down in a month or so, can't wait. In my next life I'm coming back as a Yorkshireman

Weve left it late this year and havent booked in to our normal B&B as they were on about selling up so we didnt arrange to stay in August incase they had sold so not sure what we are going to do as everywhere seems fully booked up. May just have a few day trips in the summer holidays this year instead of our week at the end of August. Im sure we will get there at some point. Absolutely love the place as its got something for everyone. Have a lovely time and pop into Home by helen and say hello shes a lovely lady with a beautiful shop full of gorgeous stuff❤️
just got back from Scarborough and Whitby absolutely wonderful, the Pirate ship trip is worth going on and is very good value for money. Terror Towers is fantastic.
It certainly was a beautiful day for it. Have put this on for my brother who is disabled and housebound, but the east coast was always a favourite place of his to visit so he is thrilled to bits to be watching this. Thank you for uploading.
Awesome 👌 We we're there for a few days including Armed Forces on Saturday 25th of June, and walked to where you started and back. We're back from this Wednesday for a week too. Scarborough is definitely our go to part of the East Coast. We're visiting Bridlington for the Armed Forces Day on Saturday 9th of July too.

love scaborough, went here with my parents last September and stopped in a guest house, near Scarborough castle , I remember my parents used to take me and my sister up to Scarborough for the week stopping in the same guest house in Alma Square, we did try to find the guest house we stopped in, but it had gone, owners girls did not want to take over.

Yours have always been my very favourite walks. I've spent so many wonderful hours walking with you. I am so sad that the now included 'jerky' filming (that is the only way I can describe it) means I am no longer able to watch it comfortably. A great loss.
What can one say about this video except wow wonderful ,ok bit of graffiti so what ,wanted to dangle my feet in the sea ,the huts lovely ,the swimmers and dog having fun all with my favourite track playing ,absolutley awasome .
Great video but that intro song was just too long and actually spoilt the first 8 minutes of the video for me and because it was an intro song I didn't think it would be playing for anymore than maybe 2 minutes at the most, unfortunately I felt the need to skip to roughly 9 minutes when it finally stopped. No offence intended it's just my opinion.
@@GimbalWalkTV Oh right, was it only windy for 9 minutes then? Lol. Fair enough but I'm sure nobody would have minded a bit of wind noise, it all adds to the natural sound of the videos 👍

A very different kind of walk today! At first, I thought it was a "has been" resort but the further you walk I could tell it was still a busy(?) resort. I guess just like here people are not quite into spending money at a place like that!
